Great!

Damn, just gave this ROM a test and as far as I can tell it's really fast battery is ok and temperature gets slightly hot just like dot os ROM. I'm running it with gapps Pico and magisk 19.2, a issue I found was that once your in a app pressing the home button takes 2 seconds and goes to home screen without any animation however quickly opening and closing an app has the closing app animation which is kinda weird. My s3 key lightning on the hardware keys work perfectly and overall even though this ROM is a test it feels great I'm wondering whether you will update this ROM or dot os. imo I prefer dot os for it's simplicity.

I would like to test this rom but sim card is not detected for me

Yes. It feels even hotter than dotOS. DotOS wins for me too, because of better customization, but to be honest crDroid feels faster. Anyway, both ROMS are in Alpha stage, not stable, with a lot of experience breaking bugs, but with a lot of potential as well. :good:

I have it installed and have been testing it, I didn't see any ota update setting when I searched for it on settings I had to go through 10 different menus to get to it in crdroid settings which is a little inconvenient I'm not sure if ota works because I flashed the update through zip on my laptop.

I understand if the OTAS are in CrDroid but I do not think it works as it is not official.
I'm thinking whether to switch to CrDroid Pie or stay in Dot OS Pie

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Lineage OS. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, Lineage OS, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into Lineage OS)
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different Lineage OS, thus bringing a beautiful charm to ROM
Own boot animation
Aegis: Power Saver
Yu Browser
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add Network speed for incoming and outgoing
Settings for Navigation Bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

HERE
Installation mode :
To install the clean ROM:
Download the ROM
enter the recovery
make all wipes (expect internal storage)
choose zip from SD and install
To install upgrade:
Method 1:
just download the complete package via OTA
enter the recovery
only to wipe cache and dalvik (optional)
install the complete package downloaded via OTA
Method 2:
Download the complete package over the air and go to install update
let it install automatically for you
Method 3:
Download only incremental updates
for that you need to donate 30 CNY for the team to release the feature on the device directly
But you can do this update without donation
just go on the site and click below build itself where it is written (upgrade: OTA to MK ...)
there will be the incremental free for you, this will save on your data package or in your spare time.
Big Thanks @martincz for development, I am NOT the maintainer!

Also, I am on COS 12.1 now, would flashing this ROM require 6.0 (MM) to be flashed first ??

Yes I heard it from many users about this rather strange problem including touch problems. But I never faced any of these issues on any Nougat based ROM on any kernel whatsoever. Although I have once or twice found my SIM selection option greyed out on Resurrection Remix N but a simple reboot solved it.

I only have a i9195, so I would welcome feedback especially on the i9192 and i9190 builds.....
The i9195 build is working well btw
Good see XenonHD for s4 mini.
Will give you nice feedback for GT-I9192
Thanks! Everything seems to be working correctly. This ROM is very smooth (data partition is f2fs) and has different apps compared to Los(which is nice).
Testing battery life now (serranotexx):good:
my phone- gt-i9192 duos.
Flashed it today, the ROM seems to be stable, fast and smooth.
Having Nova-launcher as default is great :good:
-->Some options under "settings--Configurations>>" seems to be irrelevant to S4 mini though,as follows..
-- Fingerprint Authentication Vibration
--Fingerprint unlock after reboot
--Fingerprint max fail attempts.
-->A common bug as found in all other ROM's is present here too i.e
if i go to 'Settings--Privacy--Protected APPs' and try to launch a protected app from there, i get an error msg as.... "Settings has Stopped" and system asks me to whether to close the App.
Overall the ROM is good.
Battery life to be tested.

Yes, I noticed that. Just ignore those, they are options only available on devices that support fingerprint unlock....

And also very low battery drain. When the phone is idle less than 0.5% per hour drained. In my daily use I usually got 1 to 1.5% per hour and now with XenonHD around 0.8%
So far so good. Great job!
New build up
Changes:
- auto brightness tuning
- heaps of framework fixes
- updated apps
- fixes to apps(Snap, Settings, etc)
- kernel fixes
Thanks to @arco68 and Xenon and Lineage teams
Flashed the Build "XenonHD-170616-Unofficial-serranodsdd".
The ROM is fast and smooth as before, am noticing that inspite of all the additional features, the battery Drain is very slow compared to other ROMs.
Good Work
Thanks :good:

So far so good. Great job!
Does this ROM support signature spoofing out-of-the-box?

