Hey guys, I've been having difficulty finding the right guide to properly downgrade my T-Mobile Galaxy s8+. I updated to pie and my sound is terrible now. Distortion and the volume is too low.
I can't figure out to fix it so I just want to downgrade back to Oreo.
Is that possible? Also, will I lose all of my data if I do? I've attached my phones full software details if that helps.
Thanks!!
It is not possible to downgrade to oreo anymore

Hello everyone,
I have question about 4.4.2. This night I went to settings to check if there is os update available and after half year maybe i can update again but now to 4.4.2 KitKat.
Can you tell me if it's good idea to update to 4.4.2. because i've seen some people are writing online about 4.4.2 issues...? Does this mean for all devices or?
I did not use any custom rom-s, and didn't do any os modifications, even i didn't "root" it.
Currently it is using 4.3. android and everything works well, but as you may think i'm pretty curios about 4.4.2 and i don't belive i can ignore that but i just want to know about some problems if any..
I repeat, it is offical update, not custom.
Thanks in advance
Perica
OMG. I've done update last night and i have these issues now:
- overheating of device (back, bottom) - with time it is heating less as i can see..
- 3g is disconnecting every half second
I'm now trying to fix these issues but as i can see i will now need to use custom rom
:crying:
Just to confirm that there is no overheating anymore. And 3g is now working because of some other not important reasons.. it was nothing to upgrade. I didn't do anything and now everything is fine. Overheating was because of inital initialization only i'm thinking. Anyway, even i didn't test it fully i didn't had any other problems and i can confirm that upgrade is fine.
Hi
I have a problem my Bluetooth connection to my car (BMW E91 Nav Prof) dosnt work since the Android 6 Update. It works well again with a downgrade to Lolipop but the Perfomance etc is much better with Marshmallow.
Is it possible to downgrade only the Bluetooth files?
Already tried a lot Apps to fix the Problem, disconnet and connect the phone many times, delete Cache and use some other settings nothing helps, just the downgrade.
I got the newest official Sony software and root acces.
Could be nice if somebody help me to fix the problem

Unfortunately I don't think so.
But to be honest I would rather have stock Lollipop than Marshmallow lol.
But if you need Marshmallow then try Concept Software.

Try wiping the cache partition in recovery mode. That should help. If it doesn't then you would have to perform a hard factory reset.
i did it but nothing same problem
can i try to reflash again Oreo 8.0 with odin ??
Try using Kies to repair your device. It maybe missing specific drivers that is causing your issue
How did you downgrade? I am also interested in downgrading to 7.1.1
Why are people downgrading to 7.1.1?

Because they don't like Oreo for whatever reason. Some have mentioned battery issues, or problems with specific apps. For others it works great.
i have dowgraded with odin
i like oreo but battery is much better with 7.1.1
Can you downgrade if yours isn't rooted? I got the crappy boot locked version :[
i can dowgrade without root

Hi all
I have re-posted this to the G7 plus forum, I mistakenly posted it in the G7 forum previously.
I have a Motorola G7 Plus XT1965-3 RETGB, after being pestererd by the update to android 10 mesage for several weeks, I finally agreed, since then, the phone fails to work with my in car head unit bluetooth connection.
It pairs, and will stream music from the phone through bluetooth to the head unit, just will not work as a hands free phone.
The head unint is a Kenwood DNX4230DAB, it shows the device connected as A2DP, but the phone (HFP) just shows connecting forever, before the update to Android 10, it worked flawlessly.
I've tried doing a full device reset, didn't help, and following various things posted on forums on the web, again no luck, the phone is unrooted, and the bootloader is locked, it is essentially as was when purchased other than the Android 10 OTA update.
Can anyone tell me is it poossible to roll back the Andoroid 10 update, I should never have done it in fairness, i've been bitten many times before with updates breaking stuff.
If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get the handsfree calling working again, or can offer a easy to follow guide on how to roll back to Android 9, I would be super grateful, I need to get the device working as a handsfree phone before I go back to work this week if at all possible.
Hoping someone can help.
I have an similar issue. On LOS17 the phone app works well with bluetooth but all the other voip apps like zoiper, bria or groundwire dont. the audio over bt is one way only
Regarding your issue: I afraid an OTA downgrade is not possible. However with fastboot you should be able to flash every stock you want as long as it is stock
Unfortunately, I tried to flash the stock Android 9 retgb rom, now the phone is a brick!
I wasn't aware that you need to unlock the bootloader before you flash the rom, so now it will no longer start

You only need to unlock the bootloader when you are downgrading or switching to another version, like from retus to retbra, saying this, you phone turns on? does it do anything? maybe you just need to flash the rom again, you can go here: https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/lake/ and find the firmware for your phone, you may have to flash it manually, i have tried to flash the firmware for my phone with RSD Lite but it says that its not in bootloader, if you are flashing the same build that you had or a higher build you dont need to have an unlocked bootloader, just check the dates and the build numbers to make sure that its the same you had or a higher one, just search how to manually flash it, if its really bricked, that it will not boot into bootloader, you can use blankflash to save it, just search on the forum
I currently own a Nokia 5.3 and trying to bypass the annoing touchscreen problems by downgrading back to stock Android
If anyone knows about the integrity of www.firmwarefile.com and can reassure me I can use the image downloaded it would be highly appreciated.
