Hi,
I have a Joying head unit , JY-UO138N4G with the latest June firmware . I'm having a problem with the head unit rebooting after 5 minutes of being connected . All is fine when i connect my Phone and android auto kicks in , but then after driving for around 5 min while using android auto navigation , android auto disconnects and right after the head unit reboots.

Hi guys!
I have a Nexus 5 and a Golf Sportwagen 2016 with android auto and it works great! But there's a problem.
When I disconnect my phone after I used android auto, it won't reconnect automaticly (even after the car stopped and restarted) with the bluetooth. The radio sends this message : Do you want to etablish connection with Nexus 5?
If I say YES, it tries to connect to the nexus 5 but need (again) to confirm the passcode on the cellphone. It is very anoying! So each time I use android auto, I have to re-pair my Nexus 5. Do you know why?
Thanks for helping me!

Mine had an odd hidden permission when I first set mine up earlier this week, add it as a trusted device and this should solve the re-auth every time!
I have a Seat Ibiza 2016 with built-in head unit (VW Full Link).
When I am using Android Auto, the infotainment system restarts from time to time.
The frequency of the restarts increase if I am listening music on Spotify or if I am going fast (faster updates on the Google Maps screen).
Usually, the music stutters first and after a while, the infotainment system restarts.
I tried using different phones and cables (Google Pixel with Android N and Samsung Galaxy Edge with Android M), testing with different versions of Android Auto and getting the infotainment system updated, but no avail, the issue still persists.
Do you know a solution for this issue?

Try updating the infotaiment, there are some firmware w w w. club seat leon . net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=118140&start=600#p1928908 It's a spanish forum
I strongly recommend you do NOT upgrade the Infotainment system.
It is very risky and you might end up not having your car for many months, and pay a bill of over 1,300 euro if you have any issue and need to take the car back to SEAT.
In my particular case, I updated mine recently and I had problems with the ACC/Front Assist. In the end they have had to replace the hardware of the unit 5F (infotainment) because the new firmware was causing issues.
The new firmwares are not "supported" by SEAT and if there are any infotainment system problems they will replace it altogether and you'll have to pay for the hardware, and 10+ hours of labour.
Hey, do you guys get Android Auto to work fine on a car? I tried it recently with VW Passat and Opel Insignia (both 2017 models) It didn't connect to Passat, and was hanging every 2-5 minutes in Insignia. When it hung, it still worked on the phone, but the interface on the car got frozen and unresponsive.

i recommend to take to service center
cause android auto is limited and it s not easy like phones to flash another firmware and etc
:good:
What do you mean by Android auto being limited? I am talking about the phone piece since it's quite clearly some issue with the phone - the same cars work fine with my girlfriend's Samsung
Hi all,
Pixel 4a | Android 12 | 2022 Hyundai Tucson | Connected via USB
I want AA to automatically start in the Head Unit, without pressing AA in the Head Unit Menu., and someone suggested I enable the 'Request Video Focus on Start' option in the Dev Settings. I did this and the first time I tried it and only intermittently since. So it is working sometimes and I have not been able to work out what determines if it works or not.
Someone else suggested I enable 'Start Android Auto Automatically' in Settings but that option is not present even though I have the latest version of AA.
Any ideas appreciated.
TIA
Just noticed that AA does automatically start in the head unit the first time I plug it in at the start of the day. For the rest of the day I have to press AA on the head unit for it to start.
Why then does it start automatically first thing in the morning and not the rest of the day?
EDIT: Just worked out that the AA app is not stopping as soon as I disconnect from the car. If I go into my phone settings and "force stop" AA it will automatically start up in the head unit the next time I connect. Seems AA is killing itself on the phone if not used for a period of time, hence why it works first time I use it every day.
Hi all,
I have an android tablet with headunit reloaded. Got this off Alexpress for my car. Up until recently it was working perfectly without issues. However I'm not sure what happened as when I connect the cable to the phone it launches android auto but immediately switches to the radio in the car.
Any ideas on what could it be ? The unit is running on android 10.
Regards
