Hello everyone, i found this link to a petition from a signature of a senior member somewhere in the galaxy s II forum, but after clicking the link, I found out that it was a petition for samsung to completely make android more open to the public and so that developers could have a less hard time in porting new roms, customizing their devices, etc. Just click the link to learn more. Thanks http://www.change.org/petitions/samsung-mobile-help-third-party-development-achieve-full-potential-of-purchased-devices#
EDIT: Here are the exact reasons posted in that petition site, none of the words used will be coming from me, all of the words inside the quotation marks will be the property of the linked site I have given above.
"Samsung Mobile releases many mobile devices worldwide, yet has an unfortunate reputation for being somewhat slow to update devices to the latest firmware version. This leaves users open to security vulnerabilities, which is detrimental to the experience of paying users.
We, the undersigned, petition Samsung Mobile to release as much as is possible to third party developers (in particular, driver libraries and source headers) in order to allow users to obtain full functionality of the device they have paid for, and further the principles of free open source software (FOSS)."
I would like to know if XDA is paid to promote the oneplus devices ( 3/3t ),as i scroll through several pages reading topics,I see a permanant-fixed banner about the devices,Is this a way of promoting ? or they just want us to know about the devices? These three articles were written by 'Mario Tomas Serrafero' ,he writes articles about every small update one plus has rolled out.
I'm just curious,I know both are great devices, but I feel these are promoted by one plus for money, share your views.
Note : Sorry for my bad english, don't quote it to defend your dumbness.
/discuss.
Take a look at these banners -
Thread closed, no XDA was not paid to promote one plus devices.

you may link a blog on xda when there is, let`s say, something to download from when posting something useful for our users, but only advertising your blog here is nothing but spam
Thanks for understanding

Hi everyone,
I have been a Huawei smartphone user since March 2017. I started with Huawei GR5 2017 and moved to Huawei P9 6 months after it.
I own and manage a closed Facebook group. I am from the Philippines and most of the discussions there may be in our native language, but most of my posts/tutorials are written in English, so please feel free to post a comment or question and we can reply in English as well
It will be a big help as well if you wouldn't mind to share with us whatever tips or tricks you know about your Huawei smartphone ?
Here is the link to our group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/146307022588711
I don't know if I can post this here but I just want to let you guys know Android Authority is giving away a Huawei P20 Pro this week. I already have entered. Goodluck to everyone!
