The fix is to replace the device under warranty. Good luck.

Hi ! Have you experienced random freeze on your Mi A2 especially when playing games ? It freezes for 3-5secs. I used to play mobile legend & dragon nest.

It's a ram issue. Try running a benchmark and then check your ram usage. When I checked it I had like 50mb of ram free and it was freezing for a couple seconds.
I always have 1.4-1.5gb free ram. I dont think its a free ram issue. btw, thanks

Sounds more like the slow memory problem. Low ram leads to apps getting killed bit should not freeze the system.
where we can address this kind of issue ? its kinda annoying.

MIUI doesn't have this issue so hopefully it can be fixed. The latest when we have proper custom roms

Same here
I get freeze and sometimes shutdown, please what should i do, my phone doesnt even get hot or something like hat , normal use and bam.... please help
Same here just even browsing facebook or any kind of apps, it hangs or freeze for about 2-3 seconds. Xioami android one program is very unoptimized specially the december 2019 patch had bugs on chrome and front camera flash
I've also experienced random freezes on my Mi A2 (6/128).
In the last two days I was at several places where I had no/bad mobile network (max. edge) and exactly at these places my phone started to freeze and the system-ui crashed.
Dont know why but switching it to flight mode solved the problem somehow.
After upgrading to latest android P though OTA, I'm suffering from noticeable lag from fingerprint unlock to getting back to home screen.
Anyone facing similar issue?
Thank you!

i used to password , after fingerprint , screeen appear keyboard at the moment
I think I just found the solution. I turned off adaptive battery and no lag now. So far so good...

Hi!
I've been having this problem for a while now. I'm on EU 8.12.13 / Sphinx 1.9 (Even though I tried different versions, kernels the problem is still there.)
Basically it keeps my phone awake a lot. I mean a lot. It barely goes to deep sleep. Sometimes restarting the phone fixes it but eventually it comes back.
Android System eats it all, specially the alarms I'm about to show you on my screenshots.
Can someone tell me how to fix this? I think it has something to do with wifi scanning or not. I wish there's an app like Amplify that you guys might know to help me with this issue. Thanks!

Android System alarm 2.7 per min? That's quite a lot compared to other screenshots I've seen.

My k20 pro have not yet been boot loader unlocked!! But after the android q update it has started restarting for no reason like twice in a day or so i dont know what causes it! Have anyone else faced this issue?
The restart doesnt take long though the redmi loading screen comes and takes boots up with 10 seconds
It's still in Beta right. So there'll be bugs

I dont think so it's the beta it says miui global 10.4.7|stable
Soon after upgrading to Miui 11 global (Update arrived by OTA), I noticed that chrome started to display many lags in scrolling pages, asism as in every interface of this browser. I restored the device to factory defaults and yet the problem persists. Does anyone have any solutions? Is anyone else going through the same problem? Is this a Miui 11.0.1.0 bug?
Note:
* I tested it on Xiaomi's browser and Firefox and both of these lags don't exist.
* I tested Chrome Canary, Beta, Dev and everyone has the same problem
