Planning on buying this phone tommorow, have a question.

Hi all,
So I'm about to buy this phone and really hyped to start flashing.but some of things I am not at all sure of .so my questions are:
1.only the China version is available in my country right now,can I flash xaomi eu or the global rom in this varient?
2.is the China version is going to be the main varient for ROMs/kernels/mods?
3.what kind of Dev support can I expect? Im currently using the redmi note 4 pro (mido).can I expect ROMs plentiful as mido?
If u can answer,it would be really helpful.custom ROM support are what I look for buying a phone.so it's big deal for me.
Thanks ?
1. Yes you can flash eu rom, global not available yet, need to unlock bootloader.
2. Probably there will be both variant support as they use same hardware.
3.when global variant comes out there should plenty roms

Where to buy this phone

Hello, i am wondering where to buy this phone, because in the official redmagic website costs 479 but i found one on tradingshenzen for 417.
The only "but" is that the one on tradingshenzhen is the chinese phone with a global rom, while the other one is officially for Europe.
Is the European rom different from global rom? I don't know if i should take it for less being chinese or just grab it from their website.
Thanks in advance!

There's the Chinese rom, and then there's the NA/EU Global rom.

How do you differentiate the Chinese ROM and Global ROM (NA/EU)?
I ordered one from their website when it first launched and I am located at SEA, specifically Singapore. My red magic 3 build number is NX629J_ENCommon_V2.10
So tell me, how do you know which NA/EU unit that I have based on that build number ?
Thank you

EEA vs global rom

Hi all,
I just ordered the mi 9t pro, and i wondet what is the best rom for it. The EEA or global rom?
I live in France
Thank you
Miui.eu for anyone in the world. It cuts out all of the bloat and a lot of Chinese specific apps as well as adverts.

It's not obvious if you're asking the difference between official MIUI and xiaomi.eu, or wanting the answer to the original question, so I'll answer both.
If you plan on sticking with stock MIUI, then stay with EEA, if you buy a European phone. There is no noticeable difference between global and EEA, so best and easiest to stick with the original ROM of the phone.
Xiaomi.eu ROMs are a custom ROM based on Chinese MIUI. They take the stock ROM and remove all bloatware and Chinese specific apps and anything that is not needed and safe to remove. They add dozens of language translations, to make it global, then add a few of their own tweaks and customisations.
They have been around doing this for almost as long as MIUI has existed, so they certainly know what they're doing.
I will have a global version rom, do you think it's good idea to flash the EEA rom?

If it's a global phone stick with the global ROM. If it's a European phone stick with EEA.
