Hi ,
here is my problem:
I wanted to install a new rom , so first i have to unlock my bootlaader .
I do this but before that , i do not back up all my data (yes, i was stupid ...). of course i have a back up of my msg and contact and ...
in my sd card .
After booting from unlock boot loader i see that my phone has been reset and all of my data looses.
The problem is that my sd card encrypted with a password so i can't view its content nor connect it via mass storage to pc
to copy my data.
So is there anyway to restore sd card because i have my sd password ?
I just want to decrypt the sd card or something that i can restore my data in sd card.
Best Regard

The phone must detect that the sd card is encrypted and ask me to enter password to decrypt it.
But it didn't .
What happened when i encrypt my sd card so every time i power up the phone it detect it ?
Why it cannot detect it now?
of course when i say sd card i mean phone storage.

Your data was erased by the system.and I think you will never find the data again.
Hi
In looking for a way to encrypt the phone and SD card and still be able to view/edit the files on Windows. I'm not looking for the best ever encryption, but rather an invisible encryption that do not limit the use for the person having the encryption password.
The dream scenario is:
Turn on phone and type in encryption password only on boot
Use screen lock as long as phone is on
Being able to use the phone as a 'USB stick' dragging and dropping files in Windows
Being able to dismount the SD card, typing the encryption password and view/edit all files on the card in Windows/other android devices.
Is there any way of doing this, e.g. by using and app and store a similar windows program in a small non-encrypted part of the SD card?
Is it possible to extract data from phones internal memory when the phone is protected with a pin and fingerprint lock. I'm asking this to understand if someone can get our data if we lose the phone which is locked with pin and bootloader is also locked.
I've seen that if bootloader is unlocked and TWRP is installed, files from internal memory and sd card can be accessed from TWRP.
Kindly share information regarding how to Encrypt micro sd card on Nokia 8 (Android 8.1), there is no option in settings menu.

means if my device is stolen then sd card data remains unprotected,
Is there any way to protect the data?
Dunno, the SD Card is intended to be used portable storage and to be swapped between devices should you wish, if you encrypted it then that wouldn't be possible.
Anything you wish to be encrypted i suggest you store it on the phone itself.
Hello,
For e-mail I am using K9Mail. Attachments are saved to a directory on the external SD card. Since the upgrade to Oreo K9Mail no longer seems to have write access. If I check the app permissions, it has read and write permission for the SD card. Why can't K9Mail write to the SD card?
I have another app, Locus Map, that since the upgrade to Oreo says there is a problem opening a database. That database is also on the SD card. Could this be the same problem?
What has changed here between Nougat and Oreo? How can I get back the write access to the SD card?
