Problem with Mi9 and Dji phantom 4 pro - Xiaomi Mi 9 Questions & Answers

Hello everybody, i have a weird problem with my phantom 4 pro, when i record a video on the drone it automaticaly record a video on the Phone in lower resolution as a preview of what i record, like a video cache. When I use it with my galaxy note 8 it was all good, on the mi9 it is very choppy. The mi9 has a lot stronger proccesor. What might be the problem?

Note 9 camera lag!!

This is so frustrating because it’s the only issue I have with this otherwise stellar phone!!!
Recorded this video from my iPhone Xs Max.
Annoying issue with my beloved Galaxy Note 9 512GB. Seems to stutter and lag occasionally when the camera is engaged whether it’s the native camera app, Facebook camera or Instagram camera...
Anyone else experiencing this issue?

There is a pretty large thread for this here and most say it's fixed with the latest update. I myself have not had this problem with my Snapdragon 128 gb. Indeed it sounds very frustrating.
My 128 at&t note does that too. It should be fixed whenever they get around to rolling out the next update.

AUDIO DELAY IN VIDEO CAMERA ISSUE

My redmi 9's camera or video recorder sometimes does not sync up the audio and video. It got worse when i updated my phone to miui 12... The audios in the video recorded have a really high tendency to be not in sync and be corrupted.
Am I the only one who's facing this issue? Im using a 3/32 global variant of the redmi 9.
This happens to me too. Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure of the reason for this issue. But I have two hypotheses:
1.- Maybe it happens because of lack of RAM
2.- Maybe it happens because of the illumination of the site you're recording. I suspect that when I try to record in a low-light environment, the camera automatically reduces its video framerate. When this happens probably, the audio records at a constant framerate, while the video records at a variable framerate, and, in consequence, causing this delay.
But, again. These are just hypotheses of mine. I tried downloading other camera apps, and the result is the same, but when I restart my phone and try to record on a well-illuminated area, I tend to see more fluidness and sync between audio and video.
Note: I'm also using the global version of Redmi 9 (3/32)
A friend of me have same issue with 32/3 gb version and in my opinion its the ram,he rooted and disabled much apps and in devloper settings sets max 4 apps running and then it works for some time, after minutes it start lagging until reboot and new settungs in devlooer options sadly the hardware in this variant is very poor, sadlyCheers!!!

Question Why my S21 Ultra shoots videos that sound quite silent and flat?

Hello, new S21 Ultra (Exynos) owner here.
I and my mate are doing a video podcast of sorts and were eager to select the best video setting on my new S21 Ultra - resolution, FPS, wide or main camera etc. We shot some with his Galaxy A71 for control purposes and played our samples back on his Samsung 4K TV. And as the video quality on the S21 Ultra was in most cases better (not much on the wide-angle, it had decent detail but was grainy), the microphone levels were considerably lower than those on the A71.
The quality was there, the details also, but the overall sound was way more silent and the bass/treble was nearly non-existent compared to the ones on the other device.
We started trying to change different settings on my phone with no effect. It's not an S21 Ultra playback issue, as I sent a video to his phone to stream it to the TV from there and the difference persisted.
Compared to a video on my wife's Samsung M31 the difference is also the same.
I did not discover any particular microphone settings other than the zoom-in mic, which made no difference turned off or on. Can it be some other app using the microphone and screwing up its performance? I really hoped that the sound captured on the S21 Ultra would be impressive and not at all sub-par.
Use the pro video mode, there you can change what mics to use....front, back or both or external mic

It works OK by adding 10db to the sound level, but yet I didn't need to use this mode on the other devices. Hopefully the may update will improve this issue. At least it doesn't seem to be hardware related.

Redmi Note 9 (non-pro) UK/EU - video camera quality - grainy?

I have already updated the phone with the latest system update and it's currently on MIUI 12 Global 12.0.8.
With EIS enabled, it is very grainy, but improves a little with EIS disabled. In normal daylight, video recordings seems fine, but in a room lit with warm toned lighting conditions (~3000k), videos are grainy.
I have compared it to Alcatel 1S (2020), Honor 10 Lite, moto e6 plus and even Xiaomi's own Redmi 9, the video recordings are much much cleaner.
Does anyone know what the issue here is?
You'd have thought the Note 9 would beat all the above?
I have also done a factory reset (which incidentally removes some apps such as AliExpress, some Google related apps amd the Games drawer? Anyone know why?

Question Does the "Dual video" stutters? (11T Pro 13.0.13)

After having the 11T Pro (13.0.13) for 3 months, I tried the "dual video" (back/front cameras simultaneously) and to my amazement the (h265) video seriously ...stutters!
In both during recording and later in playback (I was hoping that it would be OK while you play it, but no...)
I'm amazed because even a decade old Samsung Note 3 I have does it in 1080p flawlessly.
Is your dual video stutters too?
(didn't have other apps running and the phone was cold)
I have just tested, it works ok, no problems, I'm on global versión, 13.0.6
Thank you for your answer.
I will check everything again.
Is your setting to codec 264 or 265?
