Unlock bootloader on Pie? - Nokia 7 Plus Questions & Answers

Hello everyone,
I see that there isn't a way to unlock bootloader in Pie. The only way is to rollback to Oreo and will be unlocked by cmd commands or is there another way?
After that can I go back to Pie with bootloader unlocked or no?

Don't know??? Never try to relock it...so you have to flash stock rom and your BL will be automatically locked...

As far as I know if you are running a custom boot image you won't be able to relock the bootloader on nougat. It's a feature to prevent you soft-bricking your phone, because if you lock it and it detects unauthorised firmware it will refuse to boot.
To relock nougat, simply use the dload method to get a completely stock device and you will see that the bootloader is now relocked.

Great!
Wondering if someone could point me to a guide on how to downgrade to oreo and unlock the bootloader on the 7 Plus?
No need to downgrade. Open developer settings. Disable and re-enable it. You can enable OEM unlock

About OTA updates after unlocking and re-locking bootloader

So I unlocked my bootloader a week ago in order to root my Samsung galaxy M21 Android 11 One UI 3.1, but since the steps were unclear and I was kinda scared I just ditched the idea of rooting. So I searched on Reddit and etc, once you unlock bootloader whether you get OTA updates. There were mixed answers, but then I found a thread saying that I could re-lock the bootloader so I went with the tutorial and re-locked it!!! My question is once you unlock and then lock the bootloader again will you get OTA updates or not???

I actually unlocked the bootloader on my Mi 10T Pro 5G and then after a few weeks I decided to re-lock it. I installed the stock fastboot ROM and the locked the bootloader with the "fastboot oem lock" command. Will I still receive OTA updates? Thanks!
