Screen Quality Issue - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Does anyone else experience a screen quality issue on the Note 9, that faint horizontal lines appear on their app drawer using the default wallpaper? The faint lines are only present on the bottom half of the app drawer, using the default wall paper. The lines do not appear on Home Screen.

[Q] Galaxy S Screen Problem

I am having a circle ring angle. Something like that.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=772528
I cannot see it in a totally black screen. And in a white screen.
It can only be spotted on darker colors like dark grey.
Also the "ring" is on the higher like the top of the wallpaper (not top of the screen) and its on the right side of the screen. When producing darker colors, the ring appear to be in brighter.
Note: I am using a anti glare screen protector.
Have you tried taking off your screen protector and see if the mark is still there?
I have a similar mark, it's just the screen protector.

[Q] Screen swipe blue edges

Anybody else notice this when I am swiping the screen on my note eg between homescreens when I reach the limit of the screen ie it cannot be swiped any further a blue band appears from the edge and stretches from the edge and fades as long as my finger pressure is applied and when pressure is released the blue band disappears
I hope I am making sense with the description. Is this a feature of the Note?

Click to collapse
Yes. It's not just homepages, it happens with almost every app with a scrollbar.

Many Thanks for the reply I have not seen this on any device before, interesting feature.
You will also find this on cyanogenmod but in orange.
The reason behind this is that the previous scrolling bouncing effect previously used is pattented by Apple, so Samsung had to to change to something different to avoid having to stop selling their products.
Yup, same with MIUI

Blue dotted lines in camera mode....

Having very faint dotted blue lines in camera app only when really using high iso of around 1600. Manually set it lower and it goes. I can't see them when focusing on something bright but when say a black vest I took a picture of it was visible. Only to then move and disappear when zooming in.....Real strange. Also appears in gallery on the same images. The camera and video camera buttons have them too on high iso. Any body else have this or know what it is or thinks I have a faulty unit?

[Q] Which launcher has this transition (if any)

I have recently installed a Parrot Asteroid Smart Android Headunit, running Android 2.3.7, and I would like to try and replicate an exiting launcher UI from the Volvo Sensus connected touch.
The sensus UI is essentially one large icon per screen (large and easy to touch when moving) each screen transitions continuously, with each screen having a subtle zoom effect zooming in as its selected and zooming out as it is swiped off screen. The closest I've seen is a cylinder transition, but it was the wrong way around, and as I recall it was on the app drawer rather than home screens.
But the thing I'm trying to replicate that I haven't seen any launcher do (they most probably don't see a use case for it) is that the previous and next screens are about 75% in view when on a particular screen, so you can see the what apps/screens are would come next if swiping right or left.
I have been using sslauncher so far, and have got a similar effect, but not quite right as the launcher can't replcate having the previous and next screens partly in view.
Heres a youtube link, skip to 1 minute in to see what I'm going for

There are some other touches I'd like, the particle emitter effect when a shortcut is pressed is quite nice, but they are nice to haves.
Any ideas?

Samsung galaxy music issue/ possibly stuck/dead pixels??

I currently own a Galaxy note 8.When using Samsung music I believe I am experiencing some form of screen burn or issues with the actual application. There is grids and circular blocks shaded darker across the whole display that appears on the samsung music app whilst listening to music which appears occasionally. The app may work fine for a small time then it displays the blocks and grids. When scrolling through music landscape there is also random red or blue a dots that appear on the screen however it only happens when I scroll through the albums. At the bottom of the screen there is small blocks present when rotated landscape. Depending on the album art there is also a very slight colour change in small lines on the navbar. As I can screenshot what is on the screen I am assuming it is not an issue with the display but the application. These issues only happen with the Samsung music application.
