Hey I created a profile to toggle the quick view feature of Fitbits. It uses the keyboard emulatetion feature under task>imput>keyboard. I think it's pretty handy, I'm not sure if it is charge 2 specific or not. So if it doesn't work for you I'm sorry.
I'm hoping someone else might like it, & I'll gladly welcome your input and suggestions on how to improve it. Such as
1-making it more robust, it sometimes fails to click the correct button
2-it's only a toggle right now, I don't know how one could make it know its state.
3-making it more universal if it is tracker specific
Anyway here is the link to the profile
https://taskernet.com/shares/?user=...gw5uBnC3HAI1&id=Task:Fitbit+Quick+View+Toggle
This requires Tasker v 5.7 to work properly.
Hi, can you please say about what Fitbit Quick View are you saying? I'm also a Charge 2 user but didn't get what does it mean by 'toggling the Fitbit Quick View'. Can you please share any screenshot?

Sorry for the confusion
Quick View is where your fitbit lights up when you tilt your wrist to look at it like when you look at a watch below is a screenshot with the setting highlighted.

Oops.. sorry to you too. I knew about 'Quick View' but forgot then. I even searched in Fitbit app settings still I was not able to find it.
Anyways thanks for the profile

In what other ways do you integrate with Tasker and Fitbit?
This is the only Tasker & fitbit profile I've built, I usually have Tasker push me a notification in the morning and evening giving me the option to toggle this setting.

Nice app. Clean and simple ui.
Absolute silent and invisible blocking of calls and texts if set that way.
One question, is there going to be a way to temporarily disable blocking actions on a per contact basis ?

Yar no point in per contact. There will be a "Sweep only mode" added today instead, its more effective.
0.9.2.4-B11
Added "Sweep only mode" (use it to temporarily disable call blocking)
Added "Use contact colors" to Convo UI options
Changed sidebar widget behavior
Changed contact setting defaults (notifications mostly)
Added Debug logging option (please enable it if you have technical issues)
Changed lots of descriptions for clarity

Thanks and by the way can we have a UI option for the individual calls and texts log? So like the Conversation color toggle?
Just long press on one of the logs to give detailed breakdown for that contact

That's what i mean, but its not need long press. Just tap opens detail page!
I just mean so all colors in that details page would be the same color, like using the setting in the changelog.

Hiya. I think were going to this after all. Consensus here is to use a swipe to disable in the contacts view. Trouble is indicating disabled contacts in ssome way, Any ideas?

Good question,
1. How about traffic lights ? Green active, red disabled, maybe a yellow for something
2. Could fade out the contact ?
3. Put a line through the contact, like its been crossed out ?
4. Add an additional comment per contact with a simple STATUS = x

Hi b3er, tiktok! i think were in agreement were going to use a toggle like in the standard wifi settings - just on off an no swipe to disable. That is too confusing. Ill work on a release for tonight.
PS were also going to leave the overall sweep only mode cause its still very useful (for me at least since i only keep my banks in PP).

Toggle, great idea - why didn't I think of that !
Also agreed the overall sweep is a useful option
---------- Post added at 07:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:49 PM ----------
BTW Still noticing that missed call notifications are not automatically being swept. Sweeping only occurs when accessing the phones call log. I'm using AOKP/AOSP. Can send logs if required

This should fix it:
0.9.2.4-B12
Fixed missed call handling in sweep mode on latest AOSP
Added individual sweep only toggle to Contacts view (beta, we will make it prettier later)
Fixed color rendering issues in Conversation view (hopefully, let us know please)
Fixed MMS scrolling issue on Sense 4
Reworked MMS renderer (bigger previews of small pics)

Thanks for the update.
Missed call handling now works.
Colour rendering in conversation view still buggy.
When adding new contact from phonebook:
1. individual sweep only toggle defaults back on ON for all existing contacts
2. If selecting 'delete contact from phone' during import the contact picture is not imported into app and is lost, even when then deleted and exported back to phonebook. Only tested once - don't want to lose other contacts pictures.

OK I see the contact pic issue. But dont understand 1... for me it works as it should.
About contact pictures. The error is in it not showing the picture after import. However it may be not possible to restore the picture at all (and some other meta links possibly).
In this app this is not that important. You shouldnt have to do a lot of import/export operations at all.

Its a small point, but if some of your existing contacts are set to toggle OFF and another contact is then imported the toggles turn to ON for all contacts.

Ah ok i see. This will be fixed today. I think we will try toi change the toggles as well... we think we should make thew individual toggles a setting, so people can remove them if they dont use them because that seems to be what the people wantr.
Err sorry about that... Ran into issues with the new parser. Update will come today instead.

