p20 pro already support camera 2 api, not need enabling..raw format support only pro mode
By default, camera 2 api on P20 pro is limited.

Anyone knows why my Cinema 4K app crashes when i try to enable flat profile in Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Is it something to do with that Camera2 API, because it gave me notification "This device doesn't support Camera2 API". I really want to use that FLAT profile function which is provided only in this particular app which makes colour grading in editing much efficient. Is there way to fix this issue?
there is no proper camera2 api functionality in the mate 10/pro, so unfortunately there isnt a way to fix this

So do you mean that able to use that flat profile function you need camera2 api? Is this a fact?

As you know, there are 3 camera on the P20 Pro.
as you may have noticed; when you zoom in, it does not automatically switch to the zoom camera sometimes
So I'm looking for a way to access one specific camera (the zoom one).

I don‘t think there is any 3rd party app available that can, the implantation of Camera2 API is really poor. Huawei uses proprietary methods to control their cameras in the stock app.
The zoom lens is not used if closer than its minimum focus distance

Just unlocked my Mi 8 Lite and installed phhusson's 9.0 AOSP treble gsi.
Tried to enable cam2 by editing the build.prop. The Camera2 Probe app returns a hardware support level of LEVEL_3.
Whenever I use any camera app, the front camera will cause the camera app to close / not load.
Is anyone else having this problem/ is there a fix for this?
I understand that Camera2 API is necessary to use GCAM.
Mi 10 and some other phones have this image format option in their camera app which allows HEIF/HEIC image saving feature in MIUI. Snapdragon 855 officially has HEIF hardware support but Xiaomi has not enabled it for our device.
Any possible way to get this? I've tried ANX camera/AnX pro in MIUI but it doesn't work in HEIF.
Samere here for Mi 11lite: Snapdragon 732g has HEIF support, but Camera is still using JPG.

I'm using Xiaomi mi9 and have recently installed the GCAM MGC_8.0.018_A9_V0je.
The foto part of this gcam does not work at all. The video part works with its limitations, I can only record video zoom up to 5x, which is more than sad since the original camera offers 6x zoom.
Is there a hidden function which unlocks a higher video zoom... 10 - 20x?
Is there any other gcam module that works better on this phone:
