Can't seem to find a thread detailing a working GCam for the OP7 Pro.
I was wondering if the Mi 9 GCam would work since that has pretty similar camera hardware
https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/themes/xiaomi-mi9-googlecam-port-t3910034
The thread is pretty updated too.
There are 16 pages here https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7-pro/help/gcam-mod-7-pro-t3930459
As a summary the OnePlus 6/6T Gcam I was using did work fine, "the new lens does not work with the old Gcam"
They seen to have it working completely, all lens but this requires a root.

Hi guys, anyone can mod this gcam 7.1 to properly work with all modes?
It is compatible on Android 10 devices and partially compatible with my P30 pro with EMUI 10
Working features are video (front and back), panorama, photosphere and google lens.
Photo, portrait and night sight are not working though
Hey, it would be good if gvam will work on p30 pro ?
You want to get hdr+ and that's not working on this hardware

I have the p30 pro as well and it sure seems like some of these genious xda guys could make it work. I'm sure we'd all be willing to give $$ to support it! I saw the camerakit on Huawei's development site, so it seems like it's possible?
It's there a version that will start on the p30 Pro that will load XML settings or give access to developer options?

Hello. This is my first thread in XDA sooo... greetings! I'd just like to ask a quick question...
The video stabilization on my installed Gcam doesn't seem to work even though it is enabled in the settings. I tried different configuartions (1080p 60/30 fps, 4k 30/60fps) but still with no signs of stabilization.
The apk I installed is Gcam 7.2.010 Ver. 2.3 by urnyx05.
I was just wondering if there are other apks (for Mi 9T Pro) with working video stabilization or do i need to use Magisk or TWRP to make this work... or this feature doesn't work yet on Gcam ports just like the slowmotion feature.
I tried searching about this but with no luck (at least on Mi 9T Pro forums). That's why I made this thread as a last resort
Answers and suggestions are deeply appreciated!
Welcome to xda mate. I was looking for the same gcam and finally found one. Actually it doesn't work great in 60fps but still better at stabilization. It is the onfire version and here the link: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-onfire/

Thank you for the suggestion, but this port still doesn't seem to work on my phone, but its OK!
I actually found an apk that works for me and its still by urnyx. Apparently he has an updated version which fixes the EIS problem. It's this one: GCam_7.3.018_Urnyx05-v1.5.apk (I cant post links because I'm still a newbie, just search it). So EIS does work, it just depends on the port (and phone? lol), I think. Well that answers my question I guess
I've ported over a version of the Google camera..https://www.cyanogenmods.org/google-camera-oppo-find-x3-pro-gcam/
Google camera 8.1
Below is is an example of the only photos I've managed to take so far. However the Google camera port definitely has a more natural tone. The oppo camera has a more vivid look to it
Have you found a way to support auxiliary lenses ?
I prefer Oppo's colour science over GCam there.
There are a couple of good X3 pro v pixel 5 comparisons out there on YouTube. There is no reason to want the Google cameras.
Part of the joy of android is being able to play around with stuff like this regardless of weather you need it or not, don't you think?
okokok,very thanks
What is the status of GCam port for X3 Pro? Everyone happy using stock camera?
Is this only mod working or we can try many other ports as well?

There's many new builds released like MGC and LMC that work good also without an XML, for MGC you can download the aweme package that can shot with wide lens but have a bug on normal lens, I prefer LMC for normal shot in day light, you can find all simply searching on telegram
Hello
I installed Pixel Experience on my Redmi Note 9 and now I want to try ANX Camera. Is it possible to install ANX Camera? If possible, what steps should I take?
Thank you,
Hi,
Can anybody help me?
I answer to myself. YES, if possible. I have already installed ANX Camera on my Redmi Note 9. No more lags in the shutter, no more lags when moving the phone while using the camera. It is working very well. Well, I haven't been testing the application for a while, but at the moment it works well and now I can use the 48 megapixels and in theory the four sensors. I'll keep testing, but in the short time I've been using the app, I do notice a difference in fluidity against the GCam. I am not saying that the GCam is not good, of course it works well, but at the moment I think ANX Camera works better.

You tell me how you installed it?
So I've purchased mi11 Ultra lately. I hoped to get an excellent camera phone. Waiting for my bootloader to get unlocked and in the meantime was going through all the useful threads. I wanted to jump to A13 using some custom room but I'm bit confused with the camera issues. From what I understand there is no working miui cam for A13 and so I was wondering weather there is a moded gcam that actually works on A13 and is at least as good as miui cam?
I went to A13 and tried a shedload of gcam ports and configs over two weeks on my MI11 Pro.
I ended up going back to an A12 ROM, for the MIUI Camera (EvolutionX by FlowerSea) - much better, more flexible and easy to use with the multiple camera modules.
Also, as it seems to be the quickest and most stable with banking apps, GPay/Wallet and AndroidAuto wireless.
Other people may disagree though.
I liked the HDR and sharpening that GCam would give, but in all honestly the native camera functions and features always seemed to be more consistent. Go with what you feel! Pick the camera that'll give you the best pictures and functions you're looking for.
