Why did u post this twice? And performance wise, Omni. And if you are looking for customizibility then lineageos 13
I just got P8 Lite, what is the best stable ROM that i should flash, i'm going on a trip for next month so i need stable ROM, i have no time to test few ROMs. I don't really like EMUI.
Are Lineage OS 13 or 14.1 stable enough?

Omni is the most stable one.... Just heats up a little
Rremix and 14.1 can give some problems with heavy workload but fine with day to day tasks
Btw which p8lite ?????

Its buggy....I suggest you stick to EMUI if you want dual sim..... And for many people on RR sim isn't working totally
i was browsing through XDA and discovered we got Pie Builds!! after looking into the threads for the 3 roms as of 10/2/18, i read about a lot of people having a multitude of problems with them, from them not booting to fingerprint and encryption problems.
so, are these builds really buggy? should i stick with my oreo rom? whats up with these pie roms?
--edit--
also, for liquidremix, would i install the oreo or the nougat FW base?? whats the difference and does it really matter which version i do?
you just wait until all the bugs are fixed. or you can install it and support the developer by reporting the bugs you face.
everything works fine here, you have to see the version of your bootloader version c2.12 works everything standard, otherwise upgrade your stock rom to the latest oreo to update your bootloader or you can only install rom based on nougat
I'm not on a stock rom, I actually use havocOS I haven't used stock for a while now.. but when it was stock it was 7.1 nougat not Oreo, did Sanders xt1806 finally get the Oreo update?
Any news or developments to make an Official LineageOS for Huawei P8 Lite 2017? It would be awesome if this happened. There is already an Official Resurrection Remix OS for the Huawei P8 Lite 2017. And what should one do to make it official?
There's an official RROS for Prague? Where?
Sorry, I'm a bit out of the loop. Is it Pie?
Theres a group called OpenKirin that makes Custom ROMS for Huawei devices. They support a bunch of Huawei devices, you can check out on there website if your device is supported. They also have a telegram group. Huawei P8 Lite 2017 models PRA-LA1, PRA-LX1, PRA-LX3 is supported. They currently only make LineageOS, RR and Omni ROMS. RR is the only official rom. All of them is based on Android 8.0
They currently made Omni Pie based rom. It's in Alpha stage 2. You can flash it but there is some bugs.

Oh, I didn't know that OpenKirin's RROS is official. I flashed one of their ROMs once, it ran really well. It's a shame they don't release their ROMs without GAPPS.
At least its gapps pico.
I wait for sometime now (4 months) to see at least a beta stage rom for EMUI 8 - Based Builds from OpenKirin Project, the last build is the 5.2 alpha of the OMNI ROM.
Sadly, I see that all the attention is shifted to the EMUI 9 - Based Builds, no more updates for our beloved P9.
It will be a great deal to see Resurrection Remix OS 7.0.1 Beta 1 builded for EMUI 8 - Based Builds.
Could someone from the contributors, maybe @surdu_petru share some more info, is this project dead for EMUI 8, we will ever see some updates in the near future?
I know that is not indicated to ask for ETA, but it will be a great info so we know if we need to wait a little bit more time or move forward.
Thanks to all team members for the OpenKirin Project!

Yes this is true as they appear from almost a long time did not issue or update for emui 8 They may seem disappointed with us , According to openkirin Now they focus on emui 9 , Also at the same time they say there are releases or updates for emui 8 .
At least if they released their hi3650 patches we would be able to make our own GSIs...
Seems that we are one more time skipped...
OpenKirin Project released EMUI 9-based Build of OmniROM Beta 5 but no EMUI 8-based Build.
@OldDroid , @XePeleato , @surdu_petru , @irony_delerium can you please tell us if we will see any EMUI 8-based Builds or the project goes forward only with EMUI 9-based Build?
@Wattsensi Bro of which developer's lineage 16 are you using and do it require any patch to boot?
I see some launches on https://openkirin.net/download/ for the EMUI 9 devices AEX Beta 1 P1.
For the EMUI 8 devices nothing, no love at all?
I would love to see android 10 running on this device, it's the last in line Dual SIM Full Active, and this is what I love most on this device, also the smaller screen, I don't like the current sizes (way too big for my pockets).

I was using AndyYan LineageOS but install the one that appears here instead, it's much better despite having some issues with headphone jack sound not switching automatically. It has fully functional Camera, NFC, Bluetooth and mobile network. If you can use a manual sound switcher for now you can use it right now, just flash and go. One thing though, this ROM uses MicroG and Aurora Store instead of Gapps, if you don't mind about giving up gapps. Safetynet passing is not guaranteed. AOSP Camera works perfect.
I'm confident the issues above will be solved by the developer with enough time and people sending dmesg logs of their problems.

You’re talking about Andyan's LOS17 for treble devices? I flashed Andyan's LOS17, Camera didn’t work for me.

Nice! I'll still stay on the MicroG rom though, but it is indeed a better base than Omni even though it is less customizable.
LineageOS 16.0 Build 2 Released April 15, 2020 , with play store installer. replace huawei camera with "huawei-generic-google-camera" for huawei devices and working perfect!
[ROM][Treble][microG]LineageOS 16.0 for HUAWEI P9 is more optimized but microG not well for me and playstore it cannot be installed ( error )
Hello, I see on LineageOS website that they have LineageOS 20 based on Android 13 for the Redmi 9, however its not posted here in ROMs section. I would like feedback about bugs init before trying it. Did anyone try it?
I just found this thread about it.
Official LineageOS for Redmi 9
There is official release of LineageOS 20 for Redmi 9: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/lancelot/ Pity, no support on XDA.

I have been using it for two weeks now (lineage-20.0-20230322-nightly-lancelot-signed), everything is fine. Performance is way better than MIUI 13.
Tried updating to 20230412 today, but MindTheGApps will not install there.

How is the call volume ?
Call volume was OK for me. Did, not notice any change vs stock Firmware.
As i wrote on another thread:
" Just to mention, this is remarkable and clean ROM without any bloatware. Fast and smooth, far better than android 11 or 12. RAM management is great. I am not sure, but only downside is (maybe) battery time."
About call volume, it's normal. Maybe even better than stock android.
I am using this for couple days and everything works perfectly for now except audioFX app, but i don't need it.

I just successfully installed LineageOS 20 on my Redmi 9. Took time but was worth it, apps run a bit faster vs stock and animation smoothness is same as stock but the battery drain is way less than stock miui13!
