There are apps on the Play Store that can do this. I use Wallpaper Changer.

Anyone know an application to change the wallpaper at a time interval?
Can't you just use a live wallpaper that plays a slideshow of the photos on your sd card?

why "mobile9.com" ? go directly to the market !
why does it matter from where you get it .... point is you got what you needed...
no?
I use "Zedge" download it free from the market, you can make it to change background every hour, 12 hours or 24 hours, you need to download those wallpapers using zedge
I'm actually using Backgrounds
Can someone list the steps of how to set a different wallpaper to the lockscreen to that of the homescreen.

thanks for the help
so is there not just a simple way to do it from the phone without the need to install another app?
seems very strange
It really depend on the framework implementation. Samsung and sony are allowing different wallpapers ... motorola and google vanilla don't.

Thank you for recommending this! I had been looking for a solution like this for over a week! Simple Image Wallpaper Pro solved the issue!
Is there a way to change the Lockscreen wallpaper? I downloaded widget locker but it keeps force closing when I try to change the wallpaper from there. Also is there a way to make led notifications when there's a text or email without root?

Do you have to be rooted to use that
Should off specified that but yes root is required.
I am using MultiPicture Live Wallpaper. No root is required. It changes normal wallpaper and lockscreen wallpaper and can also be set to rotate photos from several directories.

I tried it and it didn't quite work out for me : (
Did you Google search a modded stock launcher with this feature? If you know how you can use apktool to decompile the apk (don't know what the edit would be) then recompile and side load it to your device.
I have nova installed
And I downloaded widget locker but it keeps force closing
I think Widget locker hasn't been updated for a good while so more likely it's not supporting newer versions of Android.
Wysłane z mojego Nexus 6
I downloaded go locker and its working really well. Are there any others that anyone might suggest that doesn't have as many ads

Thanks! This really works!
This confused me too at first, as I switched to a custom launcher.
If you choose your wallpaper from the google now launcher thumbnail in wallpaper settings, you'll have the option to apply to homescreen, lockscreen, or both.
I'm aware that it can be applicstion specific.
I'm trying to find where are smart launcher 5 wallpapers .
If its build in app than maybe you can help me find current wallpaper location?

So where is current wallpaper ?
Ok
I have no idea where are wallpapers but I've found app (Get Current Wallpaper) that can save current wallpaper to the pictures folder [internal storage]
Hello
Is there a way to put Muzei or any third party wallpaper on the lockscreen ?
When I activate Muzei on the lockscreen it does not work. When I go in the wallpaper settings, I don't find Muzei anywhere...
Thank you very much for your help and have nice day
Same problem here
Probably it's possible using the MIUI Themes app.
