Note: This is the splash screen (boot logo) which by default is "Mi" when Redmi 5 is booted.
These files are supposed to be flashed only on Redmi 5 (rosy, Snapdragon 450) device only.
The files are tested and are working as they should. However if your device is an exception, do not blame me for anything. Proceed at your own risk.
Requirements:
1. A Redmi 5 rosy (haha yes).
2. An unlocked bootloader, with custom recovery installed.
Steps to Flash:
1. Boot into custom recovery.
2. Go to install, locate the zip file and flash it.
3. Reboot to see new splash logo.
(P.S.: No need to wipe any partition)
However, if you happen not to like it as much, or if you want to get back to the stock one, I've made a stock zip too! It's named Mi, and you'll find it in links section!

The windows flash_all.bat is labeled the miui port and tries to flash rom.img but there is no rom.img in the Xperia rar. Only system.img. I tried replacing rom I'm with system.img but still no luck booting.

Nope. The dev is offline for a while. I will ask his permission when he comes back online. If he doesn't allow, I'll obviously close the thread. How can people in XDA miss this amazing port.
Thread closed until permissions from the original dev is granted

Sure @SinWei97 :
1- Flash the stock ROM (Samsung ROM) because the AOSP 9 will use the stock Vendor.img
2- Flash TWRP and install the AOSP 9 as System
3- Finaly use the OEM fix of @dr.ketan
Then your Note 9 will boot normaly
Best Regards
Can you boot with vendor of 10 can you confirm maybe the iris scan will work with the kernel and aosp from phh ? He told me maybe will work on his gsi but only with android 10 as base maybe kernel caused? He mentioned....
And are you able to boot gsi with vendor and kernel are stock android 10?
This a few day's gone by the way........
After banging my head on my desk and screaming things in my monitor for more than 3 weeks(kudos if you get the reference!) I finally built this ROM. It's built off of stock and has no bugs(I think). Let's get started!
Installation instructions:
1. BACKUP YOUR DATA!
2. Download this ROM here:http://www.mediafire.com/file/xrd9jbtqtahyqlk/crosshatch-qq3a.200605.001-factory-6acb047f.zip/file
3. Make sure you backed up your data. Then go to this website:https://flash.android.com and connect your phone to your PC, then follow the instructions and select your phone and then it will magically unlock your bootloader, then finally, select the ROM above that you downloaded and press Flash.
That's it! Enjoy Samsung on your Pixel
Bugs
I don't know, you tell me. I don't have a Pixel

I've found out how to boot Android 12 Beta GSI. You need to flash A11 vendor, which is only available for Chinese ROM. Fortunately, Xiaomi EU has ported it for other region. You can download it from here.
