Hello,
Has anybody noticed a little dust under rear camera glass?
In my Z3C it is visible in sunlight, you have to look from the angle. There are no problems with images taken by camera, but phone is quite new (not even 2 weeks) and while it is dustproof I think it shouldn't have any kind of dust in this place...
The silver ring around me rear camera lense seems to be loose. Has anyone else had this issue? Do you think it will affect the waterproof-ness of the device?
mine isn't loose.
hi
My Z1 camera lens cover seems to have a lot of scratches, his is very bad effect on the quality of the captured images
can i remove it or it is necessary to protect camera?
Guys, I thought our lens was made of glass and tried to melt the scratched coating, the lens was made of plastic, I'm about to buy a new lens, I want to know if I damaged the underlying lenses, the ones inside the camera module, to know if I must buy a new camera module altogether or just the exterior lens

You know, you could also take a pic with another phone or camera and show us the damage so that we can get an clear idea of what you mean.....
In any case I assume you burned the glass that is attached to the back cover it is basically a protector for the cameras actual lens.
Here you can get the back cover that comes with the glass you destoryed.
So I managed to cracked the glass cover over the lens but replaced it with a new aftermarket glass cover. The camera still functions but it doesn't focus on anything up close. Any idea what's going on with it and any suggestions on how to fix it?
I guess I would search youtube for videos where that glass was replaced and see if they have any comments...
