I don't think that Android can view MKV files without any extra software, so you will have to install movieviewers that know what to do with MKV files.
Try VLC for Android.

also with VLC Windows be show this warning because sure not know if compatible app is installed, only show generic warning for uncommon file format while copying to phone/portable device...
That is just a standard warning, as old as Android.
Install any video media app and it should work. I use MX Player (Pro).

FYI he removed DTS codec couple updates ago because of license issues
but added option in settings to add your own codecs
Anyways here is the DTS codec
put in main directory on SD
Go to settings in dice player and check off Custom plugin
Thanks! You're the man as always
just spreading the word.
also didn't compile the codec i found a while back (forget where) so take no credit
In HOME ( of Movies app), show the videos of SD and the camera.
is it possible?
Sorry for my English
(They are now separated)

I'm pretty sure the title sums it up, but I seem to not be able to use the media server or output option in my Default media player. I'm running Android 4.4.2 with Nonsense ROM 1.04.:crying:

What's your "Default media player?" All I can think of is Apollo and it sucks.
