Not completely true.
If you have a P8 lite, you can (first and foremost backup ALL your data) rollback to the first Android version provided with the phone (if I remember well Android 5), use then one of the tons of one-click-root tools and follow what written here https://forum.xda-developers.com/p8...e-method-unlocking-bootloader-t3799294/page12
You can later manage to update again to Android 6 or use a custom ROM
It worked well for me

me it is eric new in you that me member but i use your site. to answer my questions for years i just bought a xiaomi redmi note 10 pro following the death of my exelent Huawei mate 10 pro.
I have also just purchased a huawei watch 3 pro under harmony os.
after having used them for 2 good weeks everything was fine and for 2 days I have been facing a problem of execution in the background, which means that when I close the huawei application it does not want to continue working and suddenly I no longer receive sms and messenger notifications and other s ..

do you think it comes from the sfr overlay

I just got a new Galaxy Tab S8+ (SM-X800) from Samsung.com in the US.
For some reason it got Cellular South (XAR) CSC. I want to change to a European one (ILO is slow, so I want EUX).
I just want to check whether there are any difficulties making the switch from a US to an EU CSC? It's not a phone, and its the same model number, so I think there shouldn't be any. Just want to be sure.
Second question is about the process itself: just get the EUX firmware and flash through ODIN? It will make the change and allow OTAs to continue normally?

That software was so easy!
And it even keeps all data. Perfect.
I will now just wait to get an OTA, and if that works I will also change my phone's CSC which I'm sooo lazy to do because I thought it requires wiping all data.

OTA came right away. Changed on my phone as well. I highly recommend this tool

The phone is beautiful, it has excellent specifications. But when the developers cough up the rest of the world, they will force people to buy other brands. And Realme brand will go down the drain... People prefer to buy a brand where it is not a problem to unlock the bootloader. What good is a perfect phone that I can't have TWRP and root on. Do you want to sell phones!!! This way you will never overtake Xiaomi! Developers, whether from Realme or others, wake up! The world is not only India! But also Europe and the rest of the world. How i unlock bootloader of mi realme gt 2 global? I searching but i think is not possible.

I did the A13 update and all the updates...
For global is not possible to unlock the bootloader. In my opinion we can submit "Please add" in report bug to release this feature for RMX3311(Global). I already did it, lets more people did this, they may be take action, or just support my report.
