Hello, I am new to xposed and edxposed framework and stuff so these questions will probably sound stupid, sorry in advance.
I have both programs installed on my oneplus 6t from europe. I have tried multiple modules but most just wont work. Alot of these were last updated on 2016 and stuff. I found a list with all the android pie compatible modules, but none have descriptions or download links. The list is also very limited, I am especially interested in a modded/module for snapchat but snappreffs (in the "compatible with pie" list) doesn't work. I did get other modules To work so I do know how to properly download and install one. My question is, do I have to downgrade my android 9.0 to an older version so I get more compatibility with older modules and stuff. And if so, which android version should I get?
Thanks in advance.

Have a few questions regarding Xposed framework, am new to Androids and using One Plus One.
1. Which version of Xposed should I install for COS 12 S213( 5.0.2) Lollipop and CM 11S 05Q (4.4.4) Kitkat?
2. Are both versions i.e for Kitkat and Lollipop stable or still in developmental stages?
3. Can Xposed be uninstalled if supposedly the version isn't correct?
5. Lastly care to post the links for downloading the flash and installer for both, would appreciate it.
Thanks.
PS: Is this the correct stable version for COS 12, 5.0.2, LL, xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430 and XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk ?
Have you tried reading the stickies at the top of the forum? The ones that are right there, first on the list, so that people will notice and read them?
Within (and in the linked discussion threads), your questions have been answered literally thousands of times before.
hi there my set is huawei p10 plus and I rooted this succesfully.after that I installed xposed for arm64 unofficial.then I installed xuimod 2.3 latest version but after ticking it from module and then reboot my list animation does not working.I rooted my devise only to use this effects and animations.now what can I do to fix it?
then report that here
i said report doesn't mean you would be able to complain thereof. you shoulda known first-hand that this particular Xposed build, which is SDK24/25, is UNOFFICIAL thus highly unstable and has lotsa problem to be addressed.

You probably can't. Lots of things have changed since that module was last updated in 2014. Highly doubtful it will work ever. Unless the dev updates for Nougat.
You do realise Xposed Unofficial for Nougat mostly works on AOSP roms (Lineage etc.)
Plus, why are you complaining. You know there's bound to be issues.
Any version of Xposed works on Max 2? I need to use App Settings module
I've been scouring the internet for days since SDK24 and SDK25 is now officially supported.. But can't seem to find one that actually works.
I obviously went to the official thread the first time around, not working. Xpose is installed and all, but it doesn't work. Has that resource hook error. (similar to this thread)
Tried this SolarWarez Xposed, doesn't work either, both Magisk and System. It says the framework is not active.
I'm using MIUI 9 v7.9.21 from xiaomi.eu, deodexed, bootloader unlocked, Magisk 14, TWRP 3.1.1-0

Hi
Try downgrading to Magisk 13.3 or so, then use systemless by SolarWarez.
Here is the SolarWarez SDK 25 systemless xposed that works for me: SDK25 version: https://yadi.sk/d/K3dva3gG3MDHRd
The bad news: App Settings's settings dont work/ dont stick for any Nougat device.
Skyolinhelper is a barebones alternative that does work please google it
Sorry I cant help any further
unfortunately it only works with rom deodex. I put the multirom 7.9.21 and xposed works. some modules work but only partly ... i use xmiui (works in part) and one tap video download
Hello,
I used Xposed framework-[UNOFFICIAL] Xposed v88.1 for MIUI 9 [SDK24/25] by Psy_Man, arm64-sdk25 (Android 7.1).. Works perfectly on Xiaomi Max 2 with MIUI 9, version 7.10.12 EU. I use the following modules:
- Flat Style Indicator bars-works fine
- MIUI 8 tweaks-performs partially, without forced stops ....:good:
I finally managed to flash xposed-v88.2-sdk25-arm64-test4.zip from the official MIUI 9 Github thread.
I'm on latest weekly MIUI 9 xiaomi.eu rom (7.10.19), which is Android 7.1 with Magisk 14.0. Flashed via iscle's TWRP.
Download for test4 (Android 7.1), Android 7.0 would be this one
Got the downloadlink from here: http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=946636&highlight=xposed
I suggest you to read the description in the MI Forum thread. I haven't tested any modules yet, I only know that the framework is active for me and that it disabled SafetyNet.
EDIT:I just tried using PBMC (remap hardware buttons), but my phone just quick reboots (with google boot animation instead of xiaomi) as soon as I try to use a remapped button. Is that because of my Xposed version or is it the normal behaviour of miui devices when using these functions? I also tried it with recource apis disabled, same result.. PBMC is my #1 reason for xposed, maybe someone on a different rom or xposed version can try a basic command chain like next media for me?
I tried many many versions of Xposed now (I'm on .eu-rom with miui 9 and Android 7.1), and while I had no bootloops with most of them, not a single one worked with the only app I'm trying to get to work (PBMC). I read somewhere to try the Xposed Magisk module and I did, but it only told me in the Xposed app that "Xposed is not installed"...
Does someone have the time to test the Xposed app PBMC for me? You only have to set the basic chains which the app offers to you, then save, then turn on music, then turn off the Screen and hold up or down. For me everything I do results in a quick reboot. The developer looked at my logs and said it is a xposed problem.
Here are my details:
Google Pixel
Android Pie
Stock
Bootloader unlocked
I know thatXposed does not support Pie yet. So, I am willing to install Edxposed, instead, or any other fork of Xposed for Pie.
So, how do I install it? Do I download the stock ROM and modify it somehow?
All I really want is Xprivacy, so if anyone also knows of anything else like it for Pie and any custom ROM that includes said alternative, then please tell me what they are (alternative to Xposed and Pie ROM that includes it).

