Why it's a beta version ?
Because I only test this rom on a A750FN version, I don't know if it's work on A750F/GN.
I don't test all the fonctions of the ROM but I made a "safe debloat" so normally you will not have major bugs.

Don't use beta1 there is a bug with Samsung Cloud syncing, I'll upload the beta2 soon with the fix and some changes (nothing fancy)
I'll add mods when there's no more major bug in this rom. For now I wan't to be sure that I have a good base.
What about camera quality?

Thanks for this great work. You have a link to some generic kernel source in the OP (for the Snapdragon chipset) but then you are talking about using the global stable kernel?
Have you looked at using the Qualcomm 'test' AOSP kernel?
As that version has a working kernel and the all the propeitary libs you could need I would imagine (other than a way of configuring the fingerprint reader - it does have a fingerprint service running - but no settings for adding a fingerprint - I see Fingerprint support is only being added to CM13 so we might have to wait ).
I am currently using that ROM (as I don't like MIUI) and can post a list of the /system folder if you are interested.

I've decided to take the time and hack together a quick TWRP-compatible ZIP of the leaked AOSP ROM with a few goodies on top so that we have at least one stable non-MIUI ROM to keep us going until CM13 is ready for daily driving.
Before people ask:
This ROM doesn't have OTA support, and it won't be updated on a regularly basis.
Yes, its capable of daily-driving with no big issues whatsoever.
Yes, you need a unlocked bootloader to flash this (the unofficial bootloader unlock will work however).
It's prerooted, pre-gapped and pre-xposed, so you will have essentially everything you will ever need already there.

Overlapping No-SIM Symbol has been removed
Redundant SPN Debug Overlays have been removed
Debug Buttons have been removed from the Recent Apps View
APK Signature Check has been disabled in the Framework

Great firmware. Flashed using TWRP with OpenGapps micro and everything works ok without black screens. Even Gapps setup wizzard on first launch work.

Yes, apps opens longer than in miui. Some lag in scrolling presist. Snapdragon Camera not optimised and works even worse than stock.
If you dont want AOSP by all means its better to stick with Global ROM for now. Only pros of this firmware is AOSP interface and good signal strength.

I tried it now, but no noticeable change happen. Also AOSP already have high battery drain, so this is not good solution.
Chrome just stop responding to touch on fast scrolling for a second in this thread.

Installation :

2. Enter TWRP Recovery
3. Backup your current ROM in case something goes wrong
4. Do a Full Wipe (system, dalvik-cache, data, cache)

You're right, testet with SuperSU 2.82 and it didn't root the ROM. Maybe it works with an old version or with Magisk.
Idk if there are some people using this ROM but I uploaded a new build

Hi! With stock kernel WiFi don't work. When i tested Hades Kernel v2.5 and Kraken Kernel v4 then is ok. WiFi work.

I've flashed the ROM on my Galaxy A3 2015.
All is OK, except for the WIFI !
Impossible to activate it (it was completely functional with the previous ROM).
Button goes ON and goes back automatically OFF one second later.
Is there a solution to fix this problem ?

I don't have any wifi issues at all, I think on some devices it's due kernel or modem. Wifi may work by flashing a different kernel like hadesKernel (by @corsicanu) or Kraken-R4 (by @Bulgaricus) as @czekon63 already mentioned it above.

Future development
Since this ROM running stable for daily use, I tried to add the screen mirroring feature. Well, it seems to be impossible to add this feature. No matter, I started a new project some days ago, it's a Grace UX port. This port is based on an A3 2017 firmware and running stable so far, except GPS. The system don't detect it's GNSS receiver.
Now my question to you, should I release this ROM with broken GPS? Of course, I'll try to fix it.

Thanks for this! I installed it and I love the different recent apps screen. Technically I probably don't need the low ram config with 2 GB of ram, but I like it so far. Only potential downside for me is loosing the pip feature.
Any chance to support sdk28? Installer say that only works on Oreo ?

Does this module enable your N5X using Assistant go, for example? Does your N5X run more smooth with this patch? Do you turn your big off to avoid BLOD? Sorry if OT! Thanks!
Bootloop issue
It works on Custom ROM but It doesn't work on MIUI 11 ROM.
Does it work in Android 10? I had tried with the original low RAM mod but it didn't have any effect. Pie and lower worked well.
Does it work with nougat and touchwiz?

Also curious to know, I've been looking for a way to enable the Low Ram flag in Android 10 without success.

Didn't work for me either. It could be the ROM/developer did not add proper support.
While this module works on Android Pie, this broke the recent apps switcher on LOS 16 for microG for me.
Going to try and disable the module to see if that will fix things.
Update - The module didn't show up in Magisk, so had to use the original disable script by AdrianDC in TWRP and that fixed things.
This module is working perfectly with CRDroid Android 11.

Be sure to get Full Nandroid Backup before installation ....
Setup
Download the Epic ROM and transfer it to internal memory.
Start your device in TWRP recovery mode.
In TWRP recovery, click Wipe »Advanced Wipe and delete everything except local memory.
Return to the TWRP main menu, touch Install, and in Step 1 select the Epic rom Zip file to which you are transferring your device.
Once you have selected the .zip file, do a Swipe to Confirm Flash. At the bottom of the screen to start the custom ROM installation process. This may take some time.
Once your ROM has been successfully loaded, run Wipe cache / Dalvik and restart your device.

Boot errors
When i flash this using twrp I am successful in booting, but am get three errors regarding mui daemon, ui stopping, and whetstone... anyone out there can assist?? I have unlocked bootloader. I cannot proceed in set-up due to the errors.
xiaomi service framework has stopped
google service framework keeps stopping
security keeps
Followed the install steps and after flashing a second it seems to have corrected itself, I may have not wiped post flash which caused my issues.

Hi ，there.Thx for ur hard working.But i think i met a bug. You see，sometimes when i open an app ，the system will somehow automatic reboot，sometimes it automatic reboot for no reason while im using it. Hope u can fix the problem. Thx again.
