Hi guys! I'm own a p30 pro 256gb Aurora for 3 weeks and after I saw oneplus 7 pro I have some thoughts to switch..

What is it you like about the 7 Pro that differs from P30 Pro? I don't see any benefits myself...
I saw a couple video reviews of the 7 pro and the audio quality seems really bad which puts me off. But then again the oneplus will have better root/rom support and has a better screen. I would miss the ultra fast charging of the P30 pro too much to make the switch.. But its preference really.

I'd hang fire a bit, P30 is awesome but seems like huawei released it 'unfinished'. I think it's true potential will only come to light after a few more updates. I hope so anyway, this was hella lotta cash to have some faulty stuff with it out the box; cartoon wobble issue from front facing cam, red tinge issue, shocking 4k stutter during video panning. Main things for me. However, have taken some of the best pics so far on a smartphone (tried most current flagships), 1080p is good enough and things are improving update by update. I also feel of all the gesture implementations (pixel 3,oplus etc.) huawei nailed it. Hopefully there will be further improvements, enough for me hold on a while yet. If your a root and rom lover op7 gonna tempt you over, won't be long before gcam gives it a boost too. Personally need a phone to work as intended, too much time wasted flashing and putting phone in a less capable state for the sake of some 'enhancement', 'feature'. But yeah, tempted as you maybe, definitely wait a bit, be hard to forgo this camera tech. Have a look into the USB method to get you up to. 153 already. Phone is super smooth after this. Await more cam improvements though. :good:

any new opinions on this topic, I just broke my Honor View 10 and need to replace the phone, P30 pro or OP 7Pro have similar prices (used ones)
P30 pro have better battery life and camera (maybe), but OP 7Pro will have longer support but P30 is getting v2 because of all USA bullcrap and bans ( not sure what that can mean for older P30 and their updates)
P30 Pro is cheaper (used and can find one with 6GB instead of 8GB more expensive variant)
any suggesstions what to get?
The p30 pro has amazing night shots....
And a knuckles feature for easy gestures.
And wireless charging although i dont think i’l ever use it.
But i wonder about software mostly. I dont read much positivity about reno’s coloros, but also enough critisism about the software of the p30 pro.
The reno doesnt have a notch, no protuding camera’s, stereo speakers...
Hey guys, dont be shy for those that have a P30 Pro did you come from a Mate 20 Pro? Feedback? Happy with the move?.
$200 Canadian difference for me, taking the savings and Mate 20 Pro or spend more for better? Is it really better outside the camera? Last two phones I had LG G7 and PH1 had Quad HD I liked that. Battery life imp, between the two its close so lets hear feedback.
Planning to buy Asus Zenfone 6 when it releases in USA and I am aware it is FHD, I expect P30 Pro will be better with OLED FHD thus I am not yet making a Quad HD screen a definite requirement for this round of phones.

I have used both and i prefer p30 pro,for the camera new sensor with OIS and 1.6,the battery very impressive and small notch,as for the display i am very satisfied for a fullhd screen.

1) I'm able to buy the Mi 9 or the Mi 9T Pro for about the same price. Which one should I choose if I value camera quality?
2) Does Gcam work on them both?
Overall and with more features (cause camera is about the same) go for Mi9.
If you dont like the waterdrop notch go for Mi9T Pro...
But in my opinion Mi9 have wireless charging, ir blaster - future proof.
...the good about Mi9T pro is higher battery and back design is more appealing to the eye, but more thicker than mi9.
Wireless charging and ir universal remote are very useful for me. Plus the Mi 9 is thinner and lighter. So I went for the Mi 9.
But K20 Pro has a bigger battery and a headphone jack, so...
The other thing is I'm not a fan of the popup camera. When my phone is on the desk by my side, I prefer unlocking with face unlock, which instant on Mi 9.
But you can't go wrong with either.

Just wanted to ask if the OnePlus 10 Pro supports aptX TWS+. My earbuds pair correctly on my Mi 9T Pro but always pair in aptX mode on OnePlus 10 Pro.
