I have recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed official twrp for one plus 3t (android pie) and have flashed magisk... I have also installed many modules in magisk which I think can be a problem but I can't remove them because they run my EdXposed framework and a lot of things which I use on a daily basis...
The main Problem >>
I can't copy my custom bootanimation.zip directly to system/media/ via root explorer and ES Explorer too...
I tried pushing it via ADB hola it got pushed ?? but no animation stock >>ANDROID<< animation, I looked at system/media/ folder and check the properties and found that size is 0.00 B
I then created a twrp flashable zip and yo amigo it got successfully flashed but still stock ANDROID animation again I checked for the size and it's still 0.00 B...
I have deleted the previous file before flashing twrp so I don't need that advice or something like that I think my system partition has been allotted a particular size due to which this all is happening... Can anybody help me here?? ??

If someone has a simple tutorial or program to recommend let me know! There was a tutorial thread on here but was too confusing for me
Id really like this for a bootscreen. I am aware its more wide than it is tall but was wondering if it could be cropped inwards instead of stretched

anyone? id really appreciate it
download a bootanimation.zip (if its flashable the bootanimation.zip will be inside the flashable zip) and look at desc.txt and the images.
you need to create you animation in images the same size as the heros... There will need to be a non repeating section (for startup) and a looping section while the boot finishes/stops displaying.
one you have you zip use adb to push it to /system/media/ (differnt location on pre 2.1 ROMs) or create another flashable zip.
there are loads of tutorials on this and on how to make a flashable zip have a look around, just make sure you use the correct size for the Hero.
Good luck.

- No make reboot!
- In USB mode or with Wondershare: Copy the "bootanimation.zip" on your SDCard

Now why won't mine work, is there a file size limit?
Hey guys,
here is my OnePlus One Bootanimation. It's created to work in combination with the attached fastboot logo. So there is no visible transition betweet fastboot-logo and the animation when you power on your one.

How to install:
WARNING: Although I tested this on my own device, I hold absolutely no responibility if something goes wrong or your phone is bricked after this procedure.
The setup is a little bit complicated because there are two different installation procedures for the fastboot-logo and the bootanimation.zip.
1. At first we replace the fastboot-logo. To do this, please follow this tutorial, while using my attached images for the files in the input-folder of the tool. If all the steps worked, you can see a new logo at startup.
2. The second point is the bootanimation.zip. It is located under system/media/. Please backup the original one, in case that the new one doesn't work. Now copy the new one (download below) into this folder, while using a explorer for android with root permissions. (Make shure the permissions of the ZIP are set to -rw-r--r-- otherwise there will be a fallback android bootanimation)
Now you should have a new and nice smooth boot-animation.
Have Fun!
I ported this mod over from another device. See original thread here.

Made TWRP flashable zips to give you the option of using stock icons or the icons I made that will be featured in the ROM I'm going release soon. You will also notice I changed some strings related to the power menu and put reboot above airplane mode. (If you would like the original strings let me know and I'll post it as well.)

Instructions:
This is for deodex ROMs only at this time. Make a backup first! Install zip through TWRP. Tested on TWRP 3.0.
If you have trouble with it installing through TWRP, you can always extract out the two files and manually overwrite your originals with a root file explorer. Make sure you change your permissions to 0644.
This should work on all of the 4.4.2 stock-based ROMs for the 210/210r such as JASBR, NoleKat, or any of the other stock based ROMs.

Hi !
I have recently decided to root my Samsung Galaxy s7 and followed a couple of tutorials on internet. But now I have a problem. I installed via twrp magisk 12.0 and Samsung antiroot removal and... my phone isn't root at the moment. I didn't had super su installed and hadn't any permission granted... someone could help me to solve my problem ? Thank you very much ! (I run 7.0)
Did you also install the Magisk Manager? You'll find a link to download it in the release thread.
Yes I did
But when I open it says that I have the last version but nothing else
Recovery log from the installation and a Magisk log, please. The recovery log you can save after flashing, go to Advanced - Copy log. The Magisk log you can find in /cache when you're in TWRP.
Attach the two files to your post.

No... You haven't installed the Magisk Manager from the release thread. That's v5+ of the Manager and it doesn't work with Magisk v12. Uninstall and install the correct Manager.