Installation of edxposed is done through magisk.
They are not in the download section of the magisk repo and have to be installed manually in the modules menu with the + button. You will need the 2 files to flash in magisk + the exposed installer from this thread.
If it works you will need xprivacylua ( not xprvacy) which Marcel is currently working on to improve for pie with I believe edxposed.

As for any other xposed versions for pie I have not heard of any others
Note: edxposed does not work for me on my s8 yet so I am not sure about your pixel.
I can confirm that EdXposed works on Pixel, I have it installed.
Like how @spawnlives said, the installation process is simple enough.
Just be careful what modules you install, a lot of them is not compatible yet and you could end in a bootloop and have to uninstall the modules via twrp.
I suggest you to read the list of compatible modules here.
If you're interested in a privacy module, looks like xprivacylua is already compatible with EdXposed.

No, magisk is a method to root your phone

Hello,
my friend has a Samsung galaxy note 8 with the model SM-N950F and he was thinking about giving me his phone to install a custom ROM for him, the phone is running stock ROM.
my question is what is the most stable android 12/13 Rom ( AOSP ) that doesn't require rooting and has banking apps and the pen working fine, also what is the latest stable TWARP and Odin that works for that model ( because I had SM-G530h and some Odin versions didn't work with it ).
one more question is it available to go back to Stock ROM once again using Odin like with old Samsung phones and where can I find a trusted source as Sammobile doesn't seem to work for me for some reason?
thanks in advance for your help.

Your question is a contradiction. You're asking whether you can use a custom ROM without root but still pass Play Integrity and other checks? This is not possible. Simply having an unlocked bootloader makes your device fail. To pass Play Integrity and be able to use banking apps, the Universal SafetyNet Fix module is required for use with Magisk. Further, AOSP does not include any of the "frills" that Samsung preloads into their firmware, meaning that not all features may work, including the S Pen. If you want to try AOSP anyway, you can follow my guide here to install an AOSP GSI.
As for returning your device to stock using Odin, yes. Sammobile is a good source, but if it doesn't work for you, you can try Frija or Samfirm.js to download the firmware directly from Samsung's servers.

Frija is faster and I recommend it. SAMMobile forces users to register to their website and limit your DL-speed.
It's not strictly required to use Magisk. Some Custom ROMs by default spoof SafetyNet Attestation to BASIC and don't need Magisk.
But in the case of Custom ROMs like LineageOS (which doesn't spoof/hide the Unlocked Bootloader on purpose!), or Stock OneUI ROM, you do need to use Magisk + "MagiskHide Props Config" Magisk Module and set the fingerprint to Note8. If Note8 isnt available as a fingerprint, use SafetyNet-Fix Module.
Also, I don't use my Note 8 anymore, but we have Custom ROMs for Note8. I see we have LineageOS 20.0. Why use GSIs? They are much more unstable and buggy.

LineageOS is largely developed as a GSI. Yes, in many cases, it is bundled with a device specific kernel as a complete ROM, but for Project Treble compliant devices, a Generic System Image is just that - a single generic system image that does not have any device specific functions and can be used with any kernel on any device. In that regard, the official AOSP GSIs are very stable, and any issues are usually involved with the kernel, not the system image.

To be able to use Banking Apps, the following practices are good.
Passing SafetyNet (you can check this with YASNAC from Play Store).
If you don't pass SafetyNet, use Magisk with one of the 2 modules mentioned above.
You may also need to enable Zygisk, Enforce DenyList, and add your Banking Apps to Magisk DenyList.
I use a Xiaomi Poco F3 with ArrowOS Custom ROM, it already contains patches to force SafetyNet to BASIC, and so I dont need any modules, but only Zygisk, Force DenyList, and add my Banking Apps to the DenyList and reboot ^^

The official Googley ones. Tho I don't mind, since I use an AOSP Custom ROM anyway (on my Xiaomi phone). My Note 8 is kept on OneUI 1.0... i miss the "Samsung Experience" dayz.. Yknow, the OS that came after TouchWiz. It had a rather professional-looking boxy design. Don't like the Huge padding and Rounded Corners of OneUI. The modern OneUI versions are also eh. Due to Samsung stuffing additional apps like TikTok and other rubbish as pre-installed apps.

Huh. I've used both the "pure" GSIs from Android CI, as well as the Android Developer GSIs on my Tab A 8.0 with the CUK4 kernel. Everything works like it should. Make sure you're using the correct architecture and bitness for your device - most are arm64 - but in the off case that your Xiaomi isn't ARM, there will likely be a lot of issues.
Remember that while a Treble kernel should run any GSI, you still have to wipe data. You can't go from OEM firmware to GSI or vice versa without a data wipe; that cause a a lot of stability issues.
thanks for the replays and information guys regarding official releases of AOSP ROMs I haven't seen one that is higher than android 9 ( which is mainly the reason why we want to install a higher version due to compatibility issues with the company portal apps ) so any idea what is the most stable ROM for that model running android 10 or above