Am facing a problem,
Device gt-i9192
after flashing the latest build , i am losing my wifi signal after around every 10-15 mins periodically.
After that i have to soft reboot my device to automatically get back the wifi reception again.
I have never faced this problem in the previous builds.
To those who are testing the latest build, please check if anyone is facing similar problem.
I did not face such an issue , in any of the previous builds.
Note: I am facing this problem only when am actively using the internet, for eg: while watching You-tube Videos, or browsing heavy web pages.

Due to the problem that i stated I flashed back the previous build i.e of '20170616' build and after installing back the usual apps i noticed that i am having the same problem with previous Build too, which i didnt face before .
The only new app i have installed since flashing the latest build of Xenon was ,
2 themes from XDA labs namely "Hahaha theme" and "Hide X" theme, i feel probably those must be reason for the Wifi cut-off, i can't find any other reason, so i have to test by removing them.
Another thing i wanted to say...
The power menu is Enabled on secure lockscreen.
I can't find an option to disable it.
Can a toggle be added to disable power menu on lock screen, because without it, anyone can switch off the phone, even when having a secure lock enabled.

Ok, thanks for the info.
Meanwhile i was trying to install the rom, i cannot flash pico gapps because there is not enough space on /system partition, also i noticed that advanced reboot menu does not reboot in recovery mode(tried only reboot->recovery) but it does only a normal reboot.
Edit: UI is very smooth, and phone performance/battery life are great:good:

I used an older gapps package...everything worked, now system has only 18mb free hope it is enough.
Anyway, thanks again for you work!:good:
Edit : everything seems to work fine...except audioFX that breaks audio(headphones), so i had to disable it.
Oh and safetyNet is passed, even without magisk installed:good:
Why is there no web browser app?

thanks it worked
the rom goes smoothly like silk, the problem I get is that you cannot turn off the phone completely, when you turn it off, what it does is restart, otherwise excellent work. Thank you

Same behavoir here too. If you are in TWRP and then select shut off, it stays off.
Great ROM, very smooth.
i have a XT1040, after a week of usage apps started FC until the system stopping after few seconds of boot up and restarting stuck on that loop, i dont know what caused this , the rom wasnt rooted ,moved to lineage to test it, but later i want to download an older version of viper os with nougat or mm.
Thank you, excellent job. I have been using the rom for 8 days and it goes like the first day, like a silk. Waiting for it to be updated to see if the phone's total shutdown is corrected, since it never succeeds unless you turn it off from recovery. otherwise very comfortable with this Rom
I'm have heavy lag while playing PokémonGo... But Ui, chrome, other games work fine:silly:
Battery 5 to 6 hours of usage...pretty good imho.

As I expected before... your custom rom is amazing.
why create new thread?
what is the difference between PIE and PIE plus edition?
is it okay to dirty flash latest pie to latest pie plus?
In the last update of Pie Plus "PixelExperience_Plus_markw-9.0-20190905-1622-OFFICIAL" the notification bar is not working, touching a notification the systemUI craches. Please fix this

Re-install the ROM by the clean way with wipes and also don't forget to format data. There is no bug with notification bar!

1) You can easily saw that there kinda different nicknames "Granrage_VL" vs "Granrage". I don't have any access to my old account. That's why I've created new thread.
2) Kinda hard to say, now team PE provides two editions of Pixel Experience: Standart(Pie) and Plus(Pie). Standart is just a clean PE without any extra settings and other stuff. Plus is a version with extra settings and some other stuff. But also there is no big difference(on rom side, not a device, for device there was a lot of changes) between old PE and PE Plus, only new PE Standart edition don't have extras.
3) No, you better install it by the clean way to avoid any bugs. Too much changes in code.
Sorry for the late reply.
I hope that my answer was helpful, that's kinda hard to to explain the difference between this two versions.
You also can find some videos on YouTube to understand the difference.

