Did Google slow down FRF83 for better stability?

just ran quadrant on my phone running Kang-O-Rama froyo 0.9b2 Sp1
and despite it being overclocked to 1.13 its still slower than what seems to be older 2.2 versions?

I also tried it with Paul's FRF83 ROM and got pretty much the same results.
I double checked my setcpu settings were good btw
anyone want to run quadrant tests too? could just be my phone ('hope not)

What are your linpack scores?

1386 Paul's R19 no oc.

no that wasn't me...
I was getting 1317 with full on performance setting on setcpu.
linpack scores are in the 35~36 range
not complaining though, just thought it was interesting considering the kernel's OC'ed

Try another kernel, that's quickly done. Linpack is 35-36 here too. You should get above 40 with oc

MCR r19 with stock kernel... results look great... and yeah, values are almost consistent...

thanks. trying wildmonk's oc kernel. getting 1432 now. I'll keep trying other kernels...

Is this possible for our 2x too?
I had a Samsung Galaxy Spica and after this Mod I/O Score in Quadrant went up from 1100 to 1800.
Apps like Twitter, Gmail, Estrong File Explorer,... were working much faster.

Oh my god Paul, this rocks! Works perfectly with your FR7! Now quadrant mark is over 3200 without overclock, crazy!

Strange, was I missing something?
I can apply the zip var CWM, boot without problem, but the mark drop from 2541 to 2513...
I am on stock, 10A, build.prop stated ro.build.date.utc=1299570033

Antutu benchmark results

Mi 9 6/128 Antutu results 343295 it is less then average results. Why?

Any phone now days is so smooth that benchmark scores dont even matter. If you really want the top score though the Extreme Kernel can get over 400k score.

Today after update antutu wont install anymore, not compatibe model ?????

Any AnTuTu score with CPU/GPU over 100K and MEM over 10K don't really matter anymore, they will feel the same in day to day task. Only during video encoding or over 60fps games (even the heavy titles) they will start differing. But it's useless if the phone's display refresh rate is capped at 60Hz. My best score with AnTuTu 8 is 498K by using Xiaomi.eu stable ROM, I'm now in global stable and I use LKT magisk module to drop the performance for better battery life and still getting 411K.

Different versions of the app. Geekbench 5 VS geekbench 3. That is way the results are lower.

Do people actually care about these?!
If the phone is snappy and feels ok does it matter?

I got it via ota u can get the 10.4.7 from xda its under indian rom section...and there was an update of around 200 mb

Try geekbench 4. About some reason its not coming up on the playstore search so you would need to look up for it on Google. GL

Overclock the phone with konabess I found pixel experience on Android 12 was the best as the rom is stock but I have upgraded to android 14 on miui and you can now extend RAM by 5gb more so 8+5gb feels lot better on the EU rom

Can u find for me the konabess archives for oc and uv sd888 5g? I don't find some, and as idk nothing about, I'm afraid to mess it up with my phone.

I personally don't recommend ovetvkockinh for 888, mainboatd offed dead after using oberclock kernel

If you overclock your 888, i think you will kill your wifi.

My phone is overlocked been months now no problems I do have a aluminium camera cover the seems to take heat away from the phone
