LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Tank you!
Downloading. I recently changed my Moto X 1097 battery. I hope it keeps running for another two years! Thanks @Linkandrea for continuing to develop ROMs.
Ok. 24 Hours.
Apparently everything is working fine after 24 hours of use. No reboot. SIM CARD always detected. WIFI HOTSPOT OK. It looks like MAGISK is not working properly. SuperSU is working perfectly. For now, I think it's the best alternative, with all of the phone's functions operating correctly.
out of curiousity why does normal(not lite version) facebook app crashes the phone? i asked coz i thought it was fixed here in the latest build.
---------- Post added at 06:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:16 AM ----------
but beside the fb app, this rom is rock stable.
btw if youre using fb messenger if it drops itself during a video call, just install google android system webview and push it into system app and reboot then in then open settings, developers options, webview implementation select google system webview.

Can anyone using it give feedback on the experience? Lag in the animations? Performance in general?
It has a strange bug ... When you set the unlock password, the device turns off.
Amazing to see this happening! Anyone knows if this has the YouTube bug? Thanks!

Wow! Thanks a lot! Just some dumb questions, is it possible to update from the official 14.1 to this one now? I tried this multiple times with Luk's builds but couldn't get the ROM to boot appropriately going this way. Is it something related to the different signatures?
Some screenshots for you guys, soon a quick review. :good:
Edit.

Yes, of course I did. This way works perfectly but I don't have my DATA, more precisely, I don't have my banking app's data. Titanium Backup is useless in this case and if I were to restore only the /data partition, the same problem would happen again. I've been doing that dirty install for a long time and it hasn't been a problem for me, I just clean install when I do some unrecoverable sh*t, which in this case, I can make use of the restore function on TWRP. I clean install when I used to downgrade to another Android version too, but I don't do this anymore.
And now I remember, Google put some verifications on the Oreo's boot process, maybe it's the reason for all that.
battery backup
how was the battery back up & performance? cuz luk's roms don't have last long battery backup

---------- Post added at 03:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:09 AM ----------
I know it's in "testing" status....but it's massively unstable. Dragged down the notifications and the phone locked up. I may have to flash back to LOS 15.9 until the teething problems are ironed out.
Running pretty stable here. Only issues I've found are :
Volte for TMobile users I'm guessing(although TMobile had issues on the open beta too)
Phone locked up once on boot but after it was fine.
SMS wasn't working at first.
Swiping on the keyboard cause it to crash.
WiFi calling (yet again the open beta had issues)
Magisk also passes
I'm not getting Bluetooth playback but other than that, it seems solid after installing a pixel launcher and Gboard to fix the swipe on keyboard issue.
@LuK1337 shouldn't the installation include flash twrp after rom? Otherwise you reboot to the LOS recovery
I think the "locking up" issue lies with the other launcher that comes with the ROM. I accidentally set it as default and thats when the problem started. Now i have Pixel Launcher set as default and its working absolutely fine.
---------- Post added at 03:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:39 AM ----------
Also, i thought Android Pie had native gesture controls?

R10.0 version good?
Do NOT, for whatever reason, use TWRP to flash this (at least for now).
You will brick your phone.
Use OrangeFox.

There is no reason to not use the latest version, just use R10.0-1.

Tnx for build.
Biggest issue now is camera, it is not working at all, even flashlight.
GPS as usual on your builds are not working as it should. Please add this fix to finally get it to work properly https://cloud.harijs.id.lv/index.php/s/Q8BkLRp8io4GYDw .
Youtube app is not working. It opens up and spins infinitely.
SMS app have issues whit reply on message, but that most likely is LOS code fault.
Otherwise it is not bad.
Amazing, thanks for the work

Where do we find android 10 gapps?
Flash Gapps , Magisk ( essential but not recommended)

Is that a typo, or is it really not recommended to use those?

Alright, sooo:
It took me a while to get gapps running, the opengapps test .zip didn't let me connect to the google servers after logging in and I had constant android setup crashes.
The following gapps version was working, though: https://t.me/OnePlus6TDev/171705
I flashed the rom, booted it, rebooted into TWRP, installed gapps and Magisk and rebooted. Then I had to wait a bit until the Google Play support library got updated and I was finally able to login.
However, the connection to Google servers quit working after half an hour, no app would load anymore, I believe it was due to an update of the Play Services app. I rebooted to see if it would fix the issue, but it didn't and thus rendering the phone useless, as all Play Apps would start crashing.
I can confirm the mentioned bugs like camera not working and encryption being bugged. The small issue with battery symbol settings not being applied is also present.
The rest was working flawlessly including Trust and LiveDisplay; I was very satisfied with the overall performance of the rom and it looks like a promising start of Android 10 on this device. Featurewise it has everything I want/need and the rom only requires changes under the hood.
Thanks for taking your time to develop for this device!
Nice, thank you! Glad to see LOS 17. BTW can anyone tell me if this ROM supports exFat for the µSD card?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Reporting Bugs :
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel , Magisk or any other addons.
