hello good night I'm having 1 problem with the memory card in the huawei p30 pro, after making or receiving some calls the cell phone fails to recognize the memory card.
either with this or the other, VOG-L29 9.1.0.161 (C431E4R2P2), VOG-L29 9.1.0.178 (C431E4R2P2) any solution? thank you.
I had this memory card issue but it was at random times not after calls.
Anyway I got the memory card replaced by amazon and no issues since May.

Hey everyone, I bought a Samsung 64GB EVO Class 10 SD card off Amazon in September,it crashed in October so I bought a new one. That one crashed a month later so I returned it and got a new one. Last night my SD card crashed AGAIN! I noticed that the cards had been crashing after I swapped batteries. Last night I swapped batteries out and I checked to see if the card was still being read and it wasn't shown in my phone or computer. Anyone else having this problem or know what's going on with my phone?
Apparently google stopped support at class 6 sdcards. Lot's of people have had problems with random data loss or corruption using a class 10...I'd suggest pick up a class 6 and see if you still have those problems
Hey all, so looking at the sim trays for the p20 lite and the pro they seem almost identical, with the p20 like sd one looking a bit longer than the dual sim version (which matches the p20 pro one from the images I can find).
It makes sense in my mind that they would have a similar board and internal layout to save on production cost of the different models, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried the p20 lite tray in the p20 pro. I do see more contacts than just a single sim would need, however there is a dual sim model of the phone, I can't get a good enough view to see if there are any that mach up with an sd card.
I've been googling and can't seem to find any evidence of anyone else suggesting or trying this. I would greatly love to be able to put my sizeable music collection on an sd card for this phone, I knew when upgrading that it was pretty much a given that it wouldn't have a micro sd card slot but I wonder if this has potential to work, especially after discovering my music collection is larger than I thought, and with the difficulty I'm having copying it to this device, where if it had an sd card tray, I could just pop it in.
Simply, no. There is no micro SD card tray for P20 and P20 pro...

Has it actually been tried? There is also the mate 20, which looks similar, but there aren't nearly as many pictures to compare the two types.
The ifixit teardown pictures are relatively unhelpful in trying to see if there are also sd card contacts physically present.
I sell these phones at work. No it doesn't work (I did try just on the of chance you were correct) they are completely different internally.

Well, that's a shame.
You cant put micro usb to type C port. Its the same with this, the port is for a sim, not for a microSD card. )

That's a horrible example, that situation is a ridiculous one, whereas manufacturers will often share parts between the same line of phones, it's cheaper to do that because you need less board revisions, you don't change the assembly line nearly as much, and you don't need to buy different parts, in this case it would be the physical pin assembly that would have the contacts for the sd card. This is already obvious since they ship the single sim units with a different tray, but you can root the phone and there's some sort of paid service to enable the second sim.
I moved my SD card from my Samsung S7 Edge to my new Bold N1 and got a fix SD card error, so it took me to the format screen and it got up to 20% formatted and the the phone rebooted. I retryed several times, but no luck. Since it is a 200 gb card I thought it might need a 128gb card so I got one and it didn't format or recognize it either. I put the new 128gb card and into my S7 Edge and was able to format it. I have not been successful in contacting Blu (who I bought the phone from). Has anyone had this problem, or have a suggestion? Thanks very much for any info. They have a short warranty period. George
Any update on the problem?

Hello, I've been having the same exact issue that you had, the phone getting to 20% formatted and rebooting, though I only used a 128gb card as that's the max size they have listed. As it's been a while, I was hoping to see if you had any update on the issue. -Ahten

I haven't ran into that issue yet. . .
I currently have two Bold-N1, that I purchased the same day that this cellphone were launched, and never have had any issue when using it with 64GB and 128GB SDcards (Sandisk a Samsung).
Hello. I just got my YAOMAISI 256GB NM Card from amazon that was described as working with my phone model (p40 pro). After putting it correctly in NM slot in my phone and starting device I can see nothing happening in storage etc. Is there anyway to bypass this and get my unofficial card work or should I just send it back?
Hi there,
i have a HUAWEI P30 Pro VOG-L29 and used it for almost exact two years now ... without major problems or any damages at all. Few days ago the SIM card stopped being recognized and the USB port can only be used to charge (no detection when connected to a pc). I already did a factory reset. After that the sim got recognized like it should and i could use the phne to make calls for about 12 h. After that everything went back to f*d up. The SIM card is being recognized in other phones and the fact the SIM card was recognized after the reset makes me assume this may be a software related problem. Can anybody help? I'd love to be able to use this phone as long as possible. Thank you very much in advance!
Is there anyone, who had any similar issues?
