Enable Call Recording on EMUI 4

Is there any way to enable call recording on EMUI 4?
I have found some tutorials but they work on EMUI 3.1.
Furthermore, there are some custom ROMS (like Sokkoban's) that can provide call recording, but I am not interested at this moment, for installing a custom ROM.
Anyone knows if it is possible and how?
I am currently on B584 dual L21 EU

I know that there should be an in-emui app, but I cannot find it. I've tried a third party app but it didn't work. So, I am searching through Huawei's apps...

no, just install the app

Unfortunately I get an error. I just copied the unzipped folder into system/apps and reboot (rw-r-r didn't work so I gave 755: rwx-rx-rx). Although under call settings I can see that there are some settings over call recording, It says that call record is disabled. When I tap in, in order to change the settings, it returns me back to the call log and for some seconds I get to lose my signal.

Boldbeast Recorder from the Play Store. Works just fine on my stock B584. They provide instructions how to configure the app for our device.

Strange ... On my B584 work fine, the folder is rwx-rx-rx and the apk rx-r-r

Exactly the same problem. And during a call when I tap into the icon to record the call, I get a toast message that the call couldn't be saved.

apk (rw-r-r) and apk directory (drwxr-xr-x) have correct settings and UID root (I checked against other system applications)
Under call settings - call record is disabled. When I tap in, in order to change the settings, it returns me back to the call log and for some seconds I get to lose my signal.

I don't touch nothing under settings
You should see it enable when you start a call
Just click the button to start the recording

Yes i know we have Call Recorder for Emui 5.x.x create by @Atarii but it's for Magisk 14.0
Now i update his module to new Magisk 15.x and added more call recorder for emui.

I made my own module before I saw yours, but it's exactly the same and works for Mate 10 Pro EMUI 8.
Phone app refused to show settings the first 5 times or so though, so keep trying if it happens to you.

I don't have Emui 8.x.x I wait for update for my P9. On Emui 5 i don't have no problem with this mod.
I check call recorder for Emui 8 on my p9 with noghut and it's work but in setting I don see call record but when I go to sdcard/ records I see all records from call.
This its because Emui 8 have vdex file more but on Emui 5 we have only odex

For me it's Very important when you go to dialer and then go to call record do you have there recorder call in file and in sdcard or ext sdcard. I don't know do you change internal memory with external memory in setting

From automatic no. You can manual upload if you have count to upload in your region

I tried this on C432B365.... The call settings still crush couple of times before it allow to activate the call records...also the call record is option in missing directly on quick option

Ok I try corrected file for your rom and send you new Magisk pack before I must check china rom first

Please help me, its necessary for my work, i want setting it become auto record, white list record like emui 5.0 android 7.

Auto recording not working on emui 4.1 you can only manual record. Try go to settings/application and then change to system app and find record. Check there do you have permission to SD card to write record

You have to disable googlz voice recognition for huawei call recorder to be able to work

I'll save it for future reference, cause I'm trebling right now mainly testing out xposed, and trying the different audio mods, however, I may not last much because I'm unable to get twrp running, so that's a deal breaker, but I'm still trying

Call recording

I just got the phone Tuesday and can't find a way to enable call recording.
Anyone knows how I can enable this?
With my Oneplus 6t there was an app to enable it.
Xiaomi had it enabled by default.

Are you using an app for call recording or trying the android call recording?
AFAIK Google made Android hinders call recording from Android 8 or 9 upwards, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

On the Oneplus 6t I used the build-in call recording.
This could be unlocked with an app. No root or what so ever needed. Just ADB.
Really miss the call recording on the P30 Pro.

Tried any 3rd party app? Confirmed not working? Asking for a friend, he just ordered the phone.

Problem is huawei. On My Mate 10 pro with Android 9 it works, but bootloader unlocked and rooted phone is needed. And I use the original callrecorder files from Firmware.

But with root you change system files and thats why now you can use call recorder,without root call recorder in android 9 is disable,this is not glhuawei "problem" ,call recorder is disable for all phones with android 9 without root

Disabled vs not activated. It is a difference. The call recorder. Apk is included în firmware but not activated. Simply copy The file from on place to another place (need root acces) and it will be activated (on mate 10 pro android 9.) I will check The P30P firmware to see If it is included or not.

Root is not obtainable yet, Tried a few ways. Need an actual Dev to get onboard.

No. I cannot unpack img of P30P firmware. It doesnt work with usual tools. Hm.

Once again they are closing the circle, first stopped with the bootloader codes, now this, what will be next?

Try Cube call recorder version 2.2.138,its the only one that works on the Mate 20 pro which has similar hardware.

Cube call recorder work's gr8 on P30 Pro with latest firmware !!

google changed things on Android 9, all calls show as "unknown" on ACR. makes the app redundant.
so please don't recommend things without checking.

You can test it.
The App has a free version. Just check if it records.
Cube is using a different method than ACR.
Thats the reason You can records with it.

At the moment I have no P30 or P30 Pro.... I've got a Galaxy S8 locked on Oreo to avoid the damages of Pie, and I'm looking for a device that works on call recording. Needed for my job.
Tried Xiaomi Mi 9 that works, but it has a poor quality on audio and Bluetooth...

Parrot version 7.0.009.259843690 works fine. Never had problems with it. You should reboot your device if you've instaalled

For EMUI 10.0 and 10.1, you first need to delete the old version of call recording (application names: version for EMUI 9.1 - "Recorder" (do not accidentally delete the built-in voice recorder. Call recorder has an icon in the form of a green robot), and versions for EMUI 10.0 and 10.1 - " Conversation recording ")! After installing the application, it is recommended to restart your smartphone.
