What are your settings for best readability?
I've tried several but I'm back to stock, which seems good for my own mix of presbiopsy and myopia

201 dpi through LCDDensity. I wanted more space on the Tab, and 204 brought some errors. I did read that it's best to set dpi at multiples of 3, can't remember why...
[Q] Changing the "wm density" results in off-centered Moto Display. How to fix?
The default DPI is 640. And everything looks so big on the phone. I've set mine at 565 based on http://dpi.lv/ and using their recommended DPI based on screen size and resolution. The unintended side effect of changing this makes my moto display (active display) off-centered!!!
Any way to counteract this or "re-center" the moto display?
EDIT: Solution found!!
Install "App Settings" from Xposed repository (or google it)
Set the DPI to 640 for Moto Display app.
Unlock button and clock will be unaffected!

I was able to do this using the adb shell command.
Make sure USB Dev mode is turn on, on your phone.
Open up cmd window.
Make sure you have Android SDK installed or unzipped somewhere.
Type "adb shell wm density [xx]"
Where [xx] = whatever you desire, 640 is default for Droid Turbo, I tried a smaller number, 565. Setting it at 350 was too low and some android process crashed.

Use 493.
So 493 centers back the moto display?

It does for me.
omg i was looking for this thread!
Coming from a oneplus one with 420 dpi, everything looks so BIG on this thing.
Default on my moto maxx was 660, but as low i changed the DPI, the active notifications resizes ugly, right now im using 640, but the active notifications are slighty to the left. i would like to make a low dpi but with active notifications not resizing. im gonna try 493 like that guy mentioned.
Edit:
Just tried 493, is not centered.
edit2:
565 looks great but active notifications are moved.

Did you reboot? Mine stayed centered until I rebooted, but then it was WAY off.
Oh. Don't reboot then.
Solución
Instala exposed
instala el modulo app setting
Con este módulo puedes manipular los dpi por aplicación, abre, busca pantalla moto y aquí asigna 640 dpi.
Listo

Your comprehension of my posts tells me you don't need to post in Spanish.
So why not reply in English so more people can understand?

What he meant it's
Install the xposed app "app setting "
With that app you can manipulate dpi per app.
Go to Moto display and put 640
Clock and everything will be centered
Really worked like a charm
Thanks!

This fixed my issue!! Thanks for the suggestion guys! I'll update my original post with solution.
The Application Setting app from Xposed doesn't seem to work for me, even after a reboot. I set the DPI to 565, was on ART, and after I rebooted the Active Display and Command Center were still off, even though I had changed the DPI on Moto Display and Command Center to 640 and clicked save. So I changed to Dalvik thinking that the change wasn't wanting to take in ART, but the Active Display and Command Center still are not taking the changes that I had placed in App Settings. I'm not understanding what I am doing wrong.

Is there any kind of on-phone application I could use to redo this setting? The post reboot issue is like nails on a chalkboard to me. 493 is gorgeous, though.

Xposed is not compatible with ART, Try with dalvik from the beginning installing xposed first, etc
Hello. A few minutes ago I discovered how to write correctly on the keyboard because the problem of latency on the screen does not let us use the keyboard correctly
1- download SwiftKey keyboard
2- Go to Settings, size. Shorten the sides of the keypad, about half a centimeter on each side.
3-up the keyboard position half a centimeter up
4-Enjoy quick and hassle-free writing.

Is there a setting or an app that would turn on some of the screen (like the circle around the camera hole for notifications) that could be used to light up my face when video chatting etc. in low light conditions?
I use AODNotify and when I get a notification, there's enough light from the notification circle around the camera to light up my face well and would be nice to be able to turn on when I'm in low light talking to someone.
I couldn't find an answer on here.
Thanks.
