I have been experiencing some large amounts of lag in my lenovo and recently i have rooted and added twrp recovery in it but I could not find a correct rom can someone please make a list of the best roms in lenovo a7000 ???

Best in what sense? Stable? Fast? Features? Battery backup?

Yes I prefer ghost the most.

You could try the Pixel UI ROM by HDHR, sms, camera are all working fine, don't know about the GPS, i haven't tested that out, but if your GPS bounces while navigating, flash this https://goo.gl/rZcgEp by @tanish2k09.

Then you could try the Lineage OS ROM by @tanish2k09
Sim and other stuff works, and there are no major bugs.

Well yeah, but I don't use the camera much, so not much of a bug for me.

Swift I've already removed support.
I have been using Oreo ROMs like LOS for about a month. I noticed that I needed to switch off LOS' original night light as phone was lagging like hell. I tried to install Night light app on XDA labs but to no avail. :crying: It needs Kcal support from custom kernel. I searched the forum as best as I could but came up with nothing. Please suggest me an alternative. Thanks in advance!

Anyone using the new gcam with nightsight? Apparently eventhough bulit for oneplus 6 by arnov it works better with mi5 but im on miui rom and it won't work. So i wanted to know if anyone has used it before changing roms abd whether it works only on pie roms or anything from nougat.

its pie only as of now use syberia os if you really want to try of btw its laggy and sluggish but actual camera performance is mind bobbling .
I've ran into a very big problem. I was just flashing ROM's on my phone and GCam just completely stopped working on all AOSP based ROMs. These APK's work very well on the stock MIUI ROM as well as xiaomi.eu ROMS. They just don't work with AOSP based ROMs. The only one's working with the AOSP ROM's are the one's which come pre-installed sometimes like Lineage stock camera or snap cam. Even ANX Camera works fine. Only GCam does not. Please help me out guys. I even tried flashing the stock rom via mi flash tools wiping everything but not locking the bootloader. But doesn't work.
i heard that the camera should be fine on 8.0 but it seems to be slim pickings for oreo support these days.ive tried mostly pie roms on this phone, theres a problem with camera with all of them. ive been using lineage 15.1 oreo and the camera gives almost the same amount of issues. so i guess my question is the camera just going to always give me an issue no matter the version? the lineage oreo also has been noticeably slower than the pie version

Which xiaomi port? And when you say original, do you mean stock?
The bluetooth has been working fine for me but I rarely use it. Camera has been a consistent issue

Heyyo, Google camera mods have been kinda touchy on S2, but luckily nullby has made s2 specific gcam mod ports.

As for custom ROM support for these? You'll need either a custom ROM that has selinux enforcing policies for it like LineageOS 16.0 (which I did a crapload of work on to ensure nullby gcam mods would work perfectly on with selinux enforcing) or any other ROM port based on LOS 16.0 selinux enforcing trees. Otherwise? Any custom ROM that is selinux permissive.
I recently flashed miui and am really liking it. Enough people don't talk about the port for some reason, maybe they don't like the skin perhaps? It's been the best rom I've tried from what I remember

How's the Battery SOT, Stand-by Stats & GCam compared to MIUI stock Cam?
I previously ran ROS MIUI 9.3.21 ROM only to find the Camera crash while trying to take photo and Video call in WhatsApp.
Now I'm on EUI 6.0.030 by Cuoco92 & it's fine. But I'm looking for a good & stable MIUI ROM without crashes but with decent Battery stats and Camera system...

im using miroom rght now but all varants are pretty good form what see. and m not sure what the sot s since ts hard to find that on the rom but battery lfe is pretty good
