I reflashed stock after a TWRP backup sent me into a bootloop and now my phone can't recognize the SIM or connect to Wifi. Can somebody please help?
Edit: I'm not sure why this worked, but I fixed this by trying to flash the Havoc custom ROM. The ROM wouldn't boot, but when I reflashed stock afterwards, the problem was fixed.
was your imei intact before you reflashed back to stock

I'm not sure if you're referring to when I reflashed stock and had problems or when I reflashed stock after trying to flash Havoc and fixed it. I can't answer either way because both times I reflashed I was stuck in a bootloop, so I couldn't check the IMEI.
hey guys i got stuck in the same problem but after flashing an android one stock rom i got back working my wifi and sim card, but now i'm stuck on this dead rom, if i try to flash another stock rom again ihte same issue happens, if i try custom doesn't boot, so i don't have a clue of what to do can someone give me some tip about it?

Since everything works when you have the Android One ROM installed, try backing up the EFS with that ROM installed and restoring on the ROM you want to use.
No wifi after flashing ROM
I had the same thing happen after flashing a ROM. In my case, it was a repeatable error. I reflashed the modem partition from the stock modem after flashing the custom ROM and everything started working again.

please help..also my nandroid backup is not working =X
Have you tried fully wiping and installing the rom?
Also, that's a nightly CyanogenMod rom. What did you do when you tried to install it?
Hey guys! First of all-sorry for being one of those people who post a question on thier first post.
I've been happily using TEAMHACKSUNG's ICS Build 15 for a couple of months with zero problem.
Restarted the phone a few hours ago in Recovery mode and cleared Cache+Dlavik Cache and after that, the phone couldn't boot. The Samsung screen shows first, then the CYANOGEN MOD screen, and Smasung again..in a loop.
Tried getting to Recovery mode, and nothing...same problem..
Download mode worked.
Please help me fix this situation. Hopfully without a full system wipe...\=
Thanks in advance! [=
Please help....I'm smartphone-less \=

I've flashed the stock CM7 Kernel and know I can get to recovery.
unfortunately, I don't have the rom's zip file on the internal card to flash it. I've managed to put the rom on the external sd card, but as it seems, there is no way to flash it through the external card.
I did a backup of my system thru CWM [don't have another one]. Thought of maybe flashing stock GB in odin, then CM7, then Teamhacksung's build 15, and then restore the backup I've just did.
Will it work or maybe there's a better idea?
Thanks!
Flash stock rom via Odin and the vf root

I've flashed CM9 build 15 through all the instructions, with a couple of wipes in between...
Then, restored the nandroid backup and when all done-a weird colorful stripes appeared and nothing. So I installed Build 15 again and the phone booted!
Only problem now is for some reason, Messages aren't working, aswell as Facebook. And all my contacts gone [not a problem, but still-they were supposed to restore after the nandroid..]
Did I do something wrong? Can I fix the messages problem somehow?
Thanks in advance!

Dude, download it http://ics.samsung-updates.com/trouble/FixRecovery.tar.md5 and flash it via odin at PDA , than go to recovery snd flash kernel again. And remember if u making a wipe at ics base rom, flash again kernel, its normal..

I've already managed to restore my rom with the nandroid backup. It's the messages that aren't working...
Well, I think I'll backup all of my stuff and try the Onecosmics rom...

No matter what rom I install I get stuck at the boot screen logo until I force the phone to shut down. Previously any rom I installed worked but after installing vyper rom a while back I decided to update the rom. When I tried flashing the rom it would flash normally then when I would reboot it gets stuck at the boot logo. I have no idea what to do anymore, I'm out of ideas I've tried wiping everything and just flashing the rom that didn't work, aswell as trying to side load it and adb flahing it. not working. Any help will be appreciated.
Did you flash viper Rom or viperone Rom. I was going to say that it sounds like you may have selected wrong version in Aroma of Viperone and flashed the GSM version.

hello
yesterday i was trying to root my phone via boot.img patch method of magisk and i flashed patched boot.img (patched by magisk) via twrp via flash image option.i know that not the right way to flash it but there was the option so i used it and i brock my phones baseband completely.
I've flashed many stock and custom roms to recover the baseband but no luck.
if any one know how can i get my baseband back please let me know.
Having same problem from yesterday after flashing custom ROM Arrow OS, my IMEI no and my sim is not catching signal, so i went back to stock still its not working. I had an TWRP nandroid backup but after restoring it gives error encryption unsuccessful and files cant be accessed and tells me to factory reset so i factory reset it but still it doesnt boot

Yup my baseband also became unknown after flashing custom rom through twrp but I downloaded the firmware and flashed it through fastboot but it was still not working so I read somewhere to remove the Sim before flashing and it worked you should try it too
