Motorola One Power hard brick / stuck in EDL mode - Motorola One Power Questions & Answers

Give me a try and I'll update all the links in my post!
I have a Motorola One Power, bought in India half a year ago. I made no attempts to flash it/get root/played with Android anyhow. Was just sitting on the stock ROM and receiving all the latest updates, enjoying Android One.
One day the phone simply hanged and turned down lying on the table. I didn't drop it, or anything. It was charged to 20%. I was trying to charge it for hours without any success - no information was displayed about it. I was tried a soft reset, with pressing the Power button for 20 sec - no reaction. Trying the hard reset with Volume Down + Power for 25 seconds (and more, and many times with different combinations!) - no reaction. I was following this link.
So next I found you, guys with many good topics for unbricking devices in EDL and let me summarize, what I found and did:
1. Connect the phone to your comp.... On my Windows 10 PC, it was shown as (?) QUSB_BULK device, so we need Qualcomm drivers to support the chipset - google "Qualcomm QDLoader HS-USB Driver" to get the latest one.
2. Install Motorola drivers from here: and now the device detects as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
3. Go to the wonderful Telegram channel "Motorola One Power [chef] [Only Existing Group]" to type there #blankflash and you'll get the archive with the latest QFlash tool and latest blankflash file, adopted for the stock ROM.
4. Run blank-flash.bat with admin rights and at the same time try to enter to the Recovery mode on your phone - press Volume down + Power. It could hapeen not with the first attempt, and you can get an error like:

However, just restart the blank-flash.bat and continue trying to enter the recovery mode at the moment, it connects to the phone. Once you succeed - it must connect and do all the right stuff, so as a result, you'll see

5. Next step is to get the right TWRP image in the telegram channel above or on this site and flash it!

What I tried:
- different laptops - the same error.
- Disassemble the phone and detach the battery for 15 minutes, like shown here ...
After running the QFlash I get the same error. Can you advise me something, please?

Hi there,
Actually, everything on this model can be found in this awesome telegram channel @motoonepower (search in telegram, I can't post links here yet), including the latest blank flash and the TWRP image.
After all, I need to say, that in my case, the flash memory died and I had to buy another phone.

Need blank flash file for XT 1925-6
Hello, I bricked my moto G6, only white LED has blinking everytime i push power button combination and plugged in. Samething goes when i release the battery connector and plugged in, but it blinks more faster than if battery attached. Can anyone help me? What should I do? Does blank flash will make my phone back to life?

Click to collapse Why any of developer or user are not responding in moto g6 questions. I am also having same problem and searching blank flash file for over a month. I find one in https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/ali/blankflash/ but it gave me error. Also i am searching mmcblk0.img so that i will give a shot to boot using sd card. If i find any of solution than i will provide you as well.

I had a similar issue about a month ago. With the mirrors lollinet you are on the right track but you need to go to official builds page on lollinet and find the image that matches *your carrier* (or at least the carrier the phone is as intended to be used with). As far as I know, only the official builds for your specific carrier is going to sign and install on your device, any other build will not boot correctly. ---------- Post added at 05:00 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:28 AM ---------- I had a similar issue about a month ago. You need to go to the official builds page at lolinet /firmware/moto/ali/official/ and find the image that matches *your carrier* In my case, I have the xt-1925-6 I bought on the motorola site. I looked in each carrier folder on lollinet. I narrowed it down to the official builds in the folders labeled "AMZ, FI, RETUS" because they were the only ones with 1925-6 in their name. From there I downloaded all three and flashed them one by one until I had installed *the one* intended for my phone and then it booted fine. Can't remember if it was RETUS or FI that worked on my device. Either way, take a guess and flash each partition one at a time if the carrier you chose dosn't get signed and boot try another carrier image (Google "flash stock moto g6 xda" if your not sure how to flash the partitions.)

Don't tell me "Google" I know how to flash partitions with fastboot, but as was mentioned, no fastboot is available, phone only blinking white, its not possible to get into bootloader to flash any partition. So how did you flashed it?

I'm not an expert in blank flash procedures but it's not possible for the programm to flash any data (marked red in log file).
I din't know how to fix this. Maybe the reason is a locked bootloader?

But any tool operating on EDL mode require the firehose loader and seems like qboot has this built-in

Hallo Moto Users Last few days, it was a nightmare to find some ready and working solution on hardbricked Motorola. After 5 or 6 days finally bootloader screen appeared Just to mention - until one week ago I was just and only Samsung user for last 6-7 years. So I clearly admit I am a n00b regarding other brands/systems. Struggling to recover Moto G6
I had my moto G6 in storage as I had upgraded and no longer needed it till today. I pulled it out and noticed it wouldn't turn on. I figured it was dead and plugged it in when I was promptly greeted with a fastboot menu and logs complaining the hab image couldn't be verified. Tried rebooting a couple times hoping for a fluke and alas, my luck is not good.
So I followed the recommendation on the screen and got the lovely Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant to reprogram my phone. It tried the first time and my phone ended up with a black screen and white LED blinking at 1Hz. After a time the Lenovo tool gave up and errored out. I held the power button for a minute and I was able to get back to the fastboot screen and figured I would just try again.
I tried a second time and it progressed further into the process before it did the same thing again. I am now with a phone that does little more than blink the white LED. But I do see that the CPU is in a EDL mode and enumerates as a COM port. I found this thread for the G6 Plus and was able to get some luck but the blankflash errored out (not surprised as it was for the plus and not the 'regular' G6).

I think the exact blankflash I am looking for might be called: PPS29.118_15_11_16_cid18
The reason I suspect this is because the image that the Lenovo tool was trying to download and install to the phone has a full name of:
ALI_AMZ_PPS29.118_15_11_16_cid18_subsidy_DEFAULT_regulatory_DEFAULT_CFC.xml
Does anyone happen to have any suggestions? Would be cool to get this phone back from the dead, no matter what ROM ends up on it.

Moto G5s Plus (XT1805) in Hardbrick, need help please

I'm new to this Forum and now after 3 days of researching this site (and nearly the whole internet ) for solving this issue
i have to post this, hoping someone can help me.
What it is about?
Next to me lies the Motorola Moto G5s Plus (XT1805) EU Model from my mother.And as i now can say it is Hardbricked, because it will no longer turn on, no fastboot mode, no Recovery mode ...nothing.Just a black screen and no response to any button pushes.All what it is doing: when i plug the USB cable in, whether Power socket or Laptop, the LED in the top left corneris continuous flashing.Also the laptop shows "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" in the "Ports"-Section of the device manager.
What i did so far?
First, as i read, i left the phone untouched and unplugged for 24 hrs. Hoping it will charge when i plug it back in and let it for a hour or so.
After that i tried to switch it on with the powercord plugged in and pushing the power button ->nothing
Then i tried the VOL- + Power Button combo for Fastboot Mode ->nothing
The same two steps with unplugged powercord ->nothing
Then i did further research and after a long time i've finally found a specific Blankflash for this mobile phone ->HEREI downloaded it, connected the phone to the Laptop and started the "blank-flash.bat".Well, it aborted. This is what the Log-File has written:

In prepare for when the Blankflash works i already downloaded an official Firmware for the XT1805 model from ->HERE
Now I'm stuck and don't know what to do next; or as we say in germany: "Ich bin mit meinem Latein am Ende"
