I have twrp recovery on my Sprint HTC One Max and I cannot find a working SuperSu zip that will root my phone from TWRP recovery. I have tried to install while booted in to my Stock rom (no go); SuperUser appears to only CWMod recovery not on mine. I have tried to install Update-SuperSU-1.94 also to no avail....someone please help me find a SuperSU zip that I have purchased the pro for.
Thank in advance.
You flash the SuperSU.zip from recovery
I had 6.3.2.0 rooted via SuperSU. I updated it to the latest 6.3.9.0 MIUI6 versiom this morning.
I did not have Survival Mode enabled on SuperSU. After the OS update, I had no CWM or SuperSU or root.
So I installed CWM r8. Then through it, I installed r11. Rebooted after each zip install.
Then I went on to install the SuperSU 2.46 zip via CWM. Now the phone was stuck at the white Mi boot logo.
I have now switched to the secondary System (System 2 -- 6.3.9.0) via CWM and am able to use the phone.
1. What should I do in order to fix the boot issue on the non-working system?
2. This working system has root but no SuperSU. Installing SuperSU from the Play Store says it needs the binary. I am afraid to install any SuperSU zip at this point on the working system. What should I do?
*Another user on the miui.com forum also has the same issue with the new update (can't post link):
i am having the same prob too. same after updating the su. now stuck on mi3 booting icon. and i changede from system 1 and 2 both cant be boot up. how to do mounting so i can transfer new dl rom and install?

Hi. I've successully install TWRP using adb+fastboot.
Now, I want to install root.
I've downloaded supersu.zip file and placed it on my internal root storage.
Then I boot into twrp and flash it with Install zip.
All things seems to be done well.
I reboot: no root, no superSu app.
Any help?

Redownload root or try older or newer version. Try again. It should root your phone or download a rom they come rooted
I need this rom in order to unlock the device with the "device unlock" app. I've tried 10 times already, having the same result. Changed supersu versions a couple of times.
Have you tried version 2.79?

First, i'm sorry for my bad english.
My device is Huawei P9 Plus VIE-L09C02B334
Yesterday i was trying to root my phone. I have unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP but after that, i didn't know how to enter into the recovery mode, so i leave it. Today i discovered how to enter into recovery mode. I tried to flash supersu .zip, all good, but don't have root acces. I did a factory reset aagain, from TWRP and then i flash supersu .zip.
Now, bluetooth not work, i lost some apps from huawei and also i don't have root acces.
I don't know how to slve this.
Hello guys. Yesterday ( October 30th) I had a notification about upgrading from 10.0.2.0 to 10.0.3.0. I was rooted with Magisk, and after the update the root privileges were gone. I tried to boot to TWRP again, but it stays encrypted without asking for password as usual, so I am unable to flash the zip and root again. Is it ok if I use the boot.img in order to install via patched_boot?As for now there isn't 10.0.3.0 firmware available for download in order to extract it. Thank you for your time.
I am also interested about update with Magisk

You can flash patched_boot to get the TEMP magisk working before the new twrp available for 10.0.3.0
Code:
fastboot boot patched_boot.img
The boot image can be patched via magisk by yourself or you can use mine from 20181104_mi8_10.0.3.0_patched_boot.img
Remember this TEMP solution fails after rebooting. Or you fastboot boot patched_boot.img every rebooting.

I flashed the patched_boot made by magisk, but I am still unable to decrypt twrp. I hope they support 10.0.3.0 soon so I can use twrp again.
