The international version has the better camera updates. Also, I think the TMO version of 9.5.7 is more like the 9.5.5 version of the international version. So I think there might be one more camera update after that. Once it gets that I'll probably switch back to the TMO version.
Switched to international from TMobile for faster updates, and just a more "pure" OnePlus experience.

Hello xda. What are main cons of 920S version ?
Phone works fine in my home region, one thing that bothers me is would i be able to flash all variety of custom ROMs (from here) aside with global versions ?
For example, in [8/27 ERv13.7 FULL] TEKXodus ULTRA HYBRID thread (because it's one of the mos tpoopular ) there is no S-version support. So i won't be able to flash it on 920S, right ?
Also, what are the chances NOT to get the upcoming nougat update (because of korean version) ?
I'm a happy owner of N920s and would surely buy a Note 8 from the same provider.
I was using a beta version of ROM for N920K in the past
Currently I am using the beta version of Nougat ROM fo4 N920c.
And I believe that there is NO chance that it would NOT get Nougat update.
me too. Im happy with my device. There is code that access all network. 920s has the most powerful and rapid LTE bands. I Can get speed equally to Wi-Fi with full signals in region that international moderl never past 3 lines and average speed. Also I had custom Rom and kernel such Minotaurus and Infinity kernel. Work quite good. If you setup properly you can get excelent result.

Hi folks! If you're on T-Mobile and run Nougat 7.0, can you tell me how your device perform? It seems that 7.0 wasn't tested by T-Mobile so I'm bit concerned about issues once I make the jump. Please let me know. Thank you

I'm on t-mobile and have used all the lastest img from google web site without an issue.
Currently I'm on Dark rom 8/27 build with the latest radio 05.45R and still havent had an issue. you should be good to go if you update with factory img.

Did you get the OTA update or did you flash it? Also, how's your connectivity? I had bad experience in the past after updating. Thanks!
I'm on 7.1.2 Pure Nexus (N6) and just made the jump from Sprint today. My number was ported by T-Mobile within 2 hours and the service is MUCH better. As a bonus, I can now call and use data simultaneously. Not possible on Sprint.
I've been a sprint customer since the early 1990s. That just goes to show how stupid I am ?
7.0 (Build NBD92G) is the current T-mobile supported build (but they sure don't say that anywhere on their website). T-mobile pushed that build several months ago to users on stock devices. I figure T-mobile has EOLed the Nexus 6 6 months before Google did, so plan to side-load the final 7.1 build when it drops next month.

I just bought a new unlocked Nexus 6 from Amazon. I would not have intentionally updated past the OS officially supported by T-Mobile, but during the setup, I accidentally upgraded it to Nougat 7.1.1. So far it is working great. This is the first Google phone I have ever used, and I like not having all the Samsung apps that I never use. It may be my imagination, but it seems to be running better than the Note 4 I was using.

This could be because Samsung has their own custom ui overlay "touchwiz" its been known to cause lag especially when the device is older and the software is back ported.
T-mo users, have you tried the latest 7.1.1? Since we just got the last update, I'm about to side-load. Any known issues on T-mo? I assume N6F27M is the one to go with?
Hello my p20 pro current version is the CLT-L09 8.1.0.131 (C782). It is single sim and based in Europe. I was told that I could download Huawei firmware finder on playstore and see if there's any update for me.
So the newer ones that are out are .132 and .133 but it was shown that my emui version is not supported. Is it still possible for me to manually update my phone? And the update is 3gb big. Why does it take so much space?
As far as I know the latest version is something like .152 but only available for dual SIM phones if I'm not mistaken. Man.. I really want to latest version because ppl say it's much smoother than the older versions. Does anyone know what is in the .133 version? Are there .134-149 or is it just a leap from .133 to 1.51?
error you are getting is that app isn't compatible for p20 series yet, so that means if you try to run a update from app it would mostlikely fail, since of compatible issues.
You can flash newer copy but it could affect on something i think idk exactly what atm.
Saw that there was a beta version of Samsung Experience 10 based on Android P for the Snapdragon version of the phone, but nothing yet on the Exynos version. does anybody have an idea if it will become available, and if so, when?

isn't this only for the Snapdragon version of the phone? it even says that the ones with Exynos have to wait
Nothing official on when Exynos Pie will be out... maybe soon.
I picked up an open box return S20FE recently. I immediately updated the software, and now wondering if I made a mistake.
It seems I would have been better off staying on 11 if I wanted to root.
Thoughts?
Thanks!
(btw, love this phone, really underrated IMHO)
Probably. A lot have rolled back from 12. That may be an option if the bootloader wasn't updated too.
Personally I stayed with Android 9 and 10 on my N10+'s, I prefer Pie.

on a snapdragon version of the FE you should be able to flash the last 2 or 3 builds of OneUI 3.1 as the bootloader version number is still the same as now.
