But are the notification mods available not allow disabling of notifications?
I use CM11, Long hold notification and do Ignore similar, and i don't get stupid messages like this.
But i thought things like Notification Toggle etc allowed hiding messages like that.
Might give you somewhere to look already if you have not.
Just download the NotifyClean module. After you reboot on installing, open NotifyClean and reboot your phone again. This means that it will start logging the notification area. Go to NotifyClean and select the Notification(I don't have a Samsung phone so I don't know what will it say, but it will be there). Make sure to select the notification(the selection will turn red on selection). Also play around with the settings if you want and reboot your phone again. It won't show up the next time.

Unfortunately, it won't stay disabled. Don't know anything about the XML files though.

Okay... i assume that in app info you can't disable the notification. right? assuming that you can't , you may want to use lucky patcher or use appsettings both of them can help you to modify the app from the inside. you can change the permission to remove the notification . You can choose either lucky patcher , or appsettings from xposed modules. Hope you solve the problem.

Hello everyone!
So I've had the note 5 for 2 months now. I decided to disable Air Command for the S Pen when you pull it out. I now want to re-enable the Air Command option to show when I pull out the spen but for some reason when I go into the settings and try to enable it, everything is grayed out and I can't click the option to re-enable it. I never put my spen in backwards, and it makes the sound everything I pull the spen out, so I am assuming that the pen detection is working fine. I tried enabling and disabling different options for the spen that might have cause a conflict for the Air Command setting to enable and nothing to my luck. I also tried removing the spen and putting it back while in the setting menu. Please help. How do i reenable air command witout factory restting the phone? Thanks in advance!
Ps: I couldn't share a link to the screenshot I took to show you guys how it's grayed out.

I have to guess that you used a third party app to disable Air command because I cannot disable it through the stock application manager. If so, use that third party app to enable it, restart and try again. Maybe even clear cache and force stop the app then restart if that doesn't work. Good luck.

No, I didn't use any 3rd party app to disable it. I'm especially wary of things like that bc I know that causes issues. Plus, I don't need to use an app to disable it bc I had the option to disable it easily from the settings.
Maybe it will help to mention that the button on my spen doesn't activate the Air Command feature as well. The button itself does work, because there's another feature that allows you to highlight text with the button held down and it works just fine. I also have another spen I found at work that gives me the same results. I tried force stopping the Air Command application and reset cache and reset the phone and nothing changed.
I see. Your settings must be different than mine because I cannot disable mine in settings. Maybe someone else will be able to help you.

My aircommand is disabled too.. i am on a Custom ROM (RSR ROM) with MM. Factory default or clean wipe will be the only option to restore it back as i tried a lot of solutions, but nothing worked for me.

Try these... maybe.
Is thee any way to completely disable direct share? It is by far the biggest pain in the A$$ for me. If i wanted to share something to my most recent contacts i would hit the stupid paperclip in the messages app.
Mods Please close, found the option to turn it off.
Hey guys please move if this thread is in the wrong place. I just picked up a galaxy note9 and I am getting advertisements after all incoming and outgoing phone calls. Is there a way to remove them? I will attach a screen shot...
Nevermind I cant figure out how to add a photo lol. Thanks for any replies.
Mike
Just do a factory reset. There should be no ads by default. You might have installed some app that you should not have or accepted some ads in an apps installation process. It is hard to know what is causing you to see ads without knowing what you have installed, but I'd suggest resetting phone to default and try making a call right after setting it up.
If you can identify the culprit then just uninstall the app. If not, worst case factory reset.
To Remove Ads after every Call
Remove the following app from your phone:
Easy Calendar.
Try a test call, it's gone.
Does anyone know how to disable the notifications for the "Samsung Experience App"? It keeps asking me to login, like every 2 hours. I do not want to be a part of this app, but the disable is greyed out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
