Samsung has recently brought in the White Note to the Indian Market.Does it beats the style and looks of the Black?
Depends on personal preference I guess. I personally liked the white one because it's more stylish and fingerprints are less visible. And if you want to stand out from the crowd then get the white. If you want to be discrete, get the black.

LOL I think having this beast in one's hands makes one "stand out from the crowd" Plus White is too Appleish.
WHITE!!! most of the devices around us are black..go for white..stunin 5.3 beast in white is awesome
Also love my white note, its a beauty beast
After looking at some pics of a white Note recently I liked it so much it made me have some buyers remorse. I hadn't bothered even looking at one before getting the black, thinking naaaah that won't look good but when I saw it I was like damn!!! that is sweet!!! it just looks better in white. Of course color preference is completely subjective so that's just MHO. If I could get my hands on a white one with 32Gb internal to further justify the expense, I'd buy it in a second, long as she was new in the box.
dude definitely go for the white one ...alothough i have a blue (black) one
coz when i got in dec ,the white one was apprx 35k and mine was 30k so 5k just for colour was not worth it

Agreed but I just couldn't justify the 400$ hickup on the white one. Still happy with my black one though don't want people staring when I'm using an already eye catching phone.

LOL, you have a point. Although I kind of disagree with the white Note being Appleish. I had a white HTC trinity a year before iPhones came out so as far as I'm concerned, iPhones are HTCeish.
i've seen a video of it in white and it looks so sexy. I wish I had another month's patience to get white note. but yea as someone else said it all depends on preference
It's actually blue (very dark blue) not black, and white, but that's not a serious matter.
As for me, I always take the black variant when I buy devices with screens. The black bordering the screen makes the video experience 'cleaner' or 'brighter' or something --- can't think of the proper word for it. Something of a more genuine cinematic feel; the same feel demonstrated in a movie house with the lights off.
Of course, that could just be psychological and/or aesthetic but it does go easier on the eyes at any point. I'd try to cite sources but I'm too lazy atm. Of course, when you use the Note in the dark, there would be likely no difference. However, this preference for me in such devices only applies to the screen area. I once had my hands on a Nintendo DS Lite whose interior is black but the outer cover is red but it pleases me all the same. Same thing with the Note whose back is just some very dark blue.
Another thing though, the device looks super cool when the screen is off. Like the front is just a black, shiny slab that comes to life in a push of a button. :3
You gotta admit though, white is very eye-catching. Overkill on the eye-catching factor sometimes too.
My personal opinion - white is more for the female type of users I think. I've hold a galaxy s2 white and although it is very sexy, most people in my surroundings find it more suited for women.
Now, the White Note is very stylish in its white housing there's no doubt about it.....but if you check the streets, you'll notice that most women hold white phones and it looks this color is destined for the lady's market rather than male. The White housing gives the phone a sexy soft appealing look to the overall design. To choose between a black or white, I'll opt for the black at 101%. Just my personal thoughts about this.

I tend to agree. I prefer Black devices or dark brown to any light colored. the whole finger print thing is moot to me as anyone who is concerned about finger prints probably has 50 cases.....LOL I don't use em Like my devices stock and easily pocket fitting.
white or black..
chk out the differnce in specs of black and white.its not just da diff in colour da cpu and gpu is diff .da black has a superior cpu and gpu{cortexa8 1.5 ghz vs snapdragon 1.4ghz}{400mali exynos vs 220 snap.. }

+1
was about to opinion the same. As per color theory black is more suited for better video experience. Haven't come across a theater with white surrounding near the screen.
Black is best. White could be more dirty with the time.
So I can speak from myself saying that black is very good

Not true
My white note has the exynos, I think you will find that the difference in chips is between the european or international ones and the version for the US carriers which are probable going for the snapdragon because of compatability with US LTE
Personally I think my white note looks totally cool, but then I've never worried about what other people think, I just get what I like and to hell with the rest of the world

I've been looking into buying a white N-7000 off ebay but everywhere I look, it's at least $40 more than the black one? I'm seeing black ones for ~$575 and white ones for ~$615.
Because it's way cooler, and because they can!!!

Because what you perceive as white, isn't really white. In the reflective light scheme, What we "think" is white, really isn't white. It's reflecting ALL colors. If an object is red, it reflects red, and absorbs all other colors. Therefore, to make a white object appear white, they have to have a special paint that will reflect the entire visible spectrum of light, not an easy task. The covers you see in other colors except black, actually started off as white, but failed the test, which is why you see so many other colors available. It isn't easy mixing a color to plastic, to get it to reflect white. Some end up as black, blue, pink, green because they didn't come out right in the manufacturing process.
I really need to lay off the Mt. Dew....you think?

Because in this day and age people can't figure out that you can buy a $10 white cover and make a device whatever color you want.
Black is powerful. In my opinion, white is cheap.

