No Calls
DOH! I fixed it.
When Preferred network type was set to LTE only the phone calls are never made. Changing to WCDMA/LTE fixes it (not sure if swapping out the modem helped or not).
----------------OP BElow---------
I tried this rom out on my Canadian XT1097 (Telus) and found that while everything else works my dialer doesn't. The bootloader is unlocked and the phone was running a rooted MM rom prior.
When I dial a number the call immediatly goes to 'Call Ended'. People also cannot call me.
I can send/receive sms, mms, surf the internet, use bluetooth and wifi and lte but I cannot make phone calls.
I tried flashing the stock MM modem for Telus XT1097 back to the phone but that didn't help.
Any advice?

Can't find robot access... Is this ROM pre rooted???...

How to install:
Copy the ROM zip on your phone
Reboot in TWRP Recovery mode

These install instructions are all wrong. 6x Wayne doesn't have A/B partitions.
You just need to flash with twrp.
1. Wipe System, Data, Cache partitions
2. Flash ROM
3. Flash Arm64 Gapps (8.1)
4. Flash Magisk
5. Reboot
6. Enjoy

unfortunately no ... upgrade to pie roms they dont have this issue.

Always Have a full functional Backup. Just in case!
First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Oh gotta fix that one, no the kernel isnt in fact 4.4 (im working on implementing lunarkernel though) its lineage's 3.18
Marlin is supported, on pixel xl site it has its own post

I don't know why but it's a pain to download from sourceforge lately. It starts then fails at random moments. Could someone upload the latest build (1627) somewhere else ?
edit : well, finally managed to download it. It doesn't fit my needs, but most importantly, I couldn't find the "always on" option so it can't be disabled.