Yeah, sorry, I'm working on it. That's hard to check for me, cuz there is no volte in my country. Should be fixed in the next update.

Thanks for this ROM, this is the best ROM I've use so far. But I notice some Bug in Screen Recorder when you start Recording using System audio as Audio Source the Sound is gone. After you Record there's no sound if you play the Captured Video you'll need to use earphones to use if you want to have audio in your screen recorder (but still recording didn't give any Audio until you stop recording).
Sorry for my bad english hope that you understand my point. Thank you once again.
Wow,wow, wow
The best rom
I install this rom (pie plus) with clean install, (restore to factory from orangefox and delete data). I don't know why, my notifications bar sometimes lost one of the logo (yesterday i lost a signal strength bar, which came back after restart. Now i lost alarm logo).
Other than that, this version better than last version. The battery consumption is better than last version.
How about Android 10 Beta build? Is Android 10 possible for our old device?
When i convert any app into system i get boot-loops. What can i do?
Took me a couple hours but I'm running it on my markw. Have to say, it's the best custom rom I've tried since I started fiddling with ROMs on 2013. It's better than miui, which I'm glad I'm never coming back to, and also I no longer want to buy a new phone, as this one is quicker again. Thank you!
I'm still struggling to make the fingerprint reader recognise my fingerprint, but that's not a major issue.
it's really a great rom,now I flashed 0924 build, almost everything work fine, but I have a problem,It seems to only appear on my phone because I didn’t see other people saying it.
I got a 4+64 modified version of markw, then I almost tried all the android p official rom for markw, like havoc, mokee, dotos, crdroid and pe plus, they all have a same problem that when I was on the phone, it was difficult for the other party to hear my voice, only rr os does not have this problem. It seems that it is not a hardware problem?

Bug reporting:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Hi,bro. Is it possible having a Rom with Signaturen Spoofing enabled? Unfortunate HavocOs is dead.
Thy, Ray
Trying to flash it, third time already, same message: zip code format... something wrong. Maybe is just me, but only for letting you know. Good luck!

U need to follow that method
First take a internal storage backup first in to your pc.
1. Flash latest fastboot rom on your MI max 2 via pc
Fastboot rom
2. Flash Treble Recovery on your phone.
Orangefox Recovery
3. Now open recovery mode. Go to wipe section then wipe data /dalvik/system/vendor/
Format your phone. Connect your phone to pc using USB. U r on a recovery mode so go to mount section select all options for mount everything. If some option will not mount just lev it.
4. Download your favorite pie rom file into your pc.
Now copy your favourite Pie Rom Zip & Gapps to your internal storage.
5. Now come to your phone. Go to install section select ROM?+ Gapps+ magisk
It will solve your issue.
thanks for quick reply, all that Im doing, except flashing fastboot rom...
I installed the rom on my Mi Max 2, I have a problem with loading which is always like "slow loading" and another question how do I make the sleep screen not always on? uses up a lot of battery. but the rom is very good.

1. For slow loading decrease scale from developer options.
Window animation scale
Transition animation scale
Animator duration scale
Set it to 0.5x

ROMS UPDATE
Tested series:
AOSIP
Superior OS
Candy ROM
cr droid OS
Smoothness:
AOSIP is better than every OS in the list.
Battery:
Not that much difference as per my use.
Just some tweaks (as discussed in threads) settings in kernel auditor and you are good to go for the more than whole day.
BUGS:
AOSIP
Volume bar is on left side, and no settings to change for it.
Few glitched but will be resolved by next month update.
SUPERIOR OS
Whatsapp detecting for "custom ROM" can be either build error or some minor glitch.
CR DROID OS
Wasnt able to find the setting to turn off the hardware navbar.
CANDY ROM
Pretty ok.
UI is not that okay, and minor glitches for some apps (i.e., Apps crashing automatically)
Shout out @MaheshTechnicals for working on these ROMS.
Thanks a lot for keeping the 9.0 versions alive.

Could you update me for the bug in AOSIP ROM.
The volume bar on the left, is there any settings which can be tweaked or is that a ROM bug?
