Hey there,
in the p7 bootloop thread I told you about that i deleted all (!) in / by twrp File Manager
It even deleted my sd card (argh).
Since then the phone constantly reboots and it's showing a green android logo with silver lens flare and boots up into OS and reboots.
Doesn't matter which OS I flash or fastboot. Even TWRP reboots but Just 2.8.x.x. The only stable one is 2.7.1.0 (!!)
More and detailed information by me and other users here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57536337&postcount=29
This brings to me to the idea to push the original Files of everything by another user into my phone. Maybe it will then work again and help the other's to do so as well!
I need someone who uploads the original Files of a working P7-L10 phone with TWRP with the TWRP FIle Manager.
Im not interested in System and Data Files! So i don't need personal data. Im talking about all the other folders
TWRP -> Advanced -> File Manager -> for example: dev, dsp0, etc, licence, mnvm1:0, mnvm2:0, proc etc.....
I will report my progress then and mabye this will bring the phone to life again. Since the Bootlogo is missing I assume there are missing files even when flashing back system.img recovery.img and so on!
Im reporting my progress then! Your benefit would be the information and a fall back for yourself too!
Otherwise i'm sending it for repair to HUAWEI.
regards,
ManuelHH
By the way.... if you extract the dload with the huawei extractor tools... I get some more files like dsp.img.
But I can't flash them:
fastboot flash dsp dsp.img
sending `dsp´
okay
writing dsp
failed (remote: command not allowed)
finished.
So if I could decompress the other files and but them into my phone by twrp or could flash them otherwise this might help too?
Just another idea.
Otherwise I still hope another user can help by providing his files or some other Guru with another option
Okaay, i decompressed some .img Files and put them back manually for example: system.img... now the huawei bootlogo is up there again!
But I've still got a lot of empty folders like dsp etc mnvm0: and so on and i can't decompress dsp.img and other files. So If someone could please upload everything from a working P7 it would be highly appriciated.... (just copy to sd card, compress and upload). Thanks!
Finally UNBRICK NUBIA Z20 in QDL MODE.
1. Extract Required Files from Original ROM:
abl.elf
xbl.elf xbl
config.elf
tz.mbn
2 Create a folder and paste the Rom files and the two downloaded files. (firehose)
DOWNLOAD:

3 Download an active version of Qfil and follow the video.

<Mod edit: Link removed>
4 Upon completion press the Power, volume down and volume up buttons for 15 seconds.
Voalaaaa.
note when using what qfil turn off the computer wifi.
This apply only if he has flashed a rom via twrp or via fastboot... but with reformated phone , messed up partition table and maybe wrong LUNs .... will not do the trick.

i can see that the programmer for the sdm855 and sdm855+ are the same (the firehose)
justo download that file , and with QFIL from tools -> partition manager , restore the abl.elf xbl.elf xbl_config.elf and tz.mbn from orginal rom!

OK NOW
This looks suspicious! Looks like it's a violation of the GPL, files the size of boot.img and rescue.img are encrypted. The included executable is also obfuscated.

In order to get around being a violation things like this should contain a script that pulls the offending content from ZTE. Failing that links to where these "original" files come from would be an olive branch. As is, it's illegal to distribute these files.
They are published publicly by nubia.

Identified by size. Assuming some form of encryption... A violation of the GPL unless you share the private keys used to construct the image.
Can someone please walk me through this? i accidentally booted with no os.

Unable to find anything in links. Please help
Hi..
I have Realme X with android 10 and i want to root it directly by patching the boot image with magisk and flashing the boot image through fastboot, but its not working my phone boot image is of 64Mb but after patching magisk_patched.img file is of 16Mb only.
Anyone please help me to get through it.
I have flashed patched image once but my phone got bricked and showing boot image destroyed.
I anyone can patch it i can provide boot.img file.
I tried to root this phone, and got bootloop. The screen only showed "Realme", vanished, and showed this again. I can only boot to BOOTLOADER.
I tried Flash Tool. Download the ".ofp" file from google. Didn't work. As it only supports Realme older than RM5P. No use.
Tried to use MSM Tools. Difficult. As it is only supposed to be used by Oppo/Realme service centers and needs passwords. So, MSM is out of the way.
Then, I remember, the easiest thing that can be done is flashing through FASTBOOT with fastboot img files. Sadly, I tried to seach google, in vain. Just found one kind person offered a complete set of files. But it was old. Still in Android 9. How could I revive my phone and update it?
Then I found a thread about TWRP by @BabluS It could flash OZIP files. That's it. So, my plan is :
Download official OTA Ozip file from Realme site (Software update site... Indonesia). The name is like RMX1971EX_11_OTA_xxx.ozip (will show if you click "download"). Put it in external SD.
Flash the BabluS TWRP. Wipe dalvic, cache, data, system. Back to boot bootloader
Flash the fastboot files one by one (and the phone gets the old Realme version.)
- boot.img
- dtbo.img
- system.img
- vbmeta.img
- vendor.img
Update the phone to the current version through TWRP (Click Install. Click Storage (?), choose ext sdcard, find the OZIP file).
Wipe data through TWRP again .... It worked...!
Note:
When unlocking, in-deep-test, one has to wait for 15 minutes. Processing... Please wait... I tried several times, waiting for hours, in vain. Then tried to click "verify". Looked like it was Reviewed already.
Get the fastboot files through this link.
The boot.img contains stock recovery!
Get the BabluS TWRP here.
Error flash:
- "Invalid sparse file format at header magic". Just ignore the error. Wait for 5 minutes or more until is is finished.
Big thanks to @BabluS and @acervenky for your great work ....
good
...Thanks man...
could you please write the flash commands down ?
Cz I don't know the pertition name for dtbo.img file and vbmeta.img file
(<Fastboot flash ??? dtbo.img>)

It is probably the same name
So the command for dtbo.img would be: fastboot flash dtbo dbto.img
same for vbmeta.img
Hi everyone,
While using my Rog Phone 2, it became unresponsive all of a sudden. I struggled to get it to reboot but unfortunately it got a boot loop. I thought I would go into recovery and wipe, but I get the error:
Failed to clear BCB message: failed to open /dev/block/boot/device/by-name/misc: No such file or directory

I have tried almost everything I have read on forums and YouTube but I can't seem to get out of the error. I followed this tutorial [
] which guides you on how you can unbrick your device using EDL. I went through all the steps several times but the error persists.
