[Q] CPU adjust Problem

Hi guys!
I'm on iHackers 4.1 using doomkernel v21... I'm really suffering from battery drain these days...
I noticed that the core 0 is only on maximum frequency (2419Mhz) and core 2 jumps to 1728Mhz and down to stopped.
this problem end only when the governor is Powersave ( cant stay on this governor because its so laggy ).
i used too many different governors and I/Os...
the problem still stands.
what to do ?
Did you install any kernel tweak app and active some option? Try factory reset or fresh install rom.

Try app called Wakelock detector, it may help you.

Shutdown Cores?

HI! Does anyone know how to shutdown cpu cores? My CPU is draining my battery since it's always activating the second cpu instead of utilizing the cores on the same cpu chip. Im very familiar with rooting, flashing etc so all suggestions is appreciated.
Do a little search in the Z5 forum, I'm sure you'll find it there...

Overclocking htc one m7

dear modders
i just want to say i overclocked my htc one m7 cpu from 1.7ghz to 2.1 GHZ
with a custom kernel called ElementalX-m7-22.3-Sense
is this save can the phone run this without any stability issue's or shall i downclock it to 1.9
i use M7_Sense7_artmod_10.0 rom Lolipop 5.0.2 with sense 7 cause this is the only one without any bugs like no sound when you got called or sms sound's no boot sounds
i fixed my boot sound anyway on this rom
so my question is wont my phone be fried by this overclock cause i saw in the aroma installer that it can be overclock till 3 GHZ

Overclocking the CPU in any system usually results in 2 main things:
a. Significantly shorter battery life.
b. heating issues.
sometimes (less frequently) you might experience a crash and fc here and there.
So yeah, it won't be all rainbows and butterflies.
PS: you probably won't reap the benefits of your now overclocked CPU without an app like no frills CPU or kernel Aduitor. Your device's performance isn't just about its CPU frequency, there's the min Max frequency your system is allowed to utilize, the CPU governor, and the I/o scheduler..
and
PPS: don't and I repeat DO NOT go anywhere near 3 GHz.
good luck.
I'm runnimg 2.1 Ghz OC for over 2 years without any issues. I would like to note that 2.1 Ghz on Elemental was not too stable for me, so I ran that on 2.0 Ghz. Anyway - i don't have any issues with my kernel, no overheating, battery lasts 100% same as stock frequency, no reboots, everything works as it's ment to work. If you really want to run on that frequency, make sure you set your voltage table to match your CPU clocks. Undervolting is not a good idea on such high clocks, so you might want to raise your voltages for higher frequencies a bit

ok mate
yeah i could raise also min clocks might turn that a noch up
just was wondering if it was possible without any harms
there are now on 384mhz 1 core is always active and 3 others are sleeping aid64 tells me
the temps are now 29 celcuis for 2.1 ghz

btw i removed phone number on call menu cause it's private

Its any chance to make all 8 cores working?

Its any chance to make all 8 cores working? With root and some script will be possible?
They do under heavy loads. A57s pressure the battery so much and heat without cooling if work continuously. I heard A73s work continuously like A53s.
@Oveana cores got disabled on nougat and that's true!! We can't deny this!! Enabling 6 cores by default as in MM would be soo great or leaving a toggle to enable device performance to use 6 cores is a better idea which we CAn expect in future updates!!
Still no solution??
@Pwruser Its verry annoyng ,SONY DO THE WORST work ever and a fraud Maybe devs can modify kernel to make all cores to work
Get back to MM!! That's all u can do for now....Or flash a custom kernel If u r not on warranty!!!
Big cores work like mm

All cores are working with my Sony Z3+ with Nougat .376. By default, only 4 cores run with min frequency, other cores will start running only if there is load, it is for saving battery. You can check with "Kernel Editor" app (rooted only).
flash androplus kernel and enjoy 8cores!
@yxtl there's your answer,
also: having all 8 cores active on max performance lets the device run into thermal limit FAST,
thus ==> lots of throttling, performance goes down, lower than snapdragon 808,
do you REALLY want that ?
Just observe what the big cores do once you raise load on the device ...
And that changes things exactly how ?
Explain ?
Is there a difference in behavior of hotplug ?
(I'm curious)
Thx for answer I run some testes myself ,and A57 cores are not complete disabled ,just need more pressure to work,I asked to sony support and i got same answer

[QUESTION] not all CPU cores are online.

I have noticed that CPU 0 to 4 are always online but CPU 5, 6 and 7 are offline. Infact always offline.
I want to turn them on too. I knw the CPUs are offline to save battery life but I would like to manually turn them on or off.
The kernel adiutor app reverts the settings back to default for some reason. I guess this is the kernel issue. If so, then please suggest a kernel that would allow me to maximize my device performance.
Currently I'm running MIUI pro 9 v7.12.18
With Illusion kernel V3.0 for eUI, MIUI
rooted using magisk latest
No xposed
That's not an kernel issue, that's what big.Little CPU does. The a72 cores are always offline and only works when needed.

Thanks for your reply.
But 3 out of 4 bigger cores in my phone does not turn on even during heavy loads. That's why I asked this question.
