i found *#*#4636#*#* but this is android settings as found in many android devices .....
This code i found is found by mtk engineering mode app... does Anyone know what is the ussd code to open engineering mode ?
there is no engineering code for le 2 which allow you to modify bands of lte etc. just you can choose lte/3g/2g through *#*#4636#*#*.
You need to download from play store quickshortcutmaker app
in this app go and search for engineering mode
and after that
create shortcut of the app on homescreen
via create button at bottom of the app.

It is normal to happen. To fix that:
You can use root explorer ( I prefer using Solid Explorer + SE Text Editor)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.solidexplorer2
Go to:
/system/etc/camera
Find a file named:
msm8996_camera.xml
Open it with text Editor and find this near the bottom of the text.
<Position>FRONT</Position> <MountAngle>360</MountAngle>
There is two "Front" if you use "find" and change 360 to 270.
Restart.
Hope it's going well.
I made a simple youtube video for you
So I've bitten the bullet and got this stunning phone for a great price.
I've moved from Xiaomi Redmi Note 7s.
I feel a bit letdown by the LG software as it's nowhere near MIUI in detailing, layout and what not. But I guess it's been talked a lot already.
So coming back to my new crush.
I want following things on my phone and looking to the learned FMs for guidance :
1. I want to install MIUI messaging on my LG V40
2. I want MIUI dialer & MIUI contacts app.
3. I want connection speed on notification bar.
Please guide me as to how to do it. I did try to download from apkmirror site but it did not install.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks !

Step 1. Unlock bootloader
Step 2. Add TWRP
Step 3. Flash Havoc OS (it has many different options including connection speed if I'm not mistaken)
Step 4. Try and install the MiUi stuff if it works on AOSP...if not search XDA for ported apps...

Well that would void warranty.
I wanted just simple way to do it without installing ROMs.
Thanks
Guys, here is how I finally did it to work.
1) download from playstore shortcut maker app.
2)open the app,go to activities tab>settings>mobile network activity>create shortcut (bottom right,blue button.
Open the shortcut created ,there is VoLte switch, enable or disable as you prefer!
To enable DC Dimming follow the same path and find OnePlus Laboratory and create shortcut also to enable DC Dimming.
Now you can disable/enable VoLte from shortcuts whenever you like.
P.S. about VoLte.I have made the procedure with EFS Tools to enable it but the switch never appeared as it did in Android Pie.
I don't know if it will work if you don t have done this procedure but you can try without and with the procedure done.
Cheers!
There is no voLTE switch using oneplus 5 with Android 10 and OOS 10.0.1

So probably you did not make the procedure with the EFS Tools described in the other post(how to enable VoLte right?
I tried with lots of things but everything I read is full of contradictions. I replied here because the method explained didn't work for me for the version and the model I said.
There are lots of "tutorials" but none has worked for me. I might have missed the right one.
Could you share the link? Are you sure it works for oneplus 5 with Android 10 and OOS 10.0.1 ?

We kinda enter in a loop here.
PDC can't be used with the new Android 10

Anyone get VoLTE working successfully?

The option in developer options on Android 12 has not been removed. It might just have a different name.
So if you translate this on English what would it be ?
I don't have that option. 13.0.1. SKBIDXM
As you can see it has been missing on other roms - devices. My question is how to force it even with missing?
Try This
I don't have a single app listed

[MIUI 13/14][MAGISK][ROOT] Enable dark mode on third party apps
Hi guys, I created a simple magisk module which adds all third party apps in ForceDarkAppSettings.json, thus enabling (or disabling) dark mode for all third party apps in MIUI 13 and MIUI 14. After installing the module and restart, you'll find all third party apps in dark mode settings. If you...

I has the exact same issue. Turns out I just had to disable and re-enable dark mode for it to work.
Note that I did have all my apps listed already in that setting.
