You need to disable package called hiya
you can disable it by edit csc features

Hey!
I'm new at this, and I just got my LGO2X today. The question I have is this:
Can I, without problems, remove following apps:
- Facebook, Twitter and MySpace for LG?
- Preinstalled apps?
- Car Home?
- RemoteCall?
- SIM Toolkit?
Yeah... but i would recommend just freezing them.
And freezing them means what? And how do I do that?

you may want to check the other threads ... its all there. The app you search is the SNS.apk
Is it possible to freeze or disable so that the icon for alarm/clock and call log disappears but can be used?
I think it's stupid to have those icons that can be launch via the app "Clock" and "Phone" instead.

If you use LauncherPro then you can go to Preferences > General Settings > Hidden Apps
By that you still have the app's installed but they won't take up space in the drawer.

Yeah, I know but I'm not a fan of LauncherPro. I want to use LG Home, think that looks nice

IT WORKS! THANK YOU, thank you so much! Ugh, this was making me crazy. My OCD and me thank you.
It works on KK!
I tried this in my Xperia E3 D2202 and the notification of activated data disappeared.

I'm confused by this setting. It appears whenever I install a new app or update existing ones.
(1) what does it do?
(2) when is it disabled? Slider to the left on right?
(3) where else in the settings can you find this?
Anyone? It's really bugging me!
Ive only seen it in permission settings on custom roms or the app ops app. Should be slider to left to turn off auto run. Are you using custom rom or have permission manager installed?

I'm still pure stock, SM-N9200. Only modification I've done is disable a bunch of stuff using Package Disabler Pro!
This is a marshmallow feature that's already been incorporated in the note 5... It gives you full control on all app permissions and the ability to prevent auto start at boot or on syncing... For example, if you don't want Facebook to keep syncing whenever you switch the WiFi on and want it to update/ sync only when you open the app... You can do it now

how come this feature is only available in the chinese note5?! on my n920i there is no such option... anyone knows how to access it?
I was using the settings search and happened upon the "Mobile data only apps" auto complete suggestion. Problem is, when I click on the settings link I can't find that option and it doesn't highlight a submenu like it does for all other settings directed from search.
Anybody else have any luck?
I think that just means you don't have any and if you did that's where you would be able to access them

The setting summary says that you can set the apps to use mobile only data. I'm not sure if this is a default Google setting that Samsung improperly removed or if I have to turn on another setting to access that menu.

I'm not sure what it was, but I've started to get events placed on my calendar for some random casino event, with random times for 5 days this week. I went and removed it form my calendar and it just popped up again and placed itself on there. I'm sure there is some app that I've downloaded that is doing this, but is there any app on the store that I can use to monitor what is running and potentially figure out what is doing this? Thanks!

I had the same thing, it turned out that through the settings in the google calendar, strangers can paste their events into it. You need to change the settings and everything will be ok.
