Error message when starting

was with the original rom lg. and then went instalr the recovery of the cyanogen rom manager app, and then hung up the phone and now the message appears in red at the top of the screen
"Critical Failure: Unable to start Kernel.
Unrecoverable bootloader error (0x00000002)"
and I can not get into download mode to install the original rom again.
and now what do I do? I lost my phone?
you flashed cwm without unlocking your bootloader. re-flash latest jellybean kdz file for your phone using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069723, then read some more about unlocking bootloader, and then start again.

but now I am unable to get into download mode on the phone. is
" Now just hold down vol - key ( hold hold hold dont release !!!! ) and plug the USB cable until you get screen like this :-"
he does not. whenever I do this it only vibrates strong and goes to the screen with the error message. I do not know why that. remember one time it happened to me already but can not remember how I resolved it is possible to even lose the download mode?
Its not possible afaik. Are you sure you are holding only vol - key and plugging in? Dont hold power key!
yes, I'm almost the whole day trying to get into download mode by pressing volume down + connecting the usb. and whenever it vibrates strong and hangs on lg logo. tried to volume up + usb connect. and no download mode. I'm going crazy with this phone. otherwise hesitate to hard reset? or other shortcut to download mode?

Will I not be able to see my optimus running again? :crying:

Hi Raphael20 and everyone else,
Did you manage to figure out a solution to this? I have the same issue, i.e. cannot start my phone by holding the power button. Not even when people suggest to get to the S/W Update screen by holding the Volume down + plug into the computer.
I got to this error when I tried to do a factory reset. I installed the ClockworkMod Recovery. Then the factory reset via Volume up + Power button gave me the "Critical Failure: Unable to start Kernel" error. I somehow managed to get access to my phone by holding the Volume down + plug into the computer. Then tried to do a factory reset via the system settings of my phone. My phone restarted and then gave me the "Critical Failure: Unable to start Kernel" screen of death! Now Volume down + plug into the computer gives me the "Critical Failure: Unable to start Kernel", no matter whether I have restarted my computer and I have tried another computer. It seems that the bootloader is wrecked.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Connect phone to pc with usb and then try to boot to bootloader(this has always worked for me when I have had that kind of issue). What were you trying to do when this started?

There's a change that you installed wrong TWRP and it keeps trying to boot recovery until it does it successfully. Though can't be sure since Honor 4x doesn't give any additional info. I can't remember how to fix it, but you could try to do force update, without update file.
Make sure you don't have 'dload' folder in root of your SDcard and that your device has high battery. Then hold vol + and vol - while powering device and keep holding them until it gets to update screen or until it boot loops again. If it gets to update screen your device should boot next time normally.

5033D Boot Loop - Bricked beyond redemption?

Hi all,
I have a 5033D that I tried flashing with a GSI ROM (ver32 - AOSP 8.1) via Fastboot and it failed. I rebooted the device too quickly before realising there was a failure.
Now the phone is stuck in a boot loop. It will not go into Recovery or Fastboot.
When I press the power button (or any other combination) without USB connected it vibrates and stays blank.
When I plug it into USB and to a PC, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively).
When I plug it into USB charger, it vibrates and shows the Logo, and goes into boot loop - vibrates, logo, vibrates, reboots (repetitively). It comes to a point where it shows that it is in Fastboot Mode, but when I plug it into a PC it gets rebooted out of Fastboot so I can't flash it or detect it in Fastboot.
Can I officially say this is bricked beyond rescue?
Thanks all!
Hello,
No. Try the Mobile Upgrade S Gotu2 5.4.8 tool to recover your phone. Remove the battery and ignore the instructions saying that you have to have your battery inserted.
You should be able to recover it.

Thanks! That worked.
I actually did try using the tool before, but it kept telling me that I already had a newer version of ROM installed and exited the program. But thanks to you I realised I was using version 5.3.5. The "newer version" error message makes sense now.

Weird bootloop that I've never seen before

Some months ago I dropped my phone at ocean and after stopped work because the USB part was broken. Last week I found an assistance with this part to replace and then my Xiaomi back to work normally.
I reset today and start using normally, but suddenly it stops worked with a boot loop, I couldn't use fastboot or recovery mode because the boot loop didn't stop at all, even with no battery the loop still occurring.
Your browser is not able to display this video.
Anyone knows what to do?
Connect the device to pc and run fastboot devices
While its saying waiting for devices
Hold power and vol down till the pc catches the bootloader.
Maybe it will stop the looping.

Hello, I tried but no success because the loop stop everything I try to do.
I can access the recovery mode, but can't select any option because it reboots again. It's like rebooting every 5 seconds. Tried 'fastboot devices' but didn't show waiting for devices, then I tried 'fastboot getvar all' and worked to show the message besides couldn't stop the loop.
Thanks for your help, I'll keep trying.
Fixed guys!!!!!
The problem was in the power button malfunction, the device was loop restarting because the power button was in some way pressed. I opened, removed and installed the button again and worked =D

M21 logo loop, can't access recovery

My mum tried to do the last update on her phone, during which most probably battery ran out - now phone is basically a brick.
When turned on it's stuck on logo loop, rebooting itself every 5-10 seconds or so vibrating once and repeating. When unplugged or plugged into the wall none of the button combinations work - the phone basically ignores everything.
When plugged to PC via USB I can invoke "updating process"? with Volume Up + Power / Volume Up combination, which should lead me to recovery menu - instead the phone goes into "update", loads bar up to 25%, gets stuck for about a minute or so, reboots and goes into logo loop.
Hard reset also "works" when plugged into PC - update screen shows up, gets stuck on 1%, phone gets hard rebooted, update comes up again, goes up to 25%, reboots and on to the logo loop...
Can I even somehow get into recovery mode to wipe cache to allow the phone to get update again or even wipe data to flash custom ROM? Screw data, I just want to make it work and not have a brick lying on the desk...

Have you tried using reiboot-for-android.exe by Tenorshare Co Ltd? Might help. Or if the device is within warranty then try Service Centers for that device.
You can try flashing stock rom from odin.
Download your current stock rom from samfw.com and extract the zip file.
Install odin and samsung usb drivers (link) and reboot your pc.
Reboot into download mode from your phone and press volume up:
Keep USB connected, Hold Volume Down and Power buttons, When screen turns off, hold Volume Up and Volume Down buttons
Click to collapse
Open odin and load the files:
AP = AP*.tar.md5, BL = BL*.tar.md5, CP = CP*.tar.md5, CSC = CSC*.tar.md5
Click to collapse
Click flash and wait till it says pass
Press and hold volume down and power to reboot. The first boot can take a while. Hopefully this will fix it.
