Does the wireless charger damage the smartphone? Does it damage the battery's life?
May I use only the 20w wireless charger?
It doesn't affect anything, and you good with 20w wireless charger

Hey all,
I got an Aukey 3-port USB wall charger for Christmas (Model PA-T2), that includes a Quick Charge 2.0 port. I plugged in my Samsung Fast Charge Wireless charger into the port, but it does not fast charge at all. It will say fast charging, but then it will disconnect ("Wireless Charging Paused") after a couple of seconds. It'll keep cycling like this, so it's never really charging.
If I just plug the cable directly into the phone, it fast charges just fine though. I've tried changing cables as well.
Has anybody run into this issue with this Wall charger before?
Does your Samsung puck work fine with the included Samsung fast charge ac adapter?
The Samsung fast wireless charger has a warning not to use unapproved ac adapters or damage to the puck can occur. Must be reason why they state that. Could just be marketing cause they want you to use/buy their ac adapters but after all the wireless charger comes with an ac adapter.
The Samsung fast charging adapters don't have 12v output (not needed anyway) unlike certified QC2.0 chargers. Maybe the Samsung pucks don't have protection against the 12v, who knows, pretty stupid if they don't though.
I've already had issues with 2 Choetech fast wireless chargers. I was using a Tronsmart QC2.0 adapter which the Chotech is supposed to work fine with. Not taking any chances with my Samsung fast wirless puck, I only use it with the Samsung fast charging adapter & use my QC2.0 charger for cable charging.
Then there is/was the Verizon variant issue if that's what you have.

I was using it with the Samsung Fast charger just fine. Tried the Aukey fast charger (3-port USB) and it suddenly doesn't work. Such a bummer that it doesn't seem to be compatible..
So I found this article http://www.cio.com/article/3035071/...dge-support-15w-qi-wireless-charging-but.html
It seems like Samsung's new charger is not 15W standard?
I also found this product that shows a 15W standard wireless charger. I barely find any information about 15W Qi charger, such as the heat, charging efficiency etc. http://www.incipio.com/ces2016/ces-power/ghost-15w-qi-fast-wireless-charging-pad.html
3 times faster sounds very attempting.
Does anyone has any information related to the 15W wireless charger, does it heat up the device even more?
That incipio charger can't come out fast enough. By 2nd Qtr I'll be used to my Samsung wireless charging.
Just remember that the higher the wattage, the more heat is going to be generated. Wireless chargers already generate a lot of heat. I can't imagine how hot the phone is going to get with a 15 watt charger. There may be a very good reason Samsung is limiting the power of their charger.

If they were that concerned with what they wouldn't support the 15aw standard, but they do. Qi charging doesn't always make the phone that hot compared to quick charging. I have a Choetech fast qi charger (only 10W) I was sent to review and the phone is at about this same temperature as it is via QC 2.0 with a cable

Hi i would like to understand if the fast wireless charge ruins the battery. The wired fast charge use a 9V charge and it ruins the life of the battery. Does the wireless fast charge also works at 9V or it uses the 9V only to have enought watt of power to charge wireless at 5V and closest Ampere of the wall wired charger ?
I heard over time the fast charging kills the battery cells. I hardly use the feature. The article suggest to avoid ultra fast charging

Yes this is normal i know that but i did not understand if the FAST wireless charger is at 9V 1.5A or 5V 2A the first one is the charge that ruin the battery

I currently have a 10W Qi wireless charge stand.
Is this enough to wirelessly charge the P30 Pro at the fastest speed it supports, or would I need a new wireless charge stand to do that?
EDIT: Never mind, found it. It supports up to 15W. Shame there are no 15W Qi stands for under £50, at the moment.
Hello, anybody knows a third brand wireless charger that works with 15w fast wireless charge? Or the fast charge is propietary of samsung chargers only?...thank you

As far as I know, only the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger 2.0 will give you full 15W wireless charging.
Anything else (even if rated for 15W or above) will supply standard Qi wireless wattage of upto 10W (mostly 7.5 to 9 W)
Got an OMARS white brand 15W wireless charger and it only charges at the 10W level.

Use the type c to type c pd /pps charging .
U can use the samsung official 25w charger or a non branded one 25w and above and u can get good 15w or supported wireless charging with the supported wireless charger
Never mind
I tried with my huawei 15w wireless charger says its charging fast. I use with the 40w power supply of my huawei phone. Only proble is the pad its small and have to align precise because of the camera bump.
Pd. Its any way to know it is the phone is charging at 10w or 15w? Only says fast wireless charging.
My wireless charger has three different LED's for charging, yellow for 5W, green for 10W and blue for 15W, I'd guess if you have no other way to tell, you have to go by the time it takes for it to charge.

Interesting, I used the OnePlus oem fan cooled charge wireless and it would not charge mine. I look at the battery settings and it will tell me if it's fast charging btw. I got a nice Nillkin from Amazon that works

One of those Amazon white brands, an OMARS 15w wireless charger, think I got it still in 2017.
Saw these online but i'm not too sure if they work...