I know I've talked about this before, but I'm wondering if people have any suggestions.
I'm looking for a lockscreen replacement that will allow me to use my own image as wallpaper. Ideally it will also have lollipop features (I quite like the stock lockscreen, but it would be so much better if I could put my own pic there rather than having it be my homescreen wallpaper).
I've tried AcDisplay - You have the option of homescreen or grey. Otherwise I like it.
HiLocker - Selected image is zoomed WAY in for some reason which results in a pixelated image (even at 2K+ resolution).
Widget Locker - no longer supported.
I've emailed the devs on both AcDisplay and HiLocker, but never heard anything back.
I'd be just fine with keeping the stock lockscreen if I could figure out how to set a different wallpaper for it. Does anyone know if this is possible? Barring this, does anyone know of a good lockscreen replacement that would do what I want?
Xposed with Gravity box is what you need.
It will not have the security flaws that most lockscreen replacements have, and you can change the background.

Find the app in your app manager and untick the show notifications box.
---------- Post added at 11:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:23 PM ----------
That's if you want to keep using the app. If not, use titanium backup to remove it completely. However, unchecking the box may keep it from running properly at times, but that would be a very rare thing if it breaks it at all.

I actually figured it out right after typing that reply. Untick show current conditions in the notification settings for the app. Now I can actually see the picture of my kids when I have no other notifications.

Loving this app together with Power Toggles and Simple Control.
This is a great app.
Love this app, one thing annoys me though. I have to swipe down to get out of the notification lock screen after I unlock from fingerprint scanner. Been tinkering and havent found the option to get around that.

Is this when you are unlocking the phone (via FP) while the notification is active? If yes, then you are right it is a minor quibble sort of doing double unlocking.
The idea of this app is to allow you to glance at notification without unlocking the phone.

Just wondering if anyone on Verizon has Nice Shot working? I have it installed, but when I press Power+Vol Down, it just takes a normal screen shot. I don't see the "Screen Record" nor picture editing features that I see in videos of how to use it.
Go to your settings and then do a search for screen shot, click it, there should be an option that will be disabled about enabling the editor option after a screen shot has been taken.

No notifications waiting makes the screen off and AOD not showing.
Recieving or already having a notification shows AOD.
On top of that you can select which apps are important to you to behave this way for their notifications and ignore others, also can be set similary for charging = on / not charging = off.
Yet it has no additional impact on battery of what AOD usually consume maybe it will use like additional 0.009%
1- Install Always On Edge App
2- in Main settings section -> enable With AOD invisible -> but show AOD on notifications.
3- Main settings -> required permissions -> notifications access
And optional permissions -> AOD lighting controller.
4- save.
And that is it no need to enable any other permission or feature. However, please note that if you enable edge lighting then timing will be applied.
Please stop making multiple threads just for free advertisment of your own App. One Thread should be more than enough. Also you should mention That its 5$ to use it this way.
Sometimes we dont have to follow rules, but we have to use our own brain. That is advertisment and unnesecery, everybody knows that xda has way too less mods and is allways searching for new ones. making a new thread just because one of the features of your app, think about it...you are going to need about 50 threads then.
@saturday_night Sorry it is not advertisement at all, the app is already well known. I read rules carefully but did not see any notes about those two points. Also a while ago got in conversation with a moderator about posting the same app in multiple forums instead of just one thread in apps&games forum and he said this is allowed. Also I'm not talking about the app in particularly to sum it in one thread, as the title indicate those two threads are for two different features/tips/workaround that can be made on pixel by this app and only by this app

@moghm yes sure you can set it to light around camera with many styles

2- in Main settings section -> enable With AOD invisible -> but show AOD on notifications.
3- Main settings -> optional permissions -> AOD lighting controller.
4- save.
What are i'm doing wrong? My AOD doesnt go on
@amico81 AOD settings set to show always?
@ABSELT05 that was the solution thx for the help
I had to enable notification access for the app to work. Otherwise the app didn't wake AOD when a notification came in.
Now it works beautifully BUT unfortunately the battery drain of AOD is the same as it is without the app. And that's with only a few messages coming in, meaning AOD is off most of the time.
Are you aware of this or is it just me?
Is there any way to disable the localization of the app? The translation is terrible, and I can't find the settings.
Whatever I do, I only see the clock and the wheater info at the center of the screen.
@too.stoopid Sorry about misexplaining I edited the post.
Without being a system privileged app can not turns AOD really off it just seems off for the seak of easily and clearly being aware of having notifications far from phone
