[MOD Updated FEEL D SPEED] Softkeys glow effect & bg dark white stripes & speed tweak
Hi guyz:
This is my first mod for Xperia Z which is having modified softkeys with glow effect and also changed the background to black white stripes finished...check the screenshot attached at the end of the post
First of all thanks to matt4321 from xperia t forum whose softkeys i used and also thanks to niaboc79 whose status bar m using in this mod.......
and to all people this mod is having the status bar of Niaboc79 Docomo status bar..:angel: and yes this mod also includes 10 toggles docomo status bar
Instructionz
download the mod herein attached
flash it in recovery
wipe dalvik and cache
reboot
All done:good:
Warning
i am on IN CUST version .350 firmware so try it out it should work almost 99% ...but yes do backup before flashing this mod
am not responsible for any bootloop caused to you

I use alle the commands and there is no bootloop but an increase of speed for my Xperia Z.
How much better is the batterytime through the batterycommands?

Nice tweak. Do you have a version that has a plain black background. I use the fuklag ROM which is all black and the stripes clash a bit with the colouring.

yes it work but dont flash x10s build.prop bcz its from xperia x10....jus manually add the lines in build.prop i have updated the installation check it out and it wont bricked yours xperia z so dont worry

I have made some custom color for Status and Navigation bars. They seem to go well with some certain wall paper/themes from stock xperia. Screen shots attached.
These should help refresh phone's look or show-off to someone :victory:!

Colorful Nav%Status Bars for ExperimenT 2.5 & other stock-base firmware .140 Roms
It seems to me there are many ExperimenT2.5 users including me. So I have made colorful Nav and Status Bar for that rom. It is based on stock firmware .140 so it should work also with stock rom of the same firmware. Credits and many thanks goes to TiMiN8R!
Some additional mods to the SystemUI:
- I have took liberty to change the icons of the toggles to the old version, since the new toggles seems to be less preferred compared to the older ones. I have also changed the clock circle to an older style that can read easier. Hope that TiMiN8R is comfortable with this :fingers-crossed:.
- Also one more color style is added which is Endomondo. Screen shots attached. and another screen shots of the Insta-Grey.

4.3jb (for 4.1.2jb see second post)
This Rom should work without any problems! no big mods, no big fuzz...no big experiments.
This is my daily driver! Its good enough for me, so maybe some other person will like it.

Changes/Modding:
As you maybe noticed, the Filesize is quiet small. You can expect i deleted many Sony Apps.
- no walkman, album, video, sonyselect and so on
- deleted many other apks (such as google contacts sync, google calendar sync, chrome, etc. etc.)
+ xperia home is included (themed some little parts, disabled home stage background, colorscheme)
+ included xposed installer and the tinted statusbar module. this module gives us a nice experience
+ reduced navbar height
+ lockscreen-maximized-widget backplate removed
+ added jellybean clock (light themed) (changed colorscheme a little bit)
+ modded systemui.apk (see screenshots)
+ framework-res.apk modding (some apps with dark theme will have a light theme now) ---> Screenshots
---> there are textcolorbugs, but nothing annoying.
+ Xperia Z1 Compact Stock Email Client (4.3) UK nice UI, imap push!
+ new sounds/ringtones
If you miss some App/Apk, simply grab it from the original deodexed Version in the noticed thread. Any other app, you can find in the playstore.

I myself do clean Installations most time! After some hours of let it settle and my personal configurations it works without problems. So i guess if you dont break it yourself, there shouldnt any problem.
But, better have backups and know what you do, ok?! Im not responsible if you break something. Works here and is my daily ROM!

unlocked bootloader? then i think you know what you are doing. install the usual way
locked bootloader? install just like you would install the Rom in matt4321's thread

after Flashing Rom.zip
reboot, and wait. it can take a minute...or two... :fingers-crossed: (dont worry if your phone have a random reboot after first boot, ignore it)
first thing to do after booting: open LMT Launcher, accept root, activate touchservice, enable autostart touchservice
if you prefer the stock navigation bar: qemu.hw.mainkeys=1 --> you can delete this line in your build.prop, save it...
then reboot, you should have back your navigationbar
you can enable init.d support by open the universal init.d support application: Activate, Reboot, Done - battery, cache, sdcar, zipalign tweak
if you have that annoying network notification (enabled/disabled mobile internet blabla):
please flash that zip: CallRecordEnable_fixLTE_disableNETWORKnotify.zip
if you download it and use it, thank nicemblem
you want improve your wifi signal strenght? you can flash this:
WCNSS_TX_fw.67 and Baseband_fw_TX_fw.67_v33-52 (Xperia TX) (scroll down, look under "Baseband/Wireless in the thread)
no worry, flashing this shouldnt end up in errors, but you already know it.... having backups is nice
there is no doubt, my wifi signal strenght is obviously better. try that out, and please leave a thanks for peetr_ in his thread.
if you prefer sonyHome, then i recommend using -advanced xperia Z launcher-:
advancedZlauncher_nonamitheme.zip - 2.84 MB (themed for better fit nonami-colorscheme)
flash the .zip in recovery [includes home.apk and musicwidget.apk (light)]
my observations: this launcher works more smooth than the original xperia T home.apk.
some of the features:
User selectable desktop and App drawer grid size (from 3x3 up to 12x12)
User assignable swipe, pinch and double tap gestures and button actions
Infinite scrolling
Hiding apps on the app drawer

I guess flashing the mod will end up in issues. Im not sure how it will work with disabled navbar. Hmhm
But i was thinking to integrate the mod in the rom, i just wanne wait for a later modversion. and i need doing bit more research doing integration.
If you wanne try the rom, then better backup, before flashing that mod. trial-and-error principle.

Rom works great by the way, thanks!
For anyone wanting to run it on the TX, my phone has an unlocked bootloader, so i don't know if that makes any difference to whether it will work or not. Other than that i just installed the ROM through CWM and then installed the patch straight over and it booted straight up. I have also installed some of my own mods which are also working great.

after boot my TX had inverted screen like this
I had try up stock rom ICS,JB repair with SEUS,Sony companion ...... but it still inverted

For stock Sony 10.5.A.0.230 firmware, use SystemUI.zip and for 10.5.1.A.0.283 firmware, use SystemUI_4.4.4_13_12_14.zip. (These aren't flashable zips!)
Deodexed users, copy only SystemUI.apk to /system/priv-app. Odexed users copy both apk and odex files to /system/priv-app. Set permission to 644. SystemUI force closes continuously. Don't worry. Reboot the phone and clear dalvik cache. Backup the original files before doing this!!
Make sure you have Super User Mod.(You can get it by installing Xperia™ Xposed (KK) by @serajr)

remove overlay from /system/vendor/overlay (com.android.systemui.apk)

For me its working in nougat. 33, deodex and superusermod. In the same model

Thanks a lot.those getting bootloop are most likely using rootkernel twrp.flash recovery from cross development section. Btw can you please add normal system ui(charging led plus stock rows)?I would be grateful

If yhu can help with a tutorial den i ll be glad cos i do mod my systemui myself and also i can do some mods myself. I attached screenshots below of my modded systemui. Im even compiling a thread for tha mod.

As you can see. Its working. If you wait i will upload the patch i ised and th services.jar i used

ive add an overlay for those who like to have led back on while charging and auto rotation off on 180 degrees

we juast need service.jar patch not the whole rom but still fantastic since i may use it to bring an custom rom and later

Im using the patch fron yesterday and its working without errors. I also have services.jar, do you want to me to upload too?
