S10 G9730 Int snapdragon - turn off emergency alerts?? - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

On this variant g9730 it appears that emergency alerts cannot be turned off. The option to disable them is not available in the usual place in messages and the sound and vibrate options for emergency alerts are permanently inaccessible and fixed to on.
Any ideas how to turn them off other than turning off notifications completely for the samsung messages app?
I was in the car the other day with family and this high pitched warning noise basically scared us all to death. So yes I want to turn it off.
Thanks.

[Q] (Q) How to Sustain Silent Mode for Galaxy S

I found that my Galaxy S cannot sustain in Silent or Vibrate Mode whatever I set. I set the phone to Silent mode during my working time but the phone will enable back the sound after I make a call or answering a call.
I tried to use "Setting Profile" software also same.
Is that anywhere to set the phone to permenent Silent Mode until I manual turn on the sound?

[Q] - Incoming call volume lowering after last update

Hey all,
I have a problem with my HTC One (M7) - after the last Android update it started to act funky. By default all my volumes (call, notification etc.) are set to maximum, then I receive a call, phone rings at set volume and after the call, the call volume lowers by itself to less than 1/3 of the original value. I have missed quite a few calls because of this and cant find a solution Has anyone else encountered this? If so, can you provide some info for getting rid of this problem? Thanks in advance
do you have "pocket mode" or "quiet ring on pickup" enabled in the sound settings?
I have pocket mode enabled and quiet ring on pickup disabled - but I dont think that is the case. Because this happens even when my phone is lying on the table display side up or even standing up leaning on books or whatever

Notifications & Vibration

Hopefully I'm just missing something, but possibly this is just how the s6 is.
I'm coming from an HTC One m8. One thing I liked is when i put the volume down all the way and onto vibrate, the notifications would all vibrate - and if i brought the volume back up and vibrate turned off they no longer vibrated... seems sort of simple.
But the s6 doesn't appear to be handling them this way. As far as I can tell if I want a notification to vibrate I need to go into every app (twitter, messenger, gmail. exchange email, calendar, etc) and turn on notification vibration there individually, at which time they will vibrate regardless of the volume setting. If they are turned off, then they will not vibrate at all regardless of the "global" vibrate setting.
Is there an easy way to enable vibration on all notifications and then easily turn back off?

How to turn off vibrate

Ever since Lollipop I have been frustrated with the lack of ability to turn off the phone's vibrate easily. I used to just set my phone to silent mode all the time (in fact, all day at work). Now my phone is probably louder than it would be otherwise simply because it's vibrating my whole freaking desk every time a notification comes across. I tried using tasker to just lower the volumes but you still can't turn off the vibrate. How in the world can I get this phone to simply show the notifications on the screen (or my Moto 360) without sound and without vibrating?
Also just to add, if I set my priority to None, it will be silent and still show the notifications on the screen, but then they won't show on my Moto 360. Ugh.
For 360-only notifications: Android Wear app -> Settings -> Mute phone alerts & calls
This way, your phone will be silent and your 360 will function as normal. However, this won't stop your 360 from vibrating.

All phone speaker sounds turn off without warning

I've been having an issue with my phone's sounds. The ringer and notifications go mute without warning. When I go to Settings > Sounds, it shows the volumes turned up to max on all of them, but nothing comes through. It's becoming a real problem for text messages.
Do Not Disturb is not turned on. Rebooting the phone doesn't seem to help either. And when I do reboot, the traditional Hello Moto is completely silent.
I can make calls without any issue. And It does ring through bluetooth devices, just not on the phone itself.
I'm on a model XT1925-6 which is rooted and running PIE. My carrier is Sprint. If you have any ideas, I'm all ears!
Thanks!!!
