Today I received a new update for my lg urbane.
Here are the ota links for everyone:
https://android.googleapis.com/pack.../8c629cf990996efbcb0d9f46ba0d81ec67573cd0.zip
haven't flashed it myself yet, but it happens to be this version, as other users are reporting it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=67991013&postcount=44
Build M1D63G
Android Wear 1.5.0.3044569
Security patch 5 July 2016
I flashed it. It's indeed the version above. There is no noticeable change so far.
Seeing as there is no thread for the OP3 discussing Nougat as it pertains to this device, I though I would start a discussion thread.

Android 7.0 was released August 22nd 2016 for the Nexus 5X, Pixel C, and Nexus 9 tablet. The factory images are available for download. Interestingly, Google also announced that the LG V20 will be the first device to launch with 7.0, meaning the Marlin and Sailfish nexuses are a bit farther away.
Hopefully OnePlus releases 7.0 for the OP3 sooner rather than later...
Edit: Nexus 6 and 6P have yet to receive OTA, but are expected to receive it soon
Hope they release the source soon so that the custom roms start popping up
What's the typical time frame from update to aosp I thought they were at the same time in the past

curious as to whether OOS or CM will get a full Android N ROM together first.

Since the OP3 devs are awesome, i'd guess there will be unofficial builds of CM before OnePlus releases the official OOS Nougat build. Although obviously early CM Nougat builds may not be 100% stable, but will obviously improve over time.
Now to wait for the AOSP drop and for someone talented to put together a ROM
Of course a custom ROM will come first, OOS takes far too long for what little changes it has.
I hope @Grarak will do his magic when the sources are available!
CM14 will take a long time (don't quote me on this but I guess it will be somewhere around December)
Jesus I cannot wait to try Nougat
Is it just me waiting for the OOS version of Nougat?
If you go by Android 6 releases, it took Oneplus ~9 months to release it after official release, so I expect the OnePlus 3 to receive Android 7 in May 2017.
AOSP sources have been updated soo. If someone wants to cook something up the resources are there.

You're not the only one. The only thing better than stock Android is OOS.
they were collecting 50 OP3 beta testers on theyr forum few weaks ago so i think that was android N beta testing phase.

Sounds great. Would be great to see nougat soon.
Android N does not look to be a giant leap from M so I don't think it will take OnePlus that long to get a beta or full release out

yeah, just multiwindow and vr support and little little design changes + some changes to doze. testing the final release on my 5x.
Moreover OP have to adjust the drivers for nougat...
The OP3 ist my daily driver, so i want a stable build.
I dont think oneplus will take longer time to update to android n. They may have learnt their mistakes they did in oneplus 2 and might not repeat this time. This is just my opinion.
If OP releases a stable Nougat build before the end of the year I would consider that a success. More importantly, I'd like them to release their camera source code so that it can be used in Aosp or CM based ROMs

No 8.1?
Yes, this release will not bring a 8.1 to our devices... It's very strange and disappointed, but we can't do anything with this.
i think i wait till LinageOS is more stable and flash this instead. OxygenOS has an end on our 3 Devices...
I'm looking to Nitrogen OS, but the "google multitouch lag" is very annoying, so I will wait for time when google fix it, and then switch to Nitrogen.
I think 1+ will not update 3/3t as previously and finally switch open beta program to 5/5t.
i think we only get a few security patches and "general bugfixes" in the future. the timeline for the OP3's is over. that's my opinion.
i switch to LinageOS or Paranoid Android (i hope we hear some more news about Oreo soon)

So I saw some articles stating that Oreo is finally rolling out together with the June security patch. I haven't gotten 8.0 or 8.1 but I do have the June patch. Does anyone know when it could be rolling out for everyone?
I've not seen any mention of a general release of the G5S+ stock Oreo on Reddit or on here, usually if there's an update there's a mention (usually a lot of mentions) somewhere. The latest information seems to be the Oreo update is still in soak beta testing, and Motorola releases the update when they're happy with it. I've no idea when that release may be, if it has minor bugs or is ready, then it may be very soon. If they're finding major bugs, as had happened to other OEMs with their Oreo update, they may hold the update until the bugs are fixed. In summary, you'll have to wait for Motorola.
And if so, can we finally expect faster security updates?
Easier updates to custom ROMs and/or a not so delayed update to Android Q would also be great, but at the very minimum, if we could get a faster pathway to important security updates, it would be a real sign of progress...
