Some issues with Chinese ROM - Nubia Red Magic 3 Questions & Answers

How do notifications show on lock screen for Chinese rom? I go into Notification and Status Bar -> Lock screen: Show notifications in lockscreen -> on. What ever notifications or things running in the background does not show on the lock screen. Also when rooting the device with Magisk Manager the SafetyNet Check ctsProfile is false. Anything I can do to solve these issues or is this normal?
EDIT: Found out that I had to enable notifications with each app in settings under App info. Still concerned about the SafetyNet issue though

Have you tried MagiskHide Props by Didgeridoohan?

I tried the SafetyPatch module by hackintosh5 and it works to my Nubia Red Magic 3 CN ROM. Thanks for this!

Thanks for the reply guys it worked ?

First of all thanks for this.
I just noticed something. When using Find my device, the first time I open it the device name says Huawei P30 pro which is not.
Also the device icon is wrong. I ignored this for a few days coz it doesn't really bothers so much as long as SafetyNet is green.
Until I installed System Panel 2 which revealed it didn't used NRM3's fingerprint but used of Huawei's which Google looks up on the device when using Find my device
I disabled SafetyNet patch and I guess, I'll reach out to the author to bring up the issue

OnePlus One: Xposed disables double tap status bar to sleep

When installing Xposed on the OnePlus One, the double tap status bar to sleep the screen feature is completely broken. Uninstalling the framework does not fix it.
Hope you can fix this issue in a future version.

Uninstalling the framework reverts all the changes Xposed made. If the problem still occurs after rebooting, then the framework didn't cause it.

I thought that was true also, but yesterday, I did three clean, full-wipe flashes, and the only A/B changes I made was to install and uninstall the Xposed Framework.
Before installation, tapping the status bar sleeps the screen.
After installation and/or removal, it does not.
Any idea why?

Works fine for me - same COS 12.1 - only have two modules though - so maybe disable all modules first and then retry.
TBH - I've never used that function - until you mentioned it - as I use the power button to lock.
That does not answer the question. It is not about it working to lock but what it does when it locks. The Notification screen should not be displaying when Unlock. On the first tap of the double tap the Notification screen or Status screen drops down before it goes to sleep. That should only happen when I swipe down not tap once. Why don't people read the post before they answer it?
You've got confused mate! There's no mention of 'what it does when it locks' as you say. The thread is about the double tap on status bar not working after installing xposed.
No worries - it can be a little confusing doing all that reading.

Issues with disabled, and re-enabling notifications in Android Pie, Mi 8

App notification toggle does not work. With Android Pie, you are able to choose which notifications to show, but if you hide them, the MIUI settings does not allow you to enable them again! I muted Play Store but am unable to re-enable the notifications. Screenshots below. Notification on App level is enabled but App Permissions says "Not Allowed" and no matter what I do, it doesn't change it.

I don't have such problem, now I have tried and I can do that, and it is working.
Running the latest global Pie build 10.1.2.0.

Running 10.1.2.0 too. Next time you get a Play Store notification, disable it from the notification pulldown. It breaks after that.

How to disable System UI "your battery is full" notification?

Posting here as I haven't heard back in the S10+ forum:
I don't recall seeing this on my Note9 running Pie, but with my S10+, when the battery is full, a second battery icon is pushed (left side next to the time) when the phone is plugged in and battery at 100%. According to the notification details, it is System UI / Battery Full. Unfortunately I cannot disable any of the System UI notifications.
Any workaround?
Update: System UI on the Note9 doesn't have a "battery full" trigger, hence why I've never seen it. Definitely something introduced on the S10.
Hoping to find out as well. I did set mine to Silent, removed app icon badges, and disabled it on the lock screen, but I believe it still shows on the notification tray and AOD

Yep this exactly.
Well hello there, fellow RFD'er!
Hope to find this out too
You can use the app autonotification to get rid of notifications like that. The notification hiding part of the app is free

You can use this app to hide the battery notification.

Any updates to fix this annoying problem? I just want to disable everything to do with the 100% fully charged activation.
I'm using AutoNotification to block the WiFi Calling notification.
- choose "Notification blocking"
- select the process causing this notification
- Enter the exact title or message
- done - after tapping ok, the notification should be blocked.
It works without any issues and I didn't notice any battery consumption by this app

Disable 'Notify on Restriction' not working for mkdirs hook restriction notification

I am running A10 on a Pixel 4a, and XPUA 1.27.
I added the mkdirs hook and configured it to turn on/off with the storage permission.
When I run an app that triggers this fif.file.mkdirs restriction notification, it will still show that notification even if I unchecked "Notify on Restriction".
Am I doing something wrong?

By default the File.mkdirs hook ( by fif_ ) should only be set to 'enabled' and show up in logs of xprivacylua pro. It will only show up as a notification if there a error in applying the hook ( which can be turn off ). If it happens again check in xprivacylua and look at the app involved if it has a circle with ! in it, next to the hook category, it usually means it has failed to apply that hook.
No circle at all - just a "fif.file.mkdirs Restriction" notification with "Notify on Restriction" off for this particular app.
Could it be a bug where the "Notify on Restriction" setting doesnt work properly for add-on hooks?

Could you post a screenshot of the notification.
I have test on two devices and all seen fine for me. On one device (Samsung S9) i get a notification "error" for stock file explorer whether notifications are on or off.
Tap on the notification it should take your to the app, it will show time restricted or error message ( cirlce with ! in it )
If your on 1.27 try updating to 1.30.
Also what app are you try to restrict. I don't have a Pixel 4a but if its a 3rd party app i could test it on my phone.
Will have to ask have you done any modification to the actually hook itself.
Thank you for your responses Just give me a little time to get back to you on these questions - I just spent the weekend switching over to the pixel 4a and fixing all the gotchas. So I have to catch up on regular work first, then get back to this issue.

Question Custom Message in Lock Screen

I think AOD (Always On Display) has something to do with it but it seems that the option to change the custom text on Lock Screen is removed from OP10 Pro. If true, it is pretty stupid. I mean remove the text set during earlier OS versions and remove the option.
Now I have a text there which could be a wrong info (ex-wife and such) but no option to edit/remove it!
Any help please.
I think you are looking for this...
Settings; personalizations; always on display; display settings; display message.
Is that it?
First of all, thanks for replying.
I do not have Personalizations at all, under Settings. "Always-On Display" is found under Settings > Wallpapers and style > AOD. Under this > More Display Settings > Info does show some info that I can add/remove, but can't edit the message that was already set before OOS13
BTW I am on OOS13.0 (Android 13), v NE2211_11_C.20. No root, no magisk, no customization of any type!
Same problem

Made an account just to post this and come out of my lurker hole.
To get Google pay option in the lock screen shortcut section available, I have to open "wallet" from the status bar drop down menu. If you open the wallet app this will not work.
Once wallet is opened from the drop down menu's icon, three dots on top right will have 1 option for lock screen settings. Click that and the first option is to change lock screen message text and the first toggle option is to allow wallet access from lock screen shortcut.
Here you can fix your text and or make that other setting available for use.
These lock screen settings are only accessible through this drop down quick menu that I have found and not the wallet app for some odd reason.
I accidentally set a "test" text to see where it would be placed and then couldn't get back to the setting and spent the next 8 hours trying to find it.
Hope this helps all who are as confused as I was.
Probably try Google Assistant application, by voice searching through it for "lock screen text" . It worked for me on Android 13 (OnePlus phone)
