You can't. Either use Pro Mode or set it to 40 MP.

While the Honor 10 Lite is advertised as having a 13MP main camera, I noticed that while in default photo mode the camera is limited to 8MP only. The only way to enable 13MP is to switch to Pro Mode while all other modes max out at 8.
Is this a bug or an intentional limitation?

If you disable AI mode on top right, you will be able to choose 13mp in settings, I don't know why they put this limitation
Is it possible to have the camera preview while set to picture mode to be previewed at 60 fps? I currently have the video mode set to 60 fps and the switch between it and going back to picture mode is just jarring.
Just received my new P30 Pro NE.
But I just couldn't see where to change camera resolution, except in Pro mode where you can choose 40 MP. I can only see option to change aspect ratio in all other modes.
Any ideas please?

They make it better by adding "High resolution" in "Others" tab...

I see there's a Pro mode in the camera app but it appears that's only for photos.
Is there a way to set manual focus in the video mode?
The option for adjusting rear camera photo is missing in the default camera app. The highest setting reported from other camera app is 4096x3072. Any idea? Stock x30 Pro. Thank you.

there is not, only for front cam, depends on the mode and the ratio 4:3 is 200Mpx at ultra res mode for example
There is "Ultra-res" mode where you can shoot with 200MP. It is slow. I hope it will become better after some update.
The 50MP mode is a little tricky to find - it is called "Smart high resolution" in the setting of the Photo mode. It is turned on when there is "enough" light for it and you don't have any control over that mode.

Thx all, I really missed out the Ultra Res mode. The interface is kind of counterintuitive, especially the drop down menu, I'd call it a hidden feature.
