What is RootPA

I have been running stock since day one and yet I see on the phone RootPA. Anyone have any idea what this app is and what it does?

It has something to do with the mobicore security system it's supposed to be there.

What do you mean by "it does not work"? What are you trying to use it for? It only works when you install an app that uses the TEE. And it is only needed at install. And the app vendor needs to have a deal with the company (TSM) that is allowed to do provisioning.

idk why this kind spy apps need internet use(For FAKE update purpose,But Already ur firmware will update all of those apks by their new firmware verion,and im not beliving they just update itself,but they update your infos in GOOGLECLOUD

Weather apk location bug

When i try to set up location manually, weather apk gives me error that says that there is no internet connection, but there is and it's working great, so i cant setup location at all. Sure this is not only my problem, I've googled that multiple times before deciding to post here.

This is a known issue on xiaomi forums it should be fixed in next update. I didn't face that problem on global stable but since i use global dev, no more weather!! Which version did you install?

On xiaomi.eu stable 8.1.3.0. same thing...

The proxy server Xiaomi uses to route the request to accuweather is down. The app doesn't work in any version at the moment. Had they used accuweather directly, it would have worked - I installed the accuweather app to test and it's working.

Works now. They fixed it... Thanks everyone anyway

That's a negatory for me.
Still can't update. Wont even locate phone if I try to manually update.

it works fine on 4.00pm but now The app doesn't work again.

I've found this modified apk weather in a xiaomi.eu forum and it worked for me.

This wont install over the Global 8.1.2.0 ROM for some reason.

I've this version as well (8.1.2.0) and I don't have any problem with the weather application

Lots of reports of weather app server coming back online today. Sure enough, working again as of tonight.

Working now again on global dev.

This won't install a new app it just replace the stock one. At first it wasn't working i force closed the weather app and 2-3 minutes later i reopened it and weather was back. Had some hick up (couldn't find server) but most of the time it do the trick.

Any Custom ROM works with Microsoft Intune App?

My Nexus 6 on stock Rom just sucks. I tried switching to custom roms (Oxygen OS) and CyanogenMod, but the ****** Microsoft Intune App doesn't let my device through to access my corporate email (BYOD). Switching back to stock Rom works even though my device is Unlocked but not rooted.
So is there any custom ROM which allows the Intune App to work seamlessly?

You'll probably need to change ro.build.tags to release-keys in build.prop. At least...

I'm running the latest paranoid android on my op3 and using Intune. This works. Lineageos and other roms didn't.

There don't seem to be Nougat roms for Paranoid Android for the Nexus 6. Anyone else aware of any other Nougat based roms for Nexus 6 working fine with the Intune App?

its only a edit to feel like you have an android with 8.1.1 version the real version of this room is 7.1.2

The "feel" comes from the changes done to android itself, not from some string of numbers you can change effortlessly. Also, it's confusing and misleading for some people. So do right by people and put in the correct numbers.

Not everyone. It's not appropriate to assume such things. Here you replied to a user who legitimately though you released an 8.1.1 rom, which you had to explain was not the case.

The latest factory images for supported Pixel and Nexus devices are still on 8.0.0, go check them out. 8.1 is still in preview stage and is only available to OEMs(maybe) and the Beta program users.
Look, It's cool you've put in the effort of theming a rom, but changing the android version string is not theming and plays no part in "the pixel feel", it's best you keep the legit rom version.

Thank you my friend :highfive: No latest google security updates are not included in this rom the rom has hes own security updates from the latest LOS build date also 2017 security updates from the rom creator vl_w only other Google apps and other Google things are included in this rom by me

Oh this is bad :crying:

I installed this ROM over the stock ROM with the updated bootloader and modem. I wiped everything and then flashed this ROM through TWRP. Everything went fine until the bootup. Device booted up but sim was not detected and WiFi isn't working either. Device gets random restarts and get heated too. Please help!

Try LiveBoot from Google Play Store first. If it works, you can remove it then install this