Nice explanation. Its a fair one. However there are more possibilities:
Price is dependant of supply and demand, if demand is higher they can increase price. This is classic economic thinking.
Or they want to tap into more revenue by offering exclusitivity. Create a wanna have because less people have it because its more expensive. Make it special by feauture/price lol.
Or back to supply demand theory, demand x + price y delivers revenue. If you want to keep that and increase revenue, cater to lower demand but higher price. Or cater to even higher volume at lower price. This last is not that attractive psychology wise for the same product model. I think its called catching the market surplus.
Or copy the path Iphone went, first black edition, then stimulate demand with white edition. Probably for reasons in previous paragraph

Is It?
Here in India both cost the same. Demographic Marketing I guess?
It depends. Here in Poland the black model is more expensive. White models are cheaper and generally very easy to buy cause there's always a lot of white ones on online auctions etc.
Demographic i guess, people here seem not to like white phones. And it happens with other models too ( Galaxy S2 white model is almost 1/4 cheaper )
i agree.....white rules! ......got white

I'm looking at upgrading my 2013 X to the 2014 model because of today's great deal, but am unsure what color accent I should get. I want it it to match the metallic border on the phone. A lot of pictures I've seen show the border as a metallic silver, so you would think the silver accent would be a good match. However, on the Moto Maker site the border looks a bit darker, and in their mockup the dark grey (black) accent looked best.
For those of you who have either of these accents colors in real life, which do you think matches the border better?
There are two shades of the metallic borders, if you take a closer look; a light silver and a standard grey one. You can match them by your choice pretty much! Take a look at these: http://www.reddit.com/r/MotoX/comments/2mmjh1/the_motomaker_mega_thread_a_real_world_compendium/.

Ah, I was not aware that there were 2 colors, and that they were affected by the color of the front faceplate. Pity, as I wanted a black face but liked the lighter metallic border. Oh well, black face w/ dark grey border and trim it is, then. Thanks!
Cast your vote.
You might have more than one favorite, but vote for the one you are actually getting.
PS: Attached pic only indicative. Colors might vary in different real life images.
I'm still not sure if i will get the pixel 2 xl or mate 10 pro but if i go for mate 10 pro than titanium grey.
I just shortly checked out the Mate 10 Occidental black and Mocha brown at Huawei store. Until then i was preferring the Mocha brown but in real life its much harder to pick a favorite from these two. The mocha brown looks distinct and eye catchy in the back with a wide array of colors reflecting at different angles while still looking premium and business class without getting too much funky. However on the front, i was feeling it wasn't dark enough for my taste and sometimes felt more like a typical gold color phone we always seen and not the bronzish mocha brown.
The front of the Occidental black instead looked quite dope camouflaging the whole bezels with the front fingerprint and screen (when turned off). The back looked quite nice as well but its not the type of color you can quickly distinguish from a distant (from the color of Note 8 for example) and get noticed.
Before I recieved the mocha brown as press unit, I was hoping for the blue one, as i really loved the dazzling blue P10.
But I really like the mocha brown now! Wouldn't trade it for a diff color!

Yes I agree, I have the mocha brown too
Black. Still waiting for delivery argh. XD
Mate 10 (non pro) Black here.
In Europe where can I find the non pro version?
Midnight Blue Mate 10 pro and Champagne Gold Mate 10

Mocha...
I got the champagne gold (but it looks silver to my eyes...)
I have Mocha Brown, and I had doubts before, but am happy with it. Thought about titanium, but I think Mocha gives better mood, and I use this superphone with included transparent cover, so back is not so shiny with case.
Blue.. Nice.

hi .which colour should i go here in mate 10 pro stil got stuck seems the colour so confusing when i check them in webs
I can't decide whether to get the Deep Sea Blue Color or Midnight Black? I love both colours the most among other ones available.
Most of the time I will be using a Rugged "Clear Back" Case of Tech21 or Spigen or Otterbox so that I will get good drop protection without sacrificing the phone's elegant feel. And sometimes I wont be using a case at all.
I really like the Deep Sea Blue colour because in different lighting conditions the phone appears exceptionally sleek in every way.
Well on a side note if I use a Black Case, then my device visually becomes a black phone.
But the Midnight Black phone might be prone to a lot of fingerprints whereas the Deep Sea Blue one may not show that much.
However, the Midnight Black with its black almost bezel-less front, black rear and especially black "side frames" makes the phone like a complete screen on the palm of the hand.
But still can't decide which colour to get they're both very gorgeous looking devices. I love them both, but I have to go with one color that stands out the most.
And which phone will look more future-proof, since I am getting the 256GB Internal Flash Memory (256GB ROM) one from Hong Kong and are very expensive (for me) a bit over $1180 USD and I will be using this phone for a couple of years.
I've got the 256Gb dual SIM from China/Hong Kong in blue and it is stunning! I am also using the Samsung clear view stand case in blue ... it looks great and is a superb phone! I'm not going to root as I paid £20 for the full advert removal via Disconnect Pro & previously the main reason for rooting was advert removal!

I got the black after a lot of deliberation. Happy as larry [emoji847][emoji847]. The black does look all the things you mentioned and the screen just stands out a hell of a lot. I use a black case on it too.

black.
I'm an old person, trust me on this, live a little because it's a short ride. If the blue is talking to you, buy it and never look back.
Buy the blue. If you hate it, throw it in a black case and move on. Best of both worlds!
Get the Blue. They always have a black one it's to common. I have the gray one and I love it. I would have got the blue one if they had it at the time. Also the black one has no contrast to the sides. If the sides were chrome like on the gray one it would be cool.
...
Maple Gold is best 4 me!
Get the black one! Looks powerful sleek and elegant, I am using an aluminium frame with cristal back case and looks formidable!!
Many phones are available in black but very few in this shade of blue. Get the blue one, its more unique and it is definitely a stunning color for the Note 8. Chances are you wont regret it but if you do get tired of the color, put a solid color case on it.
