Hi there, I've start learn xposed module development. So I've read the rovo89's tutorials on Github and try to replace layout in apk.
And it works only when I replace it in one apk and didn't work when I try to replace it in multiple files.
Please help me.
Can we see the code you're trying?
-What do this module?
This zip change the default font in system/font/ roboto-regular to the default in the zip or your font (see down).
-How to use?
•(You need magisk installed obviously )
•Flash the zip in magisk manager or in twrp.
•Reboot and enjoy new font.
-How to change default font in zip?
1.Change the name of your font xxxx.xxx.ttf to Roboto-Regular.ttf
2.Decompress the zip go to system/fonts and replace with your favorite font renamed.
3.Compress the zip and flash in twrp/magisk manager.
-Thanks

Oh, that's it? I feel pretty stupid now haha
It caused a little problem in WhatsApp though. The weird symbols are letters in Hebrew and it only happens in the name field. Also, it doesn't happen in any other application. I'll try finding a solution and will update if I manage to

I've tried placing the font I wanted (bellota) in the folder, but it seems not to be working (at least the regular one). I'm not sure if it's because I've an OMS Rom
If you have time can you test it or at least tell me if I did something wrong??
BellotaMagisk
Edit: OMS was messing up with this module

If one needs to replace fonts well, then all the variations needs to be replaced - about 18 fonts.. does this module support adding all 18?

Hi, i flashed this via magisk on my g955f stock rom and it changed the font to roboto regular, then i decompressed the file, changed the name to roboto condensed and flashed again and rebooted but it did not work. I also downloaded the font package and replaced the .ttf file and reflashed but it only changed the font back to stock. Help please? Thanks

Make sure that you replace the file name with the exact name that it is in system, and after a first installation flash the zip via magisk and not TWRP
Hope can help you

Okay so the file name is exactly the same as it is in system/fonts. Shall i first flash via magisk or twrp? If i flash via magisk after the first flash the app crashes. Thanks
EDIT: I've got it working now, thanks!
thanks for this OP! works on my my OP3T. replaced it with SJ Seceret from LG (coming from a LG G3), as inspired from here . sharing the zip here
Hey everyone!
(Nexus 5, 5x - Lineage 14.1/15.1 w/ Magisk)
So..... I have this one stubborn app, that I use daily
- Emoji works in Android 6.0.1 (corrected)
- Emoji is blank / broken in Android 7&8
I have requested the App Dev to update, but at his point I am thinking it is very low on their priority list
So my question is could a Majisk module fix this issue?
I know Android made some changes to the font implementation from v6 to current, not sure how involved this would be.... but if someone has a few ideas I would be willing to try it
Any help or suggestions are appreciated - thanks!
Maybe what I am looking for is a Magisk module to load fallback fonts?
Would that be complicated to create?
Experimenting in root /system/fonts/
I copied NotoColorEmoji.ttf and renamed to DroidSansFallback.ttf
I now have emoji, just missing some "symbols" ascii / unicode maybe?
This is not a systemless change - so just testing for now
There are a number of emoji modules in the Magisk repo (Magisk Manager - Downloads). Does one of those have that you're looking for?
If not, you could probably use them as inspiration for a module of your own.

I tried a bunch of them - didn't fix my app issue, I think it is because the app is hard coded to use DroidSans.ttf vs System font?
If I could figure out "why" it worked in Android 6 and not 7/8+ that would help... maybe something in fonts.xml?
Ultimately I would like to compile a Magisk module to fix this
...at this time I feel like it is beyond my skill level - more reading to do
If I make a DroidSansFallback.ttf from:
emojione-android.ttf - I have emoji (no unicode)
unifont-10.0.7.ttf - I have unicode (no emoji)
NotoColorEmoji.ttf - I have stock emoji (no unicode)
I am guessing I need to adjust something in font.xml to load the fallback fonts for DroidSans and Roboto-Regular? Or am I missing some really easy / obvious solution
I am not a creator of this app. Just want to shared thread link how to change Samsung S21 Ultra fonts without root.

1032 TTF FONTS
These are not my collection found somewhere, so that I share here.
Use ttf with mono app.
Enjoy...
Download here =>1032 TTF FONTS
I don't know what am I doing wrong, but I have copied some custom TTF fonts to the directory described (/monofonts/ttf ), and I have selected Samsung Sans as the default font, made the backup but I get stuck at the step of installing the TTF font. How do I do that? If i click on the ttf font nothing happens, and I assumed it would appear listed after copying to the monofonts/ttf directory, but no, it's not listed there. Pls help!

Thanks, that did the trick!
does this app still work on oneui 4.1? Or are there other options? Thank you
Working great on S21 Ultra with OneUI 5.1.
I recently upgraded from the Pixel 3a to the Pixel 7. On stock rooted currently. Tried searching for a solution, but most tutorials are outdated now. A few years ago Tulsadiver helped me with this Magisk module (attached) to apply my preferred custom fonts. I'm just looking for a way to apply the same fonts from this module. I'd be happy to make a donation if someone could help me - or point me in the right direction.

I use Font Manager from here https://www.androidacy.com/font-man...ram&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=social2web
Install magisk module, then use terminal to choose and apply your desired font.
Thanks for the reply. I looked at Font Manager, but it sounds like you can't apply your own fonts - you have to choose from what is available? That's my dilemma.
Edit: Looks like the download for Font Manager isn't working

Option 3. Apply custom font or emoji.
Have you tried it?
This is the latest version.
