I am using Xperia Z1 C6919. After updating to lollipop it worked fine for one week but now mic is breaking my voice and the next caller cant hear me properly. I dont even know either its a hardware peoblem or software... Mic works perfect for apps like Voice recording and on whatsapp etc. But on call it doesn't. Plz help me...

Hi Arif,
I am also facing same problem after upgrading lolipop in my Z2, i went to Sony Center they enabled Hearing Aids option in call settings
now my voice is clear to the callers. I am not sure weather it's an hardware issue or software issue.
Go to Settings then Call there you can find Hearing Aids

after I installed last android update on my nexus 6, I got hearing problem during calling and only speaker works properly. does anyone know the problem?

Maybe the app Volume Control will help.
It is a set and forget app.
You need to enable 'incall volume' first. Set it to maximum.
the earpiece is not working during calls
tried soundabout not working
tried /system/build.prob fluences or something setting it as false and another thing as none also didn't work
any suggestions
Try to download soundabout pro apk from this link
https://apk4free.net/soundabout-pro/
You have to choose earpiece option for calls.
Or download "audio router" from playstore..

I am using Xioami MI A2 after upgrading the Android Pie, the mic has stop working when I try to use WhatsApp video calls the other person cannot hear me at all while I can see them as well as hear them very clearly, even I call someone its very clear.
also, the mic does not work while I try to use Google Assitant,
but works fine for all the other apps, it seems like a very common problem MI A2 users are facing

I'm experiencing the same problem with my A2 and Pixel Experience ROM! i guess secondary microphone is responsible for this issue.

Anyone face random times where the sound and microphone do not work until a reboot?
Thought it was Google assistant, but faced it again when setting up the car Bluetooth.
It's frustrating!
Currently on eu 9.7.11 ROM (unrooted).

Yeah, same problem here. Had it when connected to bluetooth car audio afterwards sound wouldn't work anymore.

It's frustrating, as I have to reboot but always wonder when it's going to randomly appear again!

It's annoying indeed. I have no solution at the moment. Maybe flash 10.3.15?
i am in 10.3.15, look like the bug fixed, been 3 days without mic and speaker problem.
Currently it's been fine, after a reboot all is stable so I shall see

I'm using the Indian 10.3.3.0 and it's been perfect thankfully
Indian has no NFC module. We are using Google pay, so it's mandatory for us.

I can live without NFC but sound I kind of need :silly:
Of course, I've two k20 pro. In one via viper4android, audio compatibility patch and audio modification library succeeded and stabilized one, but still fighting with the second one

With all that installed you find the issue is resolved?
Yes, the phone must be with magisk installed and these modules should be activated. I've found this useful information in one of the threads in the forum.
